I got the their most popular one, which was the bacon, ham, and sausage with the option to add gravy in and it was absolutely delicious! I was craving a simple breakfast burrito, hearty and filling and I got exactly that. I pulled up and was pleased that it was at a gas station. I personally love little mom and pop shops. Had a break while getting some car work done in this area and decided to pop in to this little hole in the wall gas station spot. Smelled amazing upon entering. My husband ordered the carne asada burrito and I got the asada tacos and one chili verde taco. The tacos were HUGE but just meat and cheese not a traditional street taco you'd expect, no onion or cilantro and they used shredded cheddar cheese they were okay. My husbands burrito was also huge but not a lot of meat and the salsa is watery and way too spicy for the average person and I like spicy! I think the appeal here is the portion size, probably great place to grab a burrito during a long work day and while the food was okay it wasn't anything great. If I valued quantity over quality this would have been more to my liking but I'd rather have less and better food. The place is clean for what you'd expect and the lady taking our order was polite. The rest of the customers seemed to be people headed to or taking a break from work, probably regulars. I wouldn't go out of my way to go again. read more

Gus's is a hole in wall restaurant that only the locals know. They service hundreds of working class and their bosses . It's in the gas station at Rosedale and Gilmore. On one hand, you want to keep his place secret, so you can keep it low key and awesome, and be selfish. But I'm not, and the food so good and plenty of it. It's always cooked to order so it might take an extra 5 minutes to get it. The B&G are the best since my Moms. They are custom, and they do take out exceptionally well. read more

Wow! I found this place by accident ( No I didn't crash into it) but drove by and saw a bunch of construction men typoes out on their tailgates taking apart these burritos. I stopped and asked if they were any good and the grunting sounds alone convinced me. I ordered a couple of breakfast burritos with everything and BAMM, these things were huge. I took them to some friends I was meeting in the area and they, of course, fell in love. We went back the next day for tacos and another BAMM. One person mentions they are pricey, not really. I'll agree with the other review that the price is on the higher side for a breakfast burrito, but I also believe you get what you pay for. After eating this burrito I certainly got what I paid for. All the ingredients were top quality. It was all cooked perfect. Hashbrowns had just the right amount of crisp, not burnt, but cooked perfectly. The bacon was absolutely delicious. Salsa had just the right amount of spice. I want to try to the gravy next time. Just the right mixture of hashbrowns, eggs, cheese, and bacon. It wasn't overloaded with potato filler like some other places who claim their burritos are the biggest. The service: Not a whole lot to say. The lady there was nice. Took my order. I ordered to-go. I paid. Sat down for about 5 minutes. Got called. My order was ready. Was asked if I wanted salsa or gravy. She bagged it, thanked me and handed me my food. No complaints there. Overall: Very happy with my visit and my food. Hence the 5 stars. This is a little dive grill inside a gas station. There is nothing even remotely attractive about this place. But for what it is, let me tell you the food is excellent. I did a mixed breakfast burrito. Ham, bacon, sausage, bell pepper, onion, hash browns and cheese. I had salsa instead of sausage gravy, but sausage gravy is an option. I also asked for a side of their house made red chili sauce. Man is that stuff hot and tasty. I'd come back here when I am in town for the breakfast burritos.
