a large pizza in a box

I was impressed how good this pizza was. After reading the reviews, I wanted to give this place a try and im glad I did. The pizza has a nice balance between cheese and sauce. The crust is nice and soft. The prices are nice and affordable. Im looking forward to trying different things. A+

    Square pizza too doughy

I knew the 4.5 star rating is probably deceiving since this is the suburbs and you can never trust the ratings in the burbs. There are 2 reasons for this... 1.) People are too nice and don't gibe the honest review 2.) they arent exposed to the best pizza so their perception of good is skewed. Nevertheless, I ordered both the square and the regular pizza pie. I was holding out hope but my worse fears were realized. It is below average pizza. The square slice is better than the regular but not by much. The regular has a saltiness to it which is typical from average pizza. The square is doughy and a little better but it is not as good as Brooklyn square. I hate to do this to the place but I can only be honest since the Yelp nation counts on me to give a fair review. This is more of a 2.5 star place. It is bang average which I should have expected.

Salmon and steak and the potatoes were perfect

if I could give 6 stars I would. This place really went above and beyond. We were looking for a place to accommodate 10 people at around 6:00. We were told by one place that they were short-staffed and couldn't help us (they were not). This place took us in with open arms and Sal and Fernando cooked us a DYNAMITE family style meal. Everything was perfect and delicious. The salad, steak, salmon, lobster ravioli....they even had ZUCCHINI FLOWERS!!!

    Dough

We have been ordering from Luisa's for a few years now and never had a problem.... Until last night when we ordered a well done pizza and got nothing but uncooked dough. We ordered through the App " Slice" and complained and the best Luisa's can do is give us 10% off which was absolutely ridiculous. We couldn't even eat the damn pizza. We will NEVER be ordering here again. Poor poor customer service

Zuppa de Pesce appetizer loaded with mussels, calamari, shrimp, salmon and scallops. Amazing!

Good pizza, crust on the thinner side which I like. Sauce is on the sweet side with an adequate amount of cheese. Overall a good pie.

The location is a little further than we would normally travel, but it was worth it. I loved all the farm to table foods they have. They even nicely promote all the partners they use right on the wall of the restaurant, so you know where all your food comes from. Everyone loved their meals! I had the Thai chicken sandwich and it was so flavorful and delicious. It came with a side and I picked baked sweet potato wedges that were really good and so memorable that a week later I am still thinking about them. Other dishes ordered were the chicken salad and strawberry salad which my friends both enjoyed. Our server was very good and didn't rush us as we were just chatting up a storm. The restaurant suggests reservations which are a good idea, especially for dinner. I will definitely be back and can't wait to put Harvest on my restaurant rotation. Sorry no photos this time... the food was just so good and we were hungry!

Tucked away in a small town, you will find a cozy nook to discover American cuisine…read more Brand: 5/5 Harvest is a small restaurant in Farmingdale specializing in New American cuisine. The entrance stands out in this borough, despite its small size. I do think that sign with the wooden background reflected the cozy interior quite well with a homey style. The country décor on the walls also enhances the aesthetics. Website: 5/5 It wastes no time, for it immediately opens you to the menu where most of the items have their own images. I appreciated the minimalistic design where the understandable font provides you with the information. The basic description of the establishment does say that they rely on locally sourced ingredients. Ambiance: 5/5 Normally, dark interiors would not necessarily work for eateries unless they achieve a cozy vibe; which is what Harvest did perfectly. The wooden walls provide a sense of comfort underneath lights dim enough to not offend the eyes but bright enough to see. Despite the cramped space, I did think that the interior fitted the ambiance, along with the smooth country music playing over the radio. Service: 5/5 The staff was quite jovial and patiently explained a part of the menu. We had no issues with our orders. Wait Time: 5/5 I did wait awhile for the meals, though we managed to get our orders without any interruptions. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Grilled Chicken Thai Sandwich with no additional sides, with a free, complementary glass of water. It has ciabatta beard containing grilled chicken, spinach, cucumbers, and Thai sauce. I do not know if the signature sauce is authentically Thai, but I will say that I could barely tolerate the pungent taste and smell. I cannot say whether it is the feature. Every other part, such as the spinach and the cucumbers, definitely complemented the grilled chicken with a juicy taste. The ciabatta bread buns managed to hold their form, even as the contents started to fall off. Worth The Money?: 2/5 I will say that Harvest brand has as much of a highfalutin status as its prices. While the restaurant reflects the New American cuisine, it does not come off as condescending. Nevertheless, I still thought that the limited menu items just do not help with the prices. For the website, I would suggest a list of all the farms and independent distributors that Harvest relies on for ingredients, and to include a backstory about how Harvest began and where the name came from. I find local-sourcing incredibly important and commend Harvest for incorporating this into their business model. Concerning the food, I will say that the Grilled Chicken Thai sandwich did have suffice within the ambiance. The wait time it took to make the meal was appropriate enough. I will say that the wait time did feel long within the establishment, especially when no one else was around. Nevertheless, the service did make the food worth the wait and the ambiance worth immersing in. With all of this being said, would I say that the overall price would bring me back? Not really. Even the complementary water could not win me over when compared to the prices. Prestigious New American eateries tend to have a focus on specific consumer bases, and I am just not one of them. I do not score low on this part out of spite, rather based on my current station and many other people. I did tip the staff and I did have enough satisfaction with the meal. Rating: 4/5 Stars I do not know how Harvest would carry itself into the future, though I can see how it would suffice as a New American restaurant. Recommend To... Anyone with enough disposable income looking for a quiet restaurant.

Here in this part of Howell Township, you will find a sports bar that provides you with a good meal…read moreand a good time watching the games. Brand: 5/5 Chapter House is a restaurant bar located in Howell. While the aesthetics have a standard quality, the wine-red color scheme percolates throughout them. I did think that the entrance to the establishment had interesting form, since it involves stone steps. When you walk inside, you find yourself in a narrow hallway towards the main dining area. Website: 3/5 It immediately brings you to a section of the main page with a solid, wine-red color, which brings the score down. It is also pretty slow to navigate when you first come upon it, and the About Us page does not tell you anything about the establishment's backstory. The website does give you a glimpse at the images that show the specials that Chapter House has to offer, though only three images exist specifically for the menu items. Wait Time: 5/5 Our orders experienced no delays or interruptions. Ambiance: 5/5 As expected of any sports bar, you have the option to either sit at the bars or at the tables, which had well-spaced placement. Just like any sports bar, you have plenty of options of viewing multiple televisions of multiple games. It can get noisy as expected, but I knew what I was getting myself into and did not feel bothered. The seat felt comfortable and the table had enough space for our orders. Food: 4/5 I ordered the Jersey Burger, with a well-done patty, pork roll, American cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes, with a side of chips and orange juice. While the patty did have subtle amounts of rawness, it had a mostly well-done texture. The buns barely held their forms just eating them. The taste definitely adds spiciness from the pork roll, while the American cheese barely manages to make it tasty. The lettuce and tomatoes had a more profound flavor while the cheese had more texture. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get our orders right without any issues. He asked me specifically how I wanted the burger cooked, and came back to ask us if we needed anything. Worth The Money?: 5/5 Chapter House offers a menu selection involving burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other meals that match the brand of the sports bar, for they have enough caloric absorption for every spirit; and the Jersey Burger has to include a pork roll. I would like to see it reflect off the website more, beyond the images of the menus. The website would also benefit with a view of the bar itself (perhaps a navigable panorama). Though, the website does not bother me as much so long as I rely on Yelp, but having an updated website helps tremendously. The Jersey Burger was prepared for within the appropriate amount of time, and eating it within the ambiance of the bar definitely fit, almost as though I started losing myself into the Jersey Burger. The service involved managed to get the food right. As such, I can say that the experience felt meaningful and I did not regret coming there. The ambiance reflects bar brand without showcasing it as a seedy hive of villainy. Waiting for the food did not feel cumbersome, and the staff make you feel at home. Considering the ingredients needed to make the Jersey Burger, and including the chips and cole slaw, I will say that I would have gotten this meal at a higher price elsewhere. I do think that the price is worth it, though personally I do not drink as much so I would not make Chapter House my personal choice. Rating: 5/5 Stars I enjoyed coming to Chapter House. Recommend To... Any locals looking for a quick meal.

Last weekend my wife and I decided to visit the Howell location. I guess lightening doesn't strike twice, sadly. We used the app to reserve our space and notified the hostess upon arriving. We were offered bar seating along with a free app. Things were looking good. We were greeted immediately by a busy bar tender who was super nice. We ordered our drinks and were asked what type of free app we'd like. We opted for the boneless chicken wings. Then for entrees my wife and I both ordered sirloins, i opted for the combo with ribs, she got the steak by itself. We both asked for them to be cooked medium. Her steak was grey (well-done) mine was perfect. I cut mine in 1/2 and gave it to her. I ate a piece of my steak which was very nice. Then i cut into my ribs which turned out to be the driest ribs i've ever eaten. I literally had to grab my drink out of fear of choking (I'm not exaggerating). I've heard too many stories as to why you never send food back, so we opted to hold onto what we had. Sitting next to us was an older couple. They both ordered steak, the lady returned her steak as it was overcooked as well. By the time they brought her a new steak, her husbands steak was cold. They complained and were given a gift card to return with. After our Lancaster experience we were beyond excited to try TRH again only to have the wind knocked from our sails.
