Over all a great store and very friendly. Wife loves the stuff so I do get her stuff from time to time and lately its been online. Returns or exchanges are very easy if you got from the store or online as long as its within the 14 days of reciept. As Sana P. said they do need a better system of answering the phones as I have called as well to check on a size and 85% of the time I get voicemail too. This place is not easy to find! It's under construction, and there's no sign outside to show. Lucky for cell phones, and with a little help from the store, I was able to find it. It's not a cheap store, but I do like the fit of their fitted jacket. No, I'm not a twig like most Lulu customers. I occassionally do yoga, but I can barely do a correct stand. My sister was the one who introduced me to their clothes (well I saw her jacket and liked it) but unlike her, I don't wear a 2, but a 8. The Forme II jacket is very comfortable, and actually warm. I took my slate blue jacket to Germany and with a turtleneck or even a tshirt underneath, was kept quite warm... even with out a parka. The staff was very friendly, and a few girls chatted with me on size, for, etc. They gave me their two cents about which color they thought was better for me, and I walked away with my second Forme II jacket. Prior to this location, I've been to the Irvine store. This one is laid out better but with the remodeling, things are cramped and hard to find. Hopefully after the remodel, it'll be new and improved. For the frugal finders, they do have a sales rack. Slim pickings usually, but its a bit cheaper than full price (which isn't cheap). read more

We were heading home from Disney and my daughter wanted to get her first pair of aligns (I am a lulu hoarder already) so this shop was en route from the 405. We got lucky that it was doing a Black Friday sale (minus her aligns) so she grabbed a pair of aligns, WU and a Pivot tank. I was able to grab a tank and Swiftly shirt. along with our 15% military discount, we scored a good deal. The gentleman (Asian) who helped us was fast and friendly! So I was there today as I write this down. I got some pretty shady experience. I go to this location a few times a month since I travel for work. As I was exchanging my items, who seem to be the manager came to the person who was helping me out in the register. This manager seemed like she wanted to say something to the educator helping me, but not directly in front of me. Then the person who was helping me was like it's a "return and purchase" to the manager. Then the manager next to her was like "You were just here last time" in a tone where she was questioning me being there. I didn't like her to begin with even during my previous encounters. She was nicer to the Caucasian people but seems like so-so to the ones like me, with a darker skin tone. I almost asked her to search my bag coz it seems like she was trying to convey a message. I left the store thinking I would never EVER go back to this place! Every time I go to my yoga sessions I end soaking wet. That's why I come here often because I need tons of outfits. I have their tops, bras, yoga pants, jackets, headbands. I came to the store on a busy Sunday evening thinking i wouldn't be acknowledged but 3 specific employees went out of their way to not only greet me but also meet all of my needs. One was an Asian boy -- Calvin? One was mixed, maybe part asian?, and the third was a tall curly haired boy who was full of life. These three employees facilitated a unique yet helpful experience that allowed me to purchase the right products for my girlfriends birthday, which she absolutely loved. By the way, if you're looking for a wide selection of markdowns, pay a visit to lululemon at The Americana at Brand store. At times, sales associates attentiveness here is hit or miss. There were times where I've walked into this location and gone unnoticed the entire visit. To contrast, my two most recent visits here were fantastic, engaging, and productive. Should any garment require alteration or repair, lululemon's complimentary service will make appropriate adjustments and typically have your garment back in your possession within 3 business days. I also like how they do free alterations on the clothes here so they fit just right. Also, the bags they give out.. are the reusable plastic bags. How cool is that? If it wasn't for Lulu I don't think I would be an active person. I would be sitting on the computer and playing lots of games not wanting to go outside. But when you wear clothes that fit just right and have the motivation to do even better, you really strive and dig deep. I'm so glad that I found a store that will sell everything I need from gym bags, hiking back packs, yoga mats and of course the clothes. You can not go wrong with the selection. They have pants, crops, skirts, shorts and different styles and colors. This place is like a girls dream come true!! I love how they also use reusable bags instead of plastic. Saving the environment is awesome! If you need any help they have tons of staff walking around and they will of course be more then happy to help. I've tried to call the store a handful of times to check on an item in stock. Each time, the phone would go to voicemail. I tried again this morning and same thing. I finally just went to the store and found one of the two items I was looking for. At check out, I commented to the woman (cashier 19010051000008) that no one answers their phone. Her response is that they're really busy sometimes and can't get to it. Then she went on to say that I should just leave a voice mail because they check for messages at the beginning and end of the day. Umm, hello, aren't you a freakin' retail store?! What kind of customer service is that, esp. for a store that offers yoga classes and a run club. I presume people call during the day w/ questions and to not answer the phone and at least put the person on hold or get info to call back is not what I'd expect from a store that charges $58+ for work-out tops. On the flip side, I called the Brentwood location, which answered promptly with a friendly voice. read more

I was having lunch nearby and some Lululemon employees appeared with $20 gift cards for the sake of happiness and gratitude. I of course took this as a sign to treat myself to my first pair of pants that I had been putting off for a year plus, because priorities, and adulting. This store was so welcoming, and really so kind. The associates helped me find the appropriate pants for what I was looking for (lululemon speed tight iv). They even helped me find the appropriate size in various colors. As a size 2, their smallest size (which is their xxs), were a little under stocked. *Thankfully the pair of pants my eyes locked on were exactly my size. I'm not sure if size 2s are a hot item, or if someone just had a great shopping day, but it's worth noting. I now know should I feel the urge to splurge, which store to return to purely for customer service. read more

I can't get into the details here...let's just say, my husband almost died while shopping here (I am totally exaggerating) and basically the manager Carrie totally took care of us. She was very concerned and professional and we are happy customers. End of story. Lululemon is pricey, pricey, pricey but you get quality. I'm going to be honest... this review is for the FREE yoga class since I can't afford anything here. I haven't done yoga in a while and think I should really get back into it, although I never really liked it in the past. Though this place is a slightly far from me, I think it's really worth it. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the instructor but she was great! We went through a a pretty intense hour with lots of core, balance, and stretches. She used terms that yoga people already know, but you can totally follow along by watching other people. The instructor also came around and helped you if you allowed her to. Overall, I definitely want to come back every week and they even provide yoga mats! Come 10 minutes early to find a spot because it gets pretty full! Namaste! read more

I initially started wearing Lulu as "weekend mom" clothes, because chasing two kids is like a non-stop work out. But, it's now become a staple in my wardrobe. I wear it to the gym, work (tanks are good for layering under sheer blouses and they occasionally have cute work appropriate skirts), lounge wear--especially on vacation. It's definitely pricy (average $50-$120 per piece) but they stand behind their products, offer free hemming and the clothing is made of sturdy fabrics that are soft and well-constructed. The El Segundo location is the only one I've ever shopped at and service is pretty good. I like that there is always parking, plenty of sales associates so you're never waiting very long to check out or when you just have a question and they are friendly and helpful. Love that they use reusable shopping bags. I'm not a fan of their return policy though--14 days for a refund or exchange. No other options after that. And, all sales items are final. read more

Every time I've been here, the lulu ladies have been super helpful in finding me the right item or size. I was in last week to pick up an outfit, and when the top I wanted wasn't available in my size in the color I wanted, they were able to arrange for free shipping to my house. I love Lululemon! This location would have to be the worst service Lululemon!I purchased a pair of yoga pants online as they did not have that style available in store. I am 5'2 and I went in and asked them if I could get them hem, I produced my receipt etc.. and the lady said, these aren't designed to be hem, they are meant to bunch up on the bottom. I politely told her I understand, I've had this style previously and they had always hemmed them for me, as the "bunching up" was way too much... the lady refused and left me in the changing room and went on to help others. One of probably the worst lululemon stores. I'm a pretty avid lululemon shopper and have been to quite a few and this by far is my least liked store. Almost every single time I come here i am never greeted. I can literally be browsing next to a worker or 2 and they'll make eye contact look at me then look away without saying a word but the caucasian person about 2 feet away from me will receive a cheerful greeting. This happens almost every single time. A lot of times I have to stand and wait to interrupt coworkers chit chatting for a fitting room. Seriously this always happens and every other lululemon i go too I never receive such bad service. Honestly never coming back to this location again. Definitely feel the discrimination and judgment here. read more

I have always been curious about Lululemon and their products. I came here with my boyfriend because I wanted to exchange a pair of pants that he bought me. When we walked in I wasn't sure where to go and I wasn't sure who to ask because everyone was dressed similarly. There wasn't anything that I could see that discerned whether a person worked there or not unless I stared closely enough to see a headset or badge or whatever they have. I found the pants that I wanted to try on and stood in the fitting room area for a few minutes waiting for someone to assign me a room. One employee was helping someone else, but saw me and didn't flag anyone else down. Another was there tidying up but didn't say anything until I asked if she worked there. She showed me to a room and that was the end of our interaction. From the fitting room, I could hear the employees greeting other people, checking up on them, and being generally cordial to them as they tried clothes on in other rooms. No one checked on me. When I finished I went out to put some pants away, but stood near the shelves to see if I wanted a different style. Still...no one came by to see if I needed help. INSTEAD as I stood there an employee who was helping someone else stood in front of me to explain the products. I squeezed between them to put the pants back. I ushered my bf to get out of there before I said something I would regret to one of the employees. At the register the cashier said that I owed 26 cents for the exchange. Why...it was a straight exchange. She said that whoever bought the pants probably bought it somewhere else with a different tax so we owed money. My bf interjected and said that HE bought the pants THERE at the same store. The cashier looked again and realized she owed us the change. I expected better from Lululemon. While I didn't buy the pants myself, don't assume that the only way I can have your products is if someone gifted it to me. Just because I don't frequent the store or look like your typical customer doesn't mean you can treat me like I'm invisible. I don't need your business, you need mine. read more

I will NEVER walk in this store again. It was my first time there, the guy and girl in the back were very helpful and informative about the different styles and what not. They also kept checking on us which was great. My friend and I decided on a couple of things. I get the the register and the girl says "hi, blah blah blah" I answer. She tells me my total, I pull out my DEBIT card and she says "is that a gift card" I say "no DEBIT", she then said "credit?" I got upset and looked at her again and said DEBIT! I don't know what she was implying? Maybe that I could afford LuLu's ? Made me feel completely uncomfortable. At that point I didn't even want to buy my things because she made an assumption. All my work out clothes are from here they are so comfortable. People here are so nice and if you have questions about their clothing they will be very happy to assist you . The quality its awesome.its not good news when you are about to pay :/ I have a friend who also works out and buys all her stuff from here and i couldnt understand why til i went to the store and purchased one pant and 1 top and thats how i got hooked and went crazy with all their work out clothing . I went into the store today and was met with nothing but obvious pettiness and unprofessionalism by all the employees in the store sadly. The majority of the staff being white, they were rude and weren't any help at all when asked if they can help with a problem I had with my order. Was told to call myself in the store with all the employees standing around listening to me try and fix what was going on with my order and can obviously tell they weren't pleased by me standing there waiting for help over the phone. Something so simple that they could've done but had me do when I could've just done that myself at home which was the whole reason why I even visited the store to begin with was to get help with an order. Besides that while shopping could obviously tell by their demeanor they weren't at all pleased to want to help as soon as I walked in. Completely uncomfortable and awkward. Noticed them acting the same with other ppl that didn't fit their "customer preference". Even the the manger showed zero interest in helping. Always this problem when going to this location. First of MANY incidents I'm writing a review on for this location. Don't have this problem anywhere else. Do better. If I could give 0/5 I would but since I can't 1 will do. read more

The general feel about this store is upbeat but all the sales associates act super busy and pretend to fold or arrange stuff while you wait to be helped . I purchased a gym bag and a running jacket , both items were considerably over priced but it was one of those days for me. The lady that checked me out stuffed my newly purchased jacket into the newly purchased gym bag and after ringing me up she handed me my gym bag with the receipt and jacket stuffed into it!! I had to ask her to kindly put the items purchased in a shopping bag instead of handing them to me in my hands ... The most awkward shopping experience ever! Went in to trying to purchase workout attire, but the staff made me feel so uncomfortable. As I'm going throughout the store trying to look at merchandise, one of the employees kept hovering over me. I would turn a corner and she would be looking at me. I lift up a sleeve and she'd be peeking at me from another display. I feel the employees here discriminate based on customers' looks, and they treat you like a criminal if they don't think you have money to afford the items. I really do love the brand and the quality of their items, but the staff are a big turn off. Two thumbs down all the way around. Check out the Santa Barbara branch, though. They're beyond helpful and make you feel welcome, like any retail store should. read more

I'm torn about this store.... They sell some of the highest quality dance/yoga clothing I have ever used and if cloths last the 5 years the tag promises then it's a worth while investment. So where's my reservation... the price (duh!) and the staff... The staff start as friendly and then after making my purchase crossed the line into creepy... I know they're selling a whole life style thing but really I don't want to be mobbed by the staff asking me questions about my life and interests as I'm trying to exist the store.... I generally dismiss poor customer service complaints on Yelp, as I realize it's only one component of a store/restaurant experience. I also set expectations-- this store is on the outskirts of the South Bay and a little higher-priced athletic wear. I've been in numerous times to the El Segundo location and have had assistants with attitudes ranging from friendly to annoyed. This week, however, I had a lackluster experience at Lululemon. The sales associate didn't know the products beyond her section; therefore, looked at me like I was an idiot asking her questions about the difference among the speed tights when she walked me to that store area. I realize I look young for my age, but I was shown a general condescending, holier-than-thou attitude from the associate. I'm unsure if associates get commission, but her attempt to help was forced, immature, and sub-par. Overall: I will only return as a last resort. read more

I love love love lululemon althletica gear. It is definitely the most comfortable and best fitting athletic attire for women, at least from the brands that I've worn it is. Not only is it extremely comfortable and good for any type of exercise, from running to yoga, zumba to weight lifting, lululemon has got you covered! The only reason I give the store a 3 instead of 4 star review is because it is just so gosh darn pricey! I know many women love this because it means that not everyone will be wearing it and everyone will know that they have the money to spend when they see them wearing this brand but I just think it's a little too much to spend on clothes that I'm going to drench in sweat. Plus I just like shopping for cute shoes, dresses and purses too much :) When I'm making bank in a few years though I'm sure I won't work out in anything but lululemon :) read more

Then when I'm trying on clothes, the girl in the fitting rooms helps me with my size. I went to purchase my cute new shorts and was waiting behind one person. The product is amazing, but this is a review of the service I've received in this particular store. There are a few outstanding people who work here. However, on several occasions I have been standing around waiting for assistance while the employees totally ignore me. I knew that I was unhappy with this level of service, but I wasn't compelled to write a review until my most recent negative experience with some pants that needed to be hemmed. It's wonderful that lululemon will hem pants for free, and they will do this at any time during the life of the garment. So I had 2 pairs of calf-length pants that I wanted to be knee-length, and I took them in to be altered. Michelle was supposed to be helping me with this, but she was so sour, unhelpful, and generally rude. It was an odd contrast to the enthusiasm she shows when trying to sell me something by telling me how cute it looks. I never received a call to tell me that the pants were ready to be picked up. I had to call them myself to find out. Another employee nearly ran me over while she was speeding around and having some kind of attack, then she said nothing about it like it didn't happen. Wow. I do recognize that other people who work here are both knowledgeable and helpful. Marissa straightened me out when I was about to purchase the wrong size pants, and I appreciate that. One gentleman who works there (actually I haven't seen him in awhile) helped me pick out clothes for my husband. This is the same gentleman who has helped me with bras and running shorts, and I appreciate his focus on how the garments perform. I would rather shop at lululemon in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills. In Santa Monica they are so kind and helpful. BH is good too, and both have a comprehensive selection. read more
