So I had a pair of Joggers that had a manufacturers defect. The seam at the back of the knee separated. It wasn't sewn but appears to be glued. I took pix and sent them to Lululemon hoping they would make good on their "Quality Promise", but they basically told me to F off, "Please know any items sent our way that aren't eligible for a quality return will be recycled and won't be processed." No offer to repair for a certain price, no coupon to save 25% on a new pair of joggers, no suggestion on how to repair, just F off. This is clearly a manufacturers defect. The seam split. I don't play sports in them, just use them like regular pants. This is a design flaw. Regardless of the date. You can see for yourself in the pix. I took it to my local seamstress and got it repaired for $15. Great customer service here, friendly and quick. I ordered my online order the night before, and I lined up, and received my order very quickly. I was able to try on my clothes with no line. Lastly, they have a great sale rack here. I was able to get my favorite Align leggings, in my size, and black color, for such a great price! I couldn't believe it. Amazing. They couldn't find the purchase on any profiles. I asked what options I had. Apparently NONE. Seemed odd that a high profile store wouldn't just assist me finding the correct size. Ask for the credit card receipt. Something other than NONE. I may buy Lulu again..may not. But certainly will never buy from the Stanford store again. I do really like this Lululemon location- they have a great selection and the employees are super helpful. That being said, they never have ENOUGH employees. On weekends it's packed and the line is so long that sometimes I'll just leave and order online instead. The dressing room section is overflowing with things to put back and it would be awesome if they had a few more people at the registers or on the floor. The other thing is weirdly, the dressing room section doesn't feel super clean. Every time I go there, there are MASSIVE dust bunnies in the dressing room that easily could have been removed if they swept each day. read more

Went to exchange. Was told that I'd need to pay the difference between what I paid (had some discount applied) and the full price. They realized the error of their ways after I contacted their support. Sure enough, the store was wrong. Essentially, they offered a gift card in return. So I've got a gift card to a store I refuse to shop at again. Vuori and Alo have a far superior return policy and it's hassle free. Lululemon's is god awful. It makes sense why now. It tends to be less busy when the store just opens at 11 am. On weekends, to prevent extremely long lines, you can check in to a "virtual waist list" where they estimate the waiting time. On Sunday 7/26 the wait time got up to 3 hours. *Fitting rooms are open! Came to this location at 3 pm on a Tuesday to browse and see what Aligns they had in stock. The line took 30 minutes, just as the sales associate had estimated. I had a nice conversation with the greeter employee at the door. Her name was Katelyn I believe and she was so sweet! Inside the store, I experienced more amazing customer service. I'm just a short Asian American woman in my mid-20s and had great conversations with the two male sales employees (one a fellow Filipino and the other wearing a purple TCU hoodie) who helped me find the cutest pairs of Aligns. The store had a decent selection and I left with a pair of purple Align Cropped Joggers (size 4), light blue Align Crops (size 4), a cropped green Switfly tank (size 4), and white Free to Be Serene bra (size 6). I also left with a smile on my face. The sales employees today were seriously the sweetest and made me feel so special because they all remembered my name (I know I'm gushing but I used to work customer service/retail for 4+ years and recognize the effort customer service takes). The salespeople here seem bothered that customers interrupt time that would otherwise be spent playing on their phones. Salesperson was uninformed of the store's exchange policy. She also told me there was a 30 minute waitlist so I waited outside for 30 minutes, only to find she hadn't even added me to the list and was letting anybody in. When I went to the register, I had to wait for the cashier to finish texting on her phone and finish her casual conversation with a coworker. Was recently at this store and had the worst experience. I went to purchase a gift card for my niece's birthday, and when she went to use it the next day the store claimed there was $0 on it. I went back to the store with her that same day, asked for the manager, and showed him the proof of purchase from the day prior. **The manager (tall white male - I think his name was Gabe), was extremely rude, acted as if the issue was my fault, and did not do anything to help** He had a "tone" and told me the charge was likely just an authorization and that it should fall off. Yet, how could that be, for a store that does not run a business operation where "authorizing a card" is even possible? Even when I showed him proof that the charge had posted, he told me to reach out to their guest customer service center to resolve the issue rather than simply reissuing the gift card. Feeling good vibes again at this Lululemon store! Feeling *Aloha vibes* to be exact, thanks to Malia. She approached me when I was looking lost in the sports bra section and helped me with my dilemma of having ordered one of my favorite sports bras online and it arriving and strangely looking & fitting smaller than my other ones (same exact style and size). The 2nd dilemma was that the stores were no longer carrying this style sports bra so I couldn't exchange it or try on other sizes. After getting little help from another Lululemon store, I came here and Malia was not only friendly, but found a solution for my double dilemma! The stitching of my Lulu leggings is messed up and poorly done. I went to ask for an exchange under Lulu's Quality Promise warranty. I had 2 different sales rep both tell me my pants fall under the warranty, and all I had to do was swap my pants at the cashier. I went to the cashier, who to start, was in a beyond horrible mood. She looked at my pants and did not want to honor the warranty even after 2 different sales reps said they would. She told me to go to the fitting room and have them schedule an alternation to fix the stitching instead. I go to the fitting room, and they were beyond confused to why the cashier said that, and they sent me back to her and said that the pants indeed fall under the warranty. After all this back and forth, the cashier took my pants to the fitting room area and started gossiping to her other coworkers about my pants and how they looked and why they shouldn't honor the warranty. It was so immature, and I was super embarrassed. It was in front of so many customers too. I have never felt this way shopping at a store. I was going to purchase a few more things, but decided not to, because I already wasted over an hour with the back and forth. The girls were so rude. They also bluntly made fun of the 2 girls who told me the pants fall under the warranty, harassing them saying they "don't know anything." I didn't even want to argue or ask for a manager. Buyer beware!!!! Bought a gift card for a higher amount and my credit card was successfully charged and I have a valid receipt of the transaction. However when I wanted to use the gift card it turned out it was empty and the money never loaded to it. The store manager Gabriel was very rude and did not try by any means to solve the issue. His literal words were "I will not put my job on the line to give you guys a solution that you'll be satisfied with". He kept cutting us off and basically sent us on our way without receiving what we paid for. This is legally defined as theft and I can't believe that I am out over $1000 and received nothing for it. After Gabriel pretended to call customer services, he claimed it never went through and the charge is just an authorization charge and will drop. We knew this was not true because of the receipt showing "payment approved". Of course, a few days later, the charge has posted now, it was not just an authorization charge. So I have paid for goods I have not received and lululemon is not making any efforts to solve this issue except for being stuck in the queue with guest services. I am beyond upset and if Lululemon won't make an effort to solve this, it looks like I will have to take legal actions to solve this dispute. Definitely never shopping at this location again as I don't support theft and I don't like the way this was handled. read more

I had to stop at the Stanford Shopping Center to use the 72kW Superchargers and instead of waiting in the car in the garage, I decided to take a walk through the mall and wondered into this Lululemon store, which had just opened. This was a fairly large store and seemed to be well stocked. I didn't really have any issues with the staff. In fact, someone approached me asking if they could help me and did. While there wasn't anyone monitoring the changing rooms when I walked by, a young lady did come right by asking if I needed a room. She was training a new staff member and while I was changing, I had an opportunity to hear her teach the new staff member the processes and procedures at the store. I appreciated the detail that she offered and the new staff member was able to help me out with a question. Overall, a good experience at the Lululemon store. read more

I also received an email confirmation telling me that I'd receive a notification when my order was ready for pickup. It's now 6/5 and I haven't received it. I've tried responding to the email - no answer. I sent text to the number on the email - no answer. I tried calling the store directly, but no one answered, and I left an email requesting a call back. Still no reply. The manager of the store ( blond long hair ) has a very rude attitude towards customers. She makes no attempt at even a greeting or any acknowledgement when I said hi, or even when I said thank you for serving me. If you like to be left alone to explore the store,no greetings or anybody coming to you asking if you need help, this is the store for you. Not all the staff had that attitude. When I was able to allocate a staff at the changing room, she ( a brunette ) was helpful in finding what I was looking for. Stanford had always been a snobbish area to shop. I have been to several different lululemon store's, even in different states! Never have I EVER been treated so horribly at such store. For higher end clothed you would assume the employees would be educated on their products. NOT THIS LOCATION! For those who aren't aware, lululemon has a quality promise. If the fabric is not performing you can qualify for an exchange. SO, I come into this location with my pair of align pants. The pant was Piling, and losing it's seams. Only owned them for approximately 2 years. I wait in line get to the cashier and this girl tells me I don't qualify for the quality promise and dismissed me. I asked her if she could explain what the quality promise was to me, her words: "I don't really know exactly what it is". She calls over the one store manager on the floor. Unfortunately I didn't get her name (or else I would have told lululemon customer service over the phone). The manager asked me how I washed my clothes, in which I replied: "with like colors in cold wash on low to dry". NOW, after saying I put my lulu's in the dryer she immediately says, "yea well because you put it through the dryer you don't qualify". That's not fair because I have several friends who have been upheld my the quality promise. The manager goes in the back to speak with the OTHER manager. Comes back out, with a bigger attitude than the one she already had and goes yea sorry we can either fix the pair you have or you can buy a new one but we are NOT going to do an exchange. MORAL OF THIS LOCATION: please get your employees educated about the product, about the quality promise and all of the information you could possibly know about lululemon. Because when customer service apologizes for you, and gives me the actual facts then proceeds to say that without a doubt I qualified for an exchang; that's tragically embarrassing. Now that I've recently taken on Yoga, I needed to equip myself with the proper comfortable gear. Although, Lululemon has been around for ages, I never felt the need to dive into their pricey clothing. However, now after several purchases and experiences at this location in Stanford Shopping Center, I am hooked and I find myself wearing their tights even on non yoga days, around the house and doing errands around town. This store has a nice open organized layout, and there is almost always a friendly, smiling employee to greet you near the door. The changing area is in the back and I like how how there is an assistant that checks up on you to see how you're doing and is more than willing to go grab another size for you or offer their advice on how a particular item should feel and fit. The old saying, you get what you pay for, is almost alway true in life, and it's no different with Lulu gear. Their clothing is well made with high quality fabrics and is supremely comfortable. For this luxury, it is worth it for me to indulge here and there. read more

they just moved locations to a bigger spot in the mall. they have a big selection with a sale rack in the back which is nice since not all stores have that. most of the time i just buy online and pick up in store. they are quick and i love the tote bags they provide. sometimes you can even ask for a bigger tote that can be used for groceries and other things later. the quality of products is always high and service here is good. ive never had any complaints. workers are typically smiling and happy to help. lululemon keep doing what youre doing. read more

Long time lulu lover- I literally can't work out in anything else. This isn't about the gear- this is a huge shout out to the staff at this location! I received a backpack for my birthday earlier this year and after using it 2-3 times, the zipper of the outer laptop compartment broke. My dad sent me the receipt via email and I brought it to the WALNUT CREEK store to see if it could be repaired. If you don't know, lulu stands behind their gear and will either repair it for you or let you exchange it for another one. THIS IS WHY I CONTINUE TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY HERE. Anyway, the girls at the Walnut Creek store were awful and basically told me there was nothing they could do and "some stores repaired zippers and I could try those stores". They didn't give me specific stores or anything just turned me away with no resolution. I was really upset because the $160 backpack was useless now. I emailed their customer service and they told me to bring it to a store so I tried Palo Alto. The staff at the Palo Alto location were very attentive and helpful. They immediately connected me with the store manager (I think) and he told me I could pick another bag to replace the broken one. No hesitation, no "sorry you can try to find a store that still fixes zippers". So thank you Palo Alto staff for upholding Lululemon's standards- you guys are awesome!! read more

I'm saddened by the lack of customer service at this location. I came in this afternoon and was talked down to by one of the employees who asked if I had ever even tried on anything from the brand as I "looked lost" when browsing the back wall of leggings. Uhmmmmm awkward since I was dressed head to toe in Lululemon's staple products and the look on my face wasnt screaming lost.... it's just my face. As if that wasn't cringe worthy enough the sales associate followed me around the store as if I was trying to steal something. I've been to so many other lululemon locations before and the experience has always exceeded my expectations of customer service, but this location is sadly lacking. The staff standing at the front door let people cut in line and walk in randomly while my husband and I have been standing in line waiting outside. Those people walked in without waiting for shoppers inside to come out. When we protested, the lulu staff told us she knew about the three people walking in without checking in with her. She said there are people who just don't care and she would not go inside and drag out any customers who just walked in like that. She said "you are welcomed to walk inside and yelled at them if you want." She gave us 2 options: first, get on the wait list to go inside. The wait was longer than one hour. Second, she said we could just shop online. Lululemon is such a great company that makes great products. We are their loyal customers for more than a decade. We were horrified by this experience as to how they don't care for their customers safely by not controlling the number of people walking inside the store: they don't follow the safely protocol set by our government officials. The staff would not kick out the people who did not follow the safely protocol and let people who dutifully follow the protocol wait longer and longer outside. It is Lululemon'a job to ensure the store is a safe place for people who go inside the store to shop. When we question the staff's effort to keep the store safe, we could not believe she refused to do anything and suggested that we yell at the customers who did not follow the safety protocol. I passed by the store for the first time, looking to buy a long sleeve shirt. I went by in the evening so there wasn't very many people there. I was greeted warmly by Matthew, who was very helpful in giving me guidance on some of the clothes they carried. Shout out to him because he took the time to educate me about some of the differences from the athletic wear they carried as well as some of the options they have online. I really enjoyed the positivity that's in the store atmosphere and had a great experience. Would recommend just to learn a thing or two from the folks. Came here on a Wednesday night to return a defective product. There were no apologies for the product not performing as expected. The manager on duty spoke in a very condescending attitude and acted like he was doing us a huge favor, even though their product was defective. They also explicitly state their product quality guarantee on their receipts, but it seems like some people don't take it that seriously. Thankfully, the other staff were nice.
