The nicest best lululemon store EVER!!!! Staff is insanely amazing kind friendly. Love going bc of staff!!!

As a first-time Lululemon customer, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I purchased a sweater that was very expensive, and when I got home I realized the security tag had not been removed at checkout. This is a basic step that should never be missed, especially for a high-end brand like Lululemon. To make matters worse, I live about an hour away from the store. This mistake now requires me to make an extra trip solely because of an employee oversight, which is very inconvenient and time-consuming. With gas, traffic, and my personal schedule, this is not a small inconvenience. I called the store to address the issue and spoke with the manager. While the manager apologized, that was the extent of the response. This was not my mistake, and simply apologizing does not make up for the inconvenience, time, and effort this has caused me--especially as a first-time customer. When customers are paying premium prices, they expect careful attention to detail and a smooth checkout experience. I feel that some form of compensation should have been offered, given that this situation was entirely avoidable and due to staff oversight. Employees should be more careful when handling expensive merchandise. This experience left me frustrated and disappointed, and it has definitely impacted my first impression of the brand. read more

STAY AWAY - AWFUL customer service. They NEVER answer the phone or call you back. Their tailor did not alter the pants as promised when I made the purchase. I bought the pants ONLY because they promied that the jogger cuff would be retained. I made the second long trip to the store to pick up the pants and did not check to see that they had been properly altered. They completely messed up the altering job. Their AI webite tells me that I am out of luck because it was a final purchase - even though the store screwed the pants up. No one, at the central cutomer service number or at the store has returned calls or emails. I am out almost $110 because I too thought the store was nice and well organizied and the staff was pleasant. Huge, huge, mistake from a high end brand that promises more than they are willing to deliver. read more

Staff was rude and kept on rolling their eyes. They made us feel very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. We had no idea that the store closed at 7pm because the site reflected that the store closes at 8 pm on Sundays and 9 pm Mondays to Saturdays. No one even approached up to tell us that they were closing but instead they just kept on giving us nasty looks. I asked what the original price is from one of the sale items and they told me that they dont know in a very derogatory and rude tone. Not being too familiar with this brand, I was even luckier to get the help of Jasmine, who suggested perfect options based on my descriptions of the recipients' preferences and general sizes. With her expert help, I quickly found everything I needed. Though the store was busy, the cashiers were efficient and the lines weren't too bad. Wow! I didn't realize that there was a Lulu so close to me. I usually travel to Orange County because the ones in my area never have the good stuff. I was in a bit of a rush so I looked for the closest Lululemon to me,found that it was just one five minutes away. I had a warm welcome by Josh he let me know if there is anything I was looking for or anything he can help me with. I began browsing and he mentioned that there was a lot of new things in store. I just walked into the l Lululemon located at The Pointe in El Segundo. The store just opened which meant there were plenty of representatives available. Not one person said hello or greeted me as I entered the store. Not a big deal, but when I selected my item and went to the register, the sales associates felt as though it was more important to finish their personal conversations with each other, then to ring me up. I quietly put my item away and walked out of the store. Still no one said, " is there anything I can help you with ". Very sad and disappointing. Lululemon's customer service is totally horrid. I had to return a pair of pants that I received as a gift (because I got two pair of the same color). I went to the Lululemon website and followed the directions for a return. After I filled everything out and asked that the person who gave me the gift be credited back the cost of the gift (because Lululemon can't do exchanges online), one of my options to return the gift was to drop it off at one of their stores. Since there are several stores near me, I chose that option. When I went to the store to drop off the return I discovered that, even though I had requested that the card used to buy the gift be credited back, I was told that they could not do that unless I could show them the card (which of course I couldn't do since I did not buy the gift) and that my only option was to get a gift card (which I totally did not need or want). W.T.F! Why did they offer the store drop off option if they couldn't credit back the purchaser's card? Total BS and horrible customer service if you ask me. read more

I usually love this location but today... I came to pick up an order the store placed for me from online about a month ago. They go back and forth to check their inventory for couple minutes and then concluded that the item is lost in transaction with FEDEX. They looked annoyed at me that they don't know what to do next.... Then the associate tells me that I need to call FEDEX or their customer service line to see if they can refund me after saying out loud to her colleague "they put you on hold forever". I replied by asking she please do her job and call the number to inquire. End of story, can't refund me for now... wait for fed ex to respond where the package is... what a waste of time read more

This is a great Lululemon store, super friendly employees and wonderful sale items. My bf found yet another shirt to go with all of his pants and casual attire. He got me hooked on their leggings which I wear all the time. Expensive but great material if you wash on the delicate cycle. Ben, the store manager or acclaimed store manager is the worst example of customer service. Lululemon prides itself on offering high quality fitness attire, supreme customer service, and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Lululemon is a lifestyle brand. I purchased an item at a Lululemon pop-up store in San Clemente. The item was marked and tagged the wrong size. Knowing I purchased an item at a pop-up store my expectation was NOT to get free merchandise but to exchange it for the right size (the items are still sold in normal retail stores). The error in tagging, was not my (the consumers fault). I had both the item, unworn, and the receipt. Rather than correct an issue by kindly exchanging the item for a comparable item (different color) Ben offered me credit and the option to purchase the exact same item for $25 more. Ben YOU'RE absurd. An even exchange lasting a total of 2 minutes and costing the organization nothing (since the item I had still retails in the store front) would have quickly resolved the issue. But not Ben, he refused. Resulting in me having to reach out to Customer Support for over 2 hours to resolve the issue and for them to send me the correctly sized item. HOW IS BEN EVEN EMPLOYED AT LULULEMON??? I, along with others, have held Lululemon to a high standard for both the quality of clothing and customer service they have provided similar to a Nordstrom or Trader Joe's experience. I was in utter shock by the service provided by Ben. If you go there, avoid Ben and his lack of emotional intelligence to uphold and reflect the values of the high end brand. read more

I have to agree with reviews regarding the terrible treatment of people of color when going into this store. It's so blatant. This was my second visit and same experience. I even spaced out the visits to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a fluke. My friend who is Caucasian decided to test out my theory. Although we came together she decided to enter the store a little after me. The employees provided a warm greeting and smiles. When I entered it was as if I was invisible. It's sad that it seems to be part of the culture at this store and it's shameful. Rest assured I will not be back here or to any other Lululemon for that. Upon looking through my closet, I came to the not so shocking realization that most everything in there is Lululemon! I pretty much have every Define jacket and yoga pant in every color and pattern known to man. Since moving to LA from Atlanta 11 years ago, I traded in my silk business suits for all Lulu casual attire. And the transition from day to nighttime fun simply requires a change of shoes - from flip flops to stilettos while keeping the sleek, high waisted, partially sheer black yoga pants with a crop top and I'm good to go! I'm shocked at the versatility of their product. While the clothing may appear expensive, I have yet to throw out one item as the quality is pretty top notch despite wearing it ragged in sweaty workouts and nights out on the town! I may be your stereotypical, West LA middle-aged female, walking around daily in yoga pants and wedge flip flops, but I'm damn happy about it - and super comfortable too! Even though this store is a bit further for me than the Santa Monica one, I love the easy parking; sizable store; new, outdoor shopping complex and friendly employees who are accessible and helpful every time. I did visit once during this Covid time, and I was rather impressed with the precautions that are being taken to ensure the safety of customers and employees including limiting the number of people in the store at one time and wiping down the checkout area between each and every sale. Lululemon is a top notch shopping experience for me, and my husband loves the outfits too (on me, that is!) One can't beat the comfortable, fashionable, flattering, quality workout to street attire better than Lululemon! read more

Plus: - long lasting material - excellent detail work - practical (little detail pockets, reversible, breatheable, etc.) - fashionable (you can wear outside gym) - bold bright sporty colors - free alterations - great accessories (love their gym bags) Cons: - expensive (to me it's worth it) - some of their tight pants could give women "camel toe" Overall, Lulu is the best of the best. The clerk was helpful in helping me to understand more about their products and warranties - if something malfunctions they will gladly do a complimentary repair. The store is located inside the Manhattan Beach Plaza. Some of the items that they sell; scarfs, jackets, tanks, shorts, sports caps, skirts, pants, sports bras, handbags, gloves, underwear, bodysuits, yoga attire both men and women items are sold here. I spoke with Lululemon customer service and they shared I could come in store to return or send an email. Upon my arrival, the employee went to do the return then the manager came. The manager said she could not do the return without the tag attached, which was not indicated by customer service. The manager was rude and kept explaining the lululemon system to me. When I asked about options of how to accomplish the price adjustment, she did not provide any. She would not provide her name when I asked, likely because of the horrible customer service she provided as she "didn't feel comfortable." I've spent a lot of money in this store and after this horrible experience, I will not be. Do better! read more

Went to the store and waited in line for more than 30 min to buy some clothing. I left without my purchase and with about 10 people remaining in line ahead of me. They didn't offer more checkouts but had plenty of staff to walk the store, just not check people out! Such a horrible experience. I will NEVER return. read more
