I was impressed how good this pizza was. After reading the reviews, I wanted to give this place a try and im glad I did. The pizza has a nice balance between cheese and sauce. The crust is nice and soft. The prices are nice and affordable. Im looking forward to trying different things. A+

I knew the 4.5 star rating is probably deceiving since this is the suburbs and you can never trust the ratings in the burbs. There are 2 reasons for this... 1.) People are too nice and don't gibe the honest review 2.) they arent exposed to the best pizza so their perception of good is skewed. Nevertheless, I ordered both the square and the regular pizza pie. I was holding out hope but my worse fears were realized. It is below average pizza. The square slice is better than the regular but not by much. The regular has a saltiness to it which is typical from average pizza. The square is doughy and a little better but it is not as good as Brooklyn square. I hate to do this to the place but I can only be honest since the Yelp nation counts on me to give a fair review. This is more of a 2.5 star place. It is bang average which I should have expected.

if I could give 6 stars I would. This place really went above and beyond. We were looking for a place to accommodate 10 people at around 6:00. We were told by one place that they were short-staffed and couldn't help us (they were not). This place took us in with open arms and Sal and Fernando cooked us a DYNAMITE family style meal. Everything was perfect and delicious. The salad, steak, salmon, lobster ravioli....they even had ZUCCHINI FLOWERS!!!

Zuppa de Pesce appetizer loaded with mussels, calamari, shrimp, salmon and scallops. Amazing!

Don't judge a book by it's cover when it comes to this gem! Luisa's is the real deal! Excellent service, outstanding delicacies and all at a good value. First time here we were meeting friends for a quick birthday celebration only because it was at the half-way point for our friends. 3 hours and a personal touch by owner, Sal, later....you get the idea. They made us feel like family. Even plated 3 desserts and added candles and sang Happy Birthday! We'll be meeting our friends their again, for sure. Thanks for a great time, Sal!

The pizza is average at best. Had chicken parmigiana sub it was alright. Portions are pretty small for the price. Had no wait on Friday night which is s bad sign to me . Staff was very friendly. I'll try it again soon read more

What a great find! Took my dog to the vet and noticed the new pizza place next door. Asked the folks at the vet what they thought and they raved about it. While hanging at the pool today we decided to give them a shot and we are so happy we did. Their plain pizza is delicious. The antipasto salad was huge, fresh and so tasty. My wife's chicken and avocado salad was also huge. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Large chunks of avocado and nice crispy bacon. My son had the crispy chicken calzone and can't wait to have it again and my fussy daughter devoured the chicken quesadilla which was enormous. Awesome place!. The food is delicious, pizza's are amazing, as well as the dinners. Try the garlic bread with cheese, best around. Save room for dessert too, homemade donuts and zeppolis with Nutella. Most important, the entire staff, from the owners to the delivery drivers are polite and friendly. Definitely give this place a try. read more

The plaza where it's located isn't all that but once you go inside Luisa's, the plaza will be the last thing on your mind... From the classic pizza scenery with the red and white checkered table cloths to the family pictures on the wall, it's all welcoming! Speaking of welcoming the staff is unbelievable, once you meet the owners Luisa and her husband you automatically feel like you're part of their family! Now to the important part THE FOOD! The food is absolutely delicious I haven't had a bad dish yet and the pizza is just perfect! Try everything and then try it again! $50 for 2 cold pizzas and a small salad. If you're in Ramtown plan on having to heat your pizza up when you get it. Salads are not standard pizzeria size, good for one person. Food wasn't bad once we heated it up but definitely not what you would expect for the price. read more

Disappointed every time I come here, I continue to try and give it a second chance but the food is very inconsistent. Meatball sub was dry, barely any cheese and not a lot of sauce. Pizza tasted like flour sauce was not good at all. read more

I have ordered food from here about 6 times.They have not once gotten my order correct,the prices are outrageous,staff is clueless on how to properly take orders and even if it seems like they got it right,it gets delivered after an extremely long wait,cold and wrong anyway,always with additional items I didn't order and never the correct items.Ive tried to give this place chance after chance as I've met the owners and they seem like nice people but nice people do not make a good business.I will never eat here again nor recommend this place,in fact,I will tell everyone I know to beware of Luisa's Pizza Place,they are a disaster in every way! This is such a great spot! I live a few minutes from here so I have driven past it almost every day so my family and I decided to stop in for dinner and I'm so glad we did! Everything was amazing! I highly recommend the cheese garlic bread. Was the best I ever had. The next time we went in I decided to get the baked ziti which was so amazing . This is now my favorite pizza spot around. And to top it off the whole staff down to the delivery drivers are all so nice! I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Let me say...WOW. Ordered a Luisa's Special Pizza, and all the vegetables were fresh. The Pie was 5 Stars. I drove from the other side of town, and will be back. The owner and employees were extremely friendly, the restaurant was immaculate. I did see many off menu specials on a blackboard and will be looking forward to ordering. read more

The place I have been getting pizza from in Jackson changed owners after 21 years and it showed. Luckily I tried Luisa's. I am so happy because their pizza is great! I only wish I found it sooner. The owner is fantastic by the way. read more

This is NJ Italian at its finest. Great pizza selection and a big menu of the usual options but also including rice bowls, burgers, cheese steaks and wings. Owners have been in the pizza biz for a long time and know what they're doing. (Formerly at Marialinda's in Jackson.) Prices are reasonable for what you get despite some other posts to the contrary. (This ain't Little Caesar's crap!) Friendly staff too. Try it. You wont be disappointed. read more

Delicious food! Friendly staff and owners! (The former Joseph's location.) We had the chicken saltimbocca and shrimp scampi. Both were excellent. Salad and balsamic vinaigrette on the side and fresh bread to soak up the sauce. We wish them Good luck and will definitely be back to give the pizza a try! read more

A new business in an old location and is now the new standard for which all other pizza/Italian restaurants in town should be held against. The ingredients are fresh, the pizza crust is perfect, and there is this dish ... grilled teriyaki chicken over rice bowl ... that is TO. DIE. FOR. Oh, and customer service? Never a problem here. I've been in more times than I'd like to admit and there has never been a bad visit. read more

This place is now in the old Joesph's On New prospect rd. Went there on Sunday bought 6 pies, they were ready on time and hot. Owners are extremely nice. They gave me a couple of slices of different kinds of pizza to try. They make a awesome variety. I'm very impressed and would recommend this place to all of Jackson.
