Blackened Ahi Tuna and grilled asparagus
    Rachel R.

Stopped in on our way to Ocean City after my husband declared that he hates Cracker Barrel and refuses to eat there. I was skeptical about a strip mall restaurant in sleepy Stevensville despite the positive reviews. We were seated promptly, the bar area was busy but the restaurant was fairly slow. The service was well executed but not especially quick, that would be my only complaint and it is minor. We were dining late with children in tow or I would not have minded the delays at all. The food, despite my fears, was excellent. We started with the crab dip, which was served with warm French bread. The dish was smaller than the $16 price would lead you to expect but filled with crab and comparable to the better crab dips I've had. Our entrees included fish and chips, blackened ahi tuna with asparagus, blackened mahi with baked potato and asparagus and pizza. All dishes were fresh, well-portioned and cooked to perfection. The fish and chips were shared with our mini diners who generally do not appreciate fish but enjoyed their portions. The blackened ahi was served with a creamy wasabi sauce that provided just enough bite to complement the tuna steak. The asparagus was grilled simply and delicious. All in all an unexpected treat and very positive dining experience. We will certainly be returning on future trips through town.

Cream of crab soup. Awesome! Best ever!

This place is a gem. 6 of us ordered a variety of items & everything was fantastic. The best cream of crab soup I ever had. Service was exceptional. Very fast & friendly waitress. Can't wait to come back.

    Blacked ahi tuna sandwich.

Arrived after my niece's dance recital kids got the fish and chips for $5. I got the 8oz blackened ahi tuna sandwich. My son also got a cup of cream of crab. It was served hot, old bay sprinkled on top, big chunks of crab meat-yummy. The tuna was huge.

    Nice bar. Cold beer

Knoxie's Table in Stevensville Maryland! What a gem of a restaurant! A little fancy, a little…read morerelaxed and all very good! The restaurant was hopping. Very crowded and lots of servers, bus people and workers. They were all moving around with great speed, carrying big trays full of food and constantly cleaning up after a table had been vacated. It was like watching some sort of massive choreographed musical number in a Broadway show. Almost every table was full when we arrived. Conservations and laughter rang throughout the restaurant all night. The activity added to the nice ambiance of the busy dining room. The food was very good. I started out with the half and half cream of crab/Maryland vegetable crab soup. Very good! Was it the best I have ever had? Probably not but it has nothing to be ashamed of. Okay, so maybe the thickening agent (flour?) was a bit heavy but I enjoyed the heck out of that soup nonetheless. I ate every drop and wished I had more! My main course was pecan crusted halibut. OMG fantastic! A huge piece of halibut that was perfectly cooked and presented. The sauce was delightfully sweet and savory at the same time. I loved that fish! You know what else I loved at Knoxie's Table? Sarah, our server! She was friendly, talkative, efficient, helpful and really nice to be around. From the moment Sarah introduced herself, she showed us just about the sweetest disposition of anyone I have ever met. And she was a great server on top of that! Thank you, Sarah, for making our dinner at Knoxie's Table a wonderful experience. It is a bit weird to drive over 1 hour to the Eastern Shore to go to a restaurant that is not on the water. Usually, when we drive that far, we are headed to a destination restaurant with beautiful views of the Chesapeake, cool breezes off the water or something to remind ourselves that we are in a different place. Here, in Knoxie's Table, you could be anywhere. You are not on the water, there is no view of a dramatic sunset, you don't see flocks of seagulls agitating each other for a scrap of food. But you go to Knoxie's Table on the strength of the food and, in our case, the luck of having a wonderful server like Sarah. I will have other meals where I see the Chesapeake or smell the fresh air off the Bay. But I will never have a dining experience as perfect as the one I just had at Knoxie's Table. I highly recommend Knoxie's Table to one and all!

My family visited Knoxie's for my Mom's birthday dinner. It's one of the few options on Kent Island…read morethat isn't bar food or a dock bar so I wasn't expecting to be impressed and honestly, I wasn't. The place is huge with indoor and outdoor seated. We were seated at a spacious booth. Service was touch and go throughout the night. We ordered a bottle of red wine and two glasses of albariño. It took about 30 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks and when they did arrive, the server had given us rosé instead of albariño. I knew by looking at it that this was not what I had ordered so I asked if it was albariño. He insisted it was but I knew it wasn't by the look, smell, and taste. He eventually came back about 10 minutes later with the correct pours. By that point, we were starving so we put all our food in at once to hopefully speed things up. We ordered the parmesan fries, pierogies, crab dip, and beet salad to start. We also each got entrees including the shrimp and grits, crab cakes, steak, and white fish (I think it was branzino?). The appetizers were all delicious - the fries were consumed quickly and the crab dip, although not very crab meat forward, had nice flavor. They provided GF crackers as well but the dip could've used some carrots or celery too. The beet salad wasn't bad either. The entrees came out quickly before we could even finish our apps. Our order definitely was not paced correctly. The flavor of my shrimp and grits was good though and it had a surprisingly nice kick to it. We also ordered dessert - a key lime pie and ice cream(?) if I'm remembering correctly. What I do remember is that the ice cream came out quickly and the key lime pie took forever. It was weird to have our two desserts come out separately and by the time the other one arrived, the first one was already finished, making it a bit awkward. I think if the service and pace of the meal had been improved, this would've easily been 4 stars. I'm not sure if our server was new or what but the clunky service overshadowed the quality of the food. I will also mention that the check came out to about $450. A little steep but I guess that's to be expected with seafood and wine.

There's something about the water, the breeze, and the quiet charm of this area that settles your spirit in the best way. A good friend of mine lives on Kent Island, and honestly, the best way to visit Bridges is by boat. Pulling up to a restaurant by water just hits differently. But don't worry you can absolutely drive here too, and the experience is just as lovely. Restaurants by the water are always a plus, but Bridges brings more than a view. It brings that easy, coastal energy that makes you want to slow down, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy where you are. The kind of place where good food, good company, and good scenery all meet at the same table. Bridges Restaurant brings exactly what you hope for when you escape the city for a moment of calm; beauty, peace, and a reminder that life feels better by the water. Service is always great! I literally said this past weekend that this has to become a monthly occurrence! It's too good and too beautiful to just come once a year! Let's get into it! Stuffed Pepper - Amazing!! Thanks to the waitress for hyping these up. Seafood Tacos - Delicious! I would definitely get these again and would try the Mahi Mahi kind or whatever fish they have! So freaking good! Brought Hawaii Maui vibes back. Ancho Rockfish - Fish was excellent, grits were not a fave. Watermelon refresher - YES! These are dangerously good! I'll be back! And soon! Cheers! The hostess and waitress were so kind, friendly, and accommodating! They brought out a water bowl for our dog. We ordered the whole oysters flash fried (special of the day), the shrimp and grits, and the shrimp salad sandwich with island fries (upgraded for 3.50). The oysters were fantastic. Freshly fried and super juicy. We loved them. Our sandwich and shrimp&grits took a while to get to us, but worth the wait. The shrimp in the grits were massive. My husband couldn't finish it all. The shrimp salad was stellar. And the brioche bun went so well. I will say the island fries had a spice we didn't love. The queso dip it came with was good. Didn't love the chili aioli it came with. It was weirdly sweet. I'd probably stick to the regular fries next time. Service is a little slower than were use to, but it definitely fit the vibe of the area. Just low key and relaxing. We would definitely come back!

In fact, the dining areas for the restaurant were a lot larger than what I expected. The restaurant has a pretty extensive menu, so everyone should be able to find something that they'll like. Relative to other places, I thought the prices were fine - not super cheap, but not expensive. The restaurant also has a nice list of various frozen and regular cocktails. Overall, service was great in that our waitress made some great recommendations and check in on us a few times during our meal. The waitress did not go wrong in recommending the shrimp tacos. I was hoping for three tacos instead of two, but the portion size of the tacos were packed so I guess two tacos are fine. Overall, we a nice time at The Jetty and hope do visit again after Matapeake Park. Oh, I almost forgot to add that the The Jetty is very dog-friendly.

The crabs here are size designated by the size of the shell. Not by weight. The weight different DRASTICALLY. I'd read other reviews that said the jetty does not give af if you let them know the crabs are light/basically empty. And service was spotty so no one came to check anyway But dang one of my crabs barely had more meat on the inside than the claws of the other crabs. Sigh. I also felt like the seasoning was not as heavily old bay as I'd prefer. But great waterside dining? Easy parking. Would not return unless we had the dog with us. The dog enjoyed her hamburger patty.
