I just left this restaurant right now is 8:15 PM. I stood in the lobby for about five minutes. Nobody paid attention to me. When I walked out the guy from the side, just kind of stared at me and watched me walked out. I hear the food is good, but it's kind of insulting to stand in the lobby like that when they're supposed to be open. I won't come back to this place again. read more

I've been coming to Luis Burgers since they took over ownership of the building. The food started off good but I did notice that a little bit overtime they did start to change the recipes of how the burgers were assembled. One thing that stood out was that for a period of time they stopped making their cheeseburgers with pickles. Which I thought that was interesting on a positive note they did switch from the regular white onion that you see at most burger places over to a red onion which was a nice touch and I'm sure more expensive. Unfortunately overtime the prices at Luis burgers have really gotten a bit out of control although the quality of the food is still there these days people are definitely taking an extra look on how they are spending their money. And this place has gotten just a little too expensive for fast food read more

A friend of mine bought zucchini fries, which were the best that I've ever seen and tasted! Didn't quite go in to see Service , but with the way the food tastes and looks I would say they're pretty good and based on the pictures, the ambience isn't too bad either But I would mostly do takeout. read more

We went yesterday through the drive thru for two burgers and fries combos. First, we ask for ketchup and we get told "there's already some in there." Okay cool! TWO combos right? WE GET ONE PACKET OF KETCHUP?! I'm sorry, do the workers there get charged out of their check for adding ketchup for orders??? Super annoying I'm sorry. And second, one of them is was supposed to be a grilled chicken sandwich and i ended up with a grilled cheese. Overall, very disappointing for it being the first time there. read more

I love that they have a drive-thru and they offer up breakfast as well as burgers! I'm a big fan of their zucchini fries (Surprisingly hard to find in a drive-thru) and their country fried steak breakfast platter is a go-to hangover meal. If I've been drinking wine, Luis' can expect me to dine. They also make phenomenal burgers. So far I've tried a regular cheeseburger and a pastrami burger and both were fantastic! The prices are great too, with a family pack meal for four under $30. Can't beat that! read more

The pastrami burger is amazing. Flavorful pastrami, lots of mustard and nice sour pickles, fresh shredded lettuce and tomato. The fries are season salted and crispy. Stopped by the other day for a burger and fries combo. Glad I did . Even though there are corporate burger joints around, I want to give my money to a little place. I've actually been hitting more "Drive In" burger places. Anyway, the burger was really good, shred lettuce, nice tomato, not sure what the spread was but it too worked. Inconsistent.....I had a pastrami sandwich 2 weeks ago that was great and one last night that wasn't. Their bathroom should be put in jail it's so incredibly ridiculous. No soap. No hot water. Don't eat here they f*** up every order asked for no dressing on my burger got dressing on it now I have a soggy ass burger and that's not the first issue had 3 drinks mostly f***ing Ice and they screwed up the drinks too and on top of that the drive thru person spilled the drinks on my fresh white tee didn't offer to at least fill the drinks up just got handed napkins and got a half assed sorry never getting food here again I'll take my money to pops burgers or frosty king I'd give this place no stars if I could......... y'all have a nice day read more

When we first move to Bakersfield 2 years ago this was our favorite spot but it seem like they are dropping in quality of their food. My husband and I always get their club sandwich large combo since it's enough to share. Plus at this moment we are paying 2 rents at 2 different location because of a fire at our apartment on H street. We are both on dialysis on disability with a 16 year old son. We were the first customer today order our usually. It taste really funny where my stomach started to hurt. Then food shopping at Walmart my husband threw up in the store. That was the only thing we ate. So I called n spoke with the manager stating I think your sandwich meat is bad because my husband throw up. He said no its fresh I always put fresh sandwich meat. He didn't say anything else which I wasn't trying to get anything free I just didn't want anyone else to get sick. Well we won't be going there anymore. read more

The food is always decent but they always seem to mess up at least one of the burgers I get when I go and they always charge me for sides of ranch and never give it to me which is annoying because if I'm paying for it I should receive it and if I don't I should get my money back but the staff is decent the food is decent just check your bags and order before you leave read more

Hmm, where to begin? Thinnest burger ever - like a McDonald's patty, at least the ones here seem to be real meat. The bacon on my burger was tasty, but the vegetables pretty sad. Standard fries, nothing special. Otherwise the place just looks shady - the painting isn't complete, it looks unclean - overall by the time I was done eating, I was ready to get the eff out. read more

They messed up on my order and I had to drive back in the ladies tells me just to come pick up the new burrito then when I get there they tell me I have to bring the food back and I got to drive back to my house and back again one burrito cost me like $20 in gas. read more

Two words: Pastrami Burrito Seriously, for this item alone they should be famous. They also make great breakfast food and their burgers are in par with John's Burgers. Their bacon is thick, their steak fries are yummy, their portions are big, and their flavors are bold. Complaints: White on & S. H Street is a bit out of the way, but it's worth it. read more

They have a drive thru for those times you want to eat at home or on the go and they also have a diner where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. I love how BIG their breakfast burritos for a great price. Food is good. My favorite has to be the onion rings they are huge. Luis burger is the only burger ive tasted and I keep going back to it. Amazing taste. Customer service does need some improvement. From what ive seen looks like they replaced the sesamee seed buns with just plain no seed buns, which sucks. Restrooms have been really clean everytime I have gone. Definitely the place in Bakersfield that you have to try. read more
