This is my first time coming and the ambiance and vibes were very urban and relaxing but I don't think I would come back. The service was great but unfortunately the food was very mid. I got a chicken chipotle wrap and also a burger and fries. The chicken wrap was a 6 at best, lacked flavor and was nothing really special. The burger was a bit dry and lacked any wow factor as well. The fries seemed to be undercooked. For 28 dollars I did expect much more but would honestly I would rather have a BJs burger. Overall this is the kind of food you eat when the opportunity is presented but not the kind to go out of your way for. read more

Luke's is located on the upper floor of the building with inside and outside dining. It is a relaxing place to have a excellent dinner, drinks or just have appetizers. The service is wonderful, the staff are friendly and make wonderful recommendations. This is not the cheapest place in town but the food and experience is well worth it. Located off Old Town Front St in Temecula. The place is on the 4th floor so you have go around the side you should see the sigh up above and enter through the door for the elevator to the 4th floor. Once inside you are greeted by the hostess. They have a bar area that has seating outdoors you get the view of the town. Came here for a surprise Birthday for my college fraternity brother. We were in a separate room next to the bar. The staff here was friendly , helpful and great. The bartenders were great as well had a great whisky sour. The food was good they were cooked and made when scheduled to eat they had an agenda with everything by times and when meals are served since it was a party. The appetizer and meals were like buffet style you go and pick and choose it was all good my favorite appetizers were the Brussels sprouts , and the fried chicken bites were good. For the main the steak was yummy, the battered chicken was good the empanadas were good and the pasta was good. Desserts were like cookies , little brownie muffins , cake pops, and other types of sweet treats. Then they brought us little crème brûlée omg those were so good. Overall had a great time celebrating my buddy's birthday and seeing and hanging with some college fraternity brothers as well I'd come here more often if it was closer to me had a great experience with the staff and food. read more

I typically would not select this venue based on my previous inconsistent visits. There are so many wonderful places to visit in Old Town, but Luke's does have beautiful views from their upstairs dining space/balcony. I happened to be here last week for a friend's birthday and had such a wonderful visit. I have to credit it though to our server Sofia. She made our experience exceptional. It's one of my friends' favorite places to dine in for special occasions in the Old Town Temecula area. It was busy for a Monday night. Sofia was so attentive and so friendly. She even offered to hold our friend's cake in their kitchen. Gave us some wonderful recommendations. Our meals and drinks were served promptly. All the entrees I saw my friends order looked delicious. Their portions are generous here. I tried their ahi poke appetizer as a light meal and the ahi poke and seasoning was delicious. I loved that they serve it with fried wonton crisps. Their steamed rice was a bit off the mark (very soggy) and I'd probably ask for no rice next time, maybe opt for a vegetable/lettuce substitute if possible. My cocktail was delicious and I wish I could remember what I'd ordered, had a quirky name (maybe it was the "Bad Mom's Something" cocktail). Had dinner with family at Luke's on Black Friday. I made reservations a week before cause we had a large party. Our waitress Paige did an amazing job with our party of 10. She was friendly, approachable and attentive. She made our dining experience a 5 star. As far as food goes it was ok. I was expecting it to be much better based on their reviews. But we did eat everything we ordered, my son and nephews mentioned that the burgers were delicious. I ordered the rib-eye that came with veggies. The steak was a good size but the veggies were very little amount. Portions are not balanced. The place was really loud so we couldn't hear each other to have a conversation but that's my fault for picking a rooftop restaurant that's looks more of a bar than a restaurant. I don't recommend it for large groups. I think I would have enjoyed it more if we weren't such a big group. read more

I came in for dinner on a slow weekday. There was one other couple in the restaurant. The server was polite. The food was good. I had the pasta with salmon. I recommend it. However, I would not come back. The entire dining experience felt rushed. If there was not enough time to order and enjoy the meal, the hostess should've mentioned that when asked. Stacking chairs and constantly reminding me to wrap it up while there's a fork in my hand, takes away from the experience. So for months, I have been trying to figure out why this has been the go to spot for my bf and his boys after golf on Friday afternoons, and after coming here with my girls this past Saturday evening, I can see why... For (1) the food is absolutely incredible... I had the ahi tuna taco and the seafood pasta & it may have been the best seafood pasta I've EVER had. (2) Every server and bartender is complete eye candy. At first I was a bit annoyed coming in, but by the end of the night I became besties with all the bartenders. Horrible dining experience and extremely disrespectful customer service. The 2 female waiters were horribly rude. We waited for ketchup for over one hour by the time we asked the third time our food was cold. We couldn't get drinks because we were told our waiter had 10 other tables to wait on. Tried to discuss why we were over charged for items we didn't receive and our waiter became very hostile and aggressive. It was my birthday and it was the worst dining experience. Not to mention my party of 10 paid well over $150 in gratitudy to our waiter that was too busy to bring us drinks until we were almost done with our meals. We spent well over $500 on food and was treated with disrespect and given all the excuses in the world and never an apology. My advice to any patron wanting to visit this establishment please go elsewhere, be smart and take your money elsewhere as Luke's On Front doesn't respect, value, or appreciate their customers! read more

This is a staple in Old Town Temecula! Located on the 4th floor, with indoor and outdoor seating with open air and a cool breeze. Bar area has outside patio seating and they have heaters for the chilly winter months. They brought back happy hour (hallelujah!) after the chaos of COVID. I have been coming here for 10+ YEARS and it is still one of my favorite places in Temecula! We came in for a Monday lunch. I've heard the restraint is usually very busy and hard to get into, so this was a great time to come in if you've been wanting to try it out! The place had a very casual vibe, but I could see how the ambiance would be nice at night time for a more upscale dinner. I liked that it was upstairs and had some nice views of downtown Temecula. The decor was a bit busy though which obstructed the view a bit. Possibly because of the Christmas decorations though. The service was very friendly and relaxed, but it did take a little longer than expected to get our drinks and entrees. A very casual service style. We ordered a cup of the artichoke bisque which was a huge portion. The soup was a bit heavy but it had a great flavor and the crunchy focaccia for dipping was perfect. For lunch I got the blackened chicken sammie, which wasn't on their printed menu but I saw it online and they were able to make it for me. The ciabatta was so soft and the sandwich had a great spicy flavor. I got the loaded twisted cauli Mac as my side and I wish I would have just opted for the fries. The Mac needed seasoning and the addition of the cauliflower was just kind of strange and out of place. But my friend got the fries and they were thin and crispy and delicious. Overall the food was very good, but the prices are pretty high so this wouldn't be something I recommend for an everyday lunch spot. But to treat yourself to a really great meal, I highly recommend. read more

Went to Luke's with friends after a show at The Old Town Temecula Community Theater. Really liked the vibe with the open doors on the rooftop patio on such a beautiful evening! It was hot outside when we got there, so we sat inside but still got to enjoy an "outdoor" experience :-) We shared the ceviche appetizer served with tortilla chips. It was served super cold and fresh with lots of flavor. Large enough for 4 to share. For dinner, 2 of us shared the Wham Bam Thank You Jam burger with fries. There was alot going on flavor-wise, but not overpowering. We could still taste all of the great ingredients. A really, really tasty burger. Also ordered the Seared Ahi Salad and Finney Philley Rib Eye Sandwich. Both delicious and large portions. Great food and service -- a lovely experience! read more

Let me start with the good news. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very good and attentive. We enjoy the environment. They did have a small Happy Hour menu. One of the items was well drinks for $8. That was reasonable to me. Now for the not so good as well as what I interpret as lying. The not so good is that the calamari for $16 was very small and very dry in overcooked. The lying was that I ordered a Happy Hour well bourbon and was told they did not have a designated well bourbon and a bartender named off several bourbons. I picked one and enjoyed two of them while we were there. It was after we had paid the bill and left that I learned that while they have no designated well bourbon hey alternative she named were all $6 more than the happy hour price. I was never informed of this. I was never told that while they did not have a well bourbon all they had were other bourbons for a higher cost. This is what I call lying. read more

Drinks are absolutely terrible and overpriced 4 drinks= $50. They have no dishwasher to clean they're dishes and all they're food comes in frozen. How do you have two tall, Tokyo tea, drinks, and walk out sober, come to find out they put water in your drinks and they barely put alcohol in your cup. This place is a joke. The wro g dish was brought out. Kate quickly realized the error and rushed over before it could be ate. This was a great heads up by Kate. Kate and the manager were very apologetic and went above and beyond to make it right. The food was great and they make a phenomenal Old Fashion. Was having a girls night out last night and haven't been to Luke's in a long time so decided to stop by and have a drink and snacks at the bar with friends.... We were completely ignored when sitting down and we waited a long time before anyone took our order. Even after we got our drinks neither bartender checked in if we wanted food or another drink when our glasses were empty... they had their backs to us most of the time... in the end we had to ask the bar back for our checks.... And we sat waiting for someone to take our cards. So again We had to ask the bar back to close us out. I work in customer service and I understand you get busy but the bar wasn't full and there were two bartenders working... won't be going back anytime soon. It's sad because it is a prime location and could be so much better. read more

I take my son here often. We always have the best service ever! The food is super awesome and I always recommend the charcuterie platter. The meatloaf is awesome as well. The owners are so nice and I appreciate that they are always onsite. The servers and other employees have always been so nice to me and my children. The ambience is amazing because you can pick an indoor or outdoor seat/table. I've been in the the accessible event room many times. They have a patio and outdoor fire pit.
