Chorizo and asada tacos

I can't say enough good things about this place! I've tried both the tacos and quesadillas and they never disappoint -- every bite is packed with flavor. You can tell everything is made fresh, and the meats are seasoned perfectly. The taquero is also one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet. He even let me try a suadero taco on the house, and wow -- it was a 10/10. You don't get that kind of hospitality everywhere. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful tacos with great service and good vibes, Luigi's Tacos is the spot. Highly recommend!

Delicious! My husband and I have been going to Luigi's for a little over a year now. The taste is always consistent, customer service is always great, and salsas are always on point. We have even contracted Jose Luis team for a baby shower and everyone loved them. As well, a community event and same results. If you go, you must try the el pastor.

It was a cold, rainy morning, wanted some chili verde. Checked out some places on yelp and decided…read moreto give this one a try. The chili Verde did not disappoint. It was tasty and there was plenty on the plate along with rice, beans, and a small salad. Absolutely love that they put a fire roasted chili on top, radish slices, and an orange slice. The service was great! As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked if she could take my order. Sidenote, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. They have a salsa bar, which I got a picture of, it will be in this review. All of the salsa looks fresh and tastes amazing! They serve fresh chips with a light amount of beans on top. Yummy! The ambience of this place is a cute trendy vibe. Since it is a couple days after Valentine's Day, they have decor for Valentines in the lobby and small hints throughout the restaurant. Definitely be forewarned they are a cash only business. They do have atm in the lobby. I had enough cash on me to pay for my food. Chili Verde plate and a small soda came to $23 and change.

After I nearly blew up my poor en-suite microwave (I didn't realize the El Picosito staff had DOUBLE wrapped my burrito, an inner layer of aluminum foil encased within an outer paper layer) the rest of my W evening dinner was uneventful. Typically, El Picosito formulates their burritos w/ the protein of your choice, beans/rice, cheese, onions/cilantro and hot sauce- I made only one change, pivoting from the hot sauce to sour cream. My burrito was good sized, filling and quite toothsome, a rib-sticking, finger-licking meal. While I canmot affirm if they're "a lil bit spicy," they are a lotta bit tasty.

The food has always been solid. The tacos are flavorful, the portions are generous, and they do not skimp on the meat. It can be a little on the oily side, but for a food truck that is part of the experience and it still hits every time. You can tell the team works hard. Even when they're busy the line moves and the quality has been consistent every visit. The pricing is more than fair for what you get, which is another reason we kept coming back. It had been a while since my last stop, but I saw the truck driving the other day and it reminded me I needed to leave a review. Definitely due for another late night taco run soon.

There wasn't a line at around 5:30 pm, so it was quick to order. This truck accepts Zelle payments, which was huge! After browsing their menu, I ordered (1) al pastor burrito, (1) carnitas taco, and (1) chorizo taco. Despite a large order, everything was neatly packed within 10 minutes. They also included the sauces in the bag. The chorizo taco was a bit lacking in flavor, but I consider it 3/5. I liked the asada tacos a lot better and consider it a 3.5/5. For the burrito, this was definitely my favorite and I'd give it a 4/5. There was a lot of flavor in the onion, beans, rice, etc. The only drawback was the burrito was falling apart with each bite, so be prepared to get messy! One thing to note is that the pepper they gave was very spicy. If you're looking to dine here, there are a few tables in the front that accommodates large groups.

Excellent service & excellent food. Tried the taco plate today cause get three tacos, beans & rice…read more The beans are really good. They are not only the perfect smoothness but very tasty. Rice is nice - dry not wet. Now the meats! Three tacos - chicharon (red or green sauce), carnitas, and and buches. All three were very tasty. Buches was new to me but reminded me of pork roast on a minor level. Tasted more like pork than the carnitas. The chicharon was not the chunk of meat version. It's the skin itself so it's soft. Btw, the green sauce is awe--some! My friend had the fish taco (prepared Ensenada style), the carne asada and adobo. She liked all of hers and she went back to get tacos to take home to family. Her brother also loved the fish taco! Pretty much everything is good here. My friend said the steak picado is also excellent! They have some breakfast burritos but you need to get them day before for next day breakfast (they DO hold up well!) . I will post pix of menus, hours, etc.

Including me, since I tend to stop by for lunch a lot. If you don't know it existed, most people would blow past it since it's in the far corner of a strip mall, behind the Szechwan/Sichuan restaurant, near the Pick Wick liquor store and the 7-11. Tacos Omanas. It has tacos in the name, so get the tacos! Not that their other stuff is bad. I get their nachos from time-to-time, and I can't say their style of burrito is my favorite. But all the varieties of tacos just hit the spot for me. They come out fast, piping hot, pre-seasoned, pre-salsa. And oozing with goodness. Yes, all the tacos, whether you get it normally or dorado style, there is no elegant way to eat them. They are drippy, hot, and get all over the place. But steak picado, asada, buches, shrimp, and even their fish tacos are oh so satisfying. Not offensively spicy, but enough bite to complement such a beautiful, soulful, home-cooked taste. Wrapped in real tortillias, with real substance and texture. I can't say this is the absolute best, but it's one of my favorites when I'm in the area and need a quick bite that satiates the spirit.
