My friend ordered DoorDash from here and it was not worth it. We got the pasta and meatballs. The sauce is extremely watered down and just doesn't taste good at all. The meatballs are not good. It mainly is the sauce tho. The sauce tastes like the one from canned spaghettios. The bread was good tho and the letttuce was fresh from the salad. Bread was perfect, oil was good. I was hoping it would be better but it wasn't horrible. I'd say, mediocre. We had a bit of a weird experience as well. It was my first (and only) time there so I don't know who is who etc. I asked the gentleman taking our order if the wings were gluten free as they often are. A gentleman that also worked there overheard and said "no they're not" then walks away continuing on with what he was doing. After that, the gentleman taking my order tells me they are gluten free if I order the plain ones which I took to mean traditional (not boneless). He is adamant about it so I figured he knew what he was talking about. I next asked about the sauces he has which can also have gluten, he brings me the sauce containers to look at the ingredients. The sauces are safe so I place 3 orders for wings with different sauces. I get home, open them and they're clearly very breaded (ie, definitely not safe for someone with celiacs/gluten issues). I was so annoyed because we spent so much time going through all of the sauces and the other guy had told him they weren't gluten free but he insisted they were. I called and asked for a refund for them because I couldn't eat them. The gentleman that had initially told me they were not gluten free ended up being the manager. Why on earth would the general worker taking my order go out of his way to give me wrong information when his boss just told him the correct info? I was pretty annoyed about the situation because I was exhausted and hungry. I didn't feel like making phone calls/waiting for anything else to be delivered. The manager was very apologetic on the phone. He said he really didn't know what the general worker was thinking telling me they were gluten free but that it was inexcusable. I did appreciate that he took accountability for the situation. He even put me in the system for a later time to have another meal on them. The other food we ordered -- my boyfriend (who doesn't have a gluten problem) ordered a variety of individual slices to try out a bunch of different ones. He had Buffalo chicken, chicken bacon ranch, baked ziti, and white slices as well as garlic knots. The Buffalo chicken was 5 out of 10. Chicken bacon ranch was a 10 out of 10. White pizza 8 out of 10. Baked ziti was 7 out of 10. He didn't recommend the garlic knots. I had a gluten free pizza and the crust was ... let's just say, not good. I actually think it was the worst one I've ever had but the toppings were very tasty. Gluten free crusts can be rather tricky. I assume most places use frozen ones because it's not feasible to make fresh. I think if they simply went with a different company for the crust it would resolve the issue. I'm going to give them another try soon as I do feel the manager was very genuine and I want to make sure I'm not missing out on a good restaurant based only on one experience. read more

If I order pizza I usually order elsewhere. I prefer cuigunis or palumbos for a good slice. The slices here it tastes like they use fake cheeses it's always undercooked and rubber like texture. But they have good dinners. I order the chicken parmesan dinner often and comes with a side salad and pasta of your choice. The sauce they use for it is good and the chicken cutlets are thin the way I like it. They also have a good Stromboli. I could give a PowerPoint presentation on my issues with the other places but It's probably not appropriate for this review. What I like about Pizza & Pasta Factory The Grandma Pie is unreal. Places like to say "Fresh Plum tomatoes" and they cover the pie in sauce- Not Here, the pie was amazing and made my head spin. What needs work- The plain Pie is Solid but it's 16 inches. Didn't give me the correct change (about $2) and when I notified him, he looked at me told me that's his tip now and walked away to his red Acura. This is a quality go-to Italian place for delivery. A friend of ours recommended Pizza and Pasta Factory and we've ordered delivery from them probably about 10 times now. They are CONSISTENTLY so pleasant on the phone, deliver within a reasonable amount of time, and have a tasty, extensive menu. Most importantly (in my opinion), they are reasonably priced. There are so many pizza/Italian places in Freehold that have hiked their prices so ridiculously high, you'd think they think they're located in NYC. I won't call out any establishment in particular, but for point of reference, there's one in town that charges $25 for a chicken francese dinner (comes with a side salad), and Pizza and Pasta Factory charges $15.95!!!! (Side salad also included). For pizza, P&PF charges $12.50 for a large plain pie. Very, very reasonable!! Speaking of their chicken francese, I really like it and they give you a lot of chicken. I wish they'd give a little more pasta because I typically have enough chicken for 3 meals but only enough pasta for 2. Same thing with their chicken Parmesan. I love their marinara sauce too for their chicken parm! One must-try on your cheat day: Factory Fries. Fries topped with cheese, bacon and seasonings with ranch on the side. So good (but so bad!). You can always tell it's a good pizzaria by the bread they send home w your entrees AND they toast it! The only place I eat my pizza in Freehold Manalapan Marlboro Colts Neck. Everything is delicious and the cannoli's are unreal! My favorite is the white pie with fresh ricotta and broccoli. They never skimp on the broccoli like other places that cut it into small pieces. Another favorite is the chicken cheesesteak hands down amazing. It's also a great price and so filling. If you are in the mood for a pasta the carbonara is sooooo amazing. I wish I could give this place a -5 stars. Last week we ordered a white pizza and it was good. Tonight we ordered two dinners, I had the veal surprise parm dinner, and I say surprise, because I doubt it was real veal. The canned sauce was sour and was absolutely the worst cafeteria style sauce imaginable. I simply can't believe how bad this was, I ate 1/3 and couldn't down more. While I never expected anything comparable, say, to Buena Sera in Red Bank, but this was absolutely way below any expectations. Even the salad dressing was horrible. Given the plethora of pizza parlors in this area, I would strongly suggest to say away, far far far away. The presentation was also not that inviting, and should have been a portend of things to come. Stay away. read more
