I am not a big Lululemon shopper. Located inside the Pacific building, it's a popular spot downtown Seattle. Employees are nice and pleasant without giving any hard sales tactics. I was surprised there were plenty of men's clothing items along with athletic accessories such as yoga mats, water bottles, and bags. Security is present outside the building due to the homeless and solicitors who are visible outside the major stores. read more

I bought this tank yesterday and I did not pay any attention to the price because I trusted them, then I came home and I saw they sold this to me $1 more than its original price in FINAL SALE! Lucia was amazing (hope i'm spelling her name right) to work with. I had to place a quick order for 2 scuba hoodies and told her I wanted to run in/out. She was joyful, professional, and just made the entire process seamless and fabulous. Then, walking into the store to do my in/out - encountered another wonderful human - seems to be a great culture in this store - who pointed Lucia out so I could say thank you. I'd definitely shop here again and I typically don't say this because I am usually (almost 100% on line) however I would actually consider bypassing that and going in this store - purely because of the experience. Experiences have varied over the past couple years. You have to come into this store after you do your own research (size, length, fit), or else you'll spend too much time trying out pants you're unsure about. The sales associates are deliberate but thankfully patient - aka you can try on 20 pairs and they won't get frustrated. Over time, I feel like they've given me some time to look at the new colors and styles before they offer to assist me - which I appreciate. read more

Waiting in a line to shop and then waiting in an even longer line to return is unacceptable. At price points of $99 plus per item, you need to figure out a better way. You could easily have a no shopping/return only line, take the items needing to be returned and the customers credit card if necessary while the customer waits outside. This would also mean less waiting for customers who want to shop. read more

This a great Lulu Location with top rate staff and super sales! Location: It is rare that a Lululemon is located actually inside of a mall. Usually they are located in the outdoor malls or just on streets opening to the outdoors so we missed the location because we kept walking past the mall. But, it is basically in the middle of Downtown. Clothing Selection: The store is pretty large with both a men's and women's selection. They have the same items as most other stores I have visited. But, I was very impressed with the sale this time around. I got a shirt for $19! No way. Lululemon never has size 2 items for that cheap. They had a range of cardio kick tanks on sale in various colors and also a separate sale rack. I ended up purchasing the item in two colors because I was so excited and love the comfort of Lulu when working out. Staff: The staff at this location were especially friendly and helpful, While sometimes the staff just seems to be friendly because they have to, all the employees here were genuinely friendly and helpful. They were happy to point out the sale items and just seemed honestly to be truly happy people :) In Store Classes: I am also excited to try the Sunday in store classes. Unlike many Lulu locations I have visited, they seem to have a great variety of fitness classes on Sunday and for one they apparently even bring in rowing machines! I had a great time and great finds at this Lulu location! Honestly, they made shopping a pleasure. read more

Friendly staff who know and care about the products they sell. The store is remarkably clean and has high energy. The staff are not pushy for sales but are available to provide assistance,suggestions and promote the product. It was nice to be helped by someone who truly understands customer service (The visit was 7-9-2015 at 7:20pm) and cares about their store. The prices are high; however, you are paying for not only the brand name but a higher quality product. I like Lululemon, the quality of their products is stellar and fashionable while remaining true to its function and practicality. I've been running a lot more and their running tights are hard to beat. My gripe with this particular store is that the employees are too cool for school, or at least too cool to acknowledge I exist. Every time I've come to this store, I'm blatantly ignored. Like employees clearly see me and clearly walk the other way. On the most recent visit there were several employees standing around, seeing me look around but continue their conversation. I'll go to this store if I need anything quickly or it may be the only store with item availability but would rather take the lightrail and walk the mile to the U Village store. read more

Who doesn't love great customer service?! I popped into this store a few weeks ago looking for some spandex pants. That's right.. SPANDEX. UGHH. I looked around.. feeling intimidated. Then I was approached by a cute, bubbly salesperson. We talked about what I needed them for (trapeze class/running) and we talked about my personal tastes and body type. After trying on a number of items I ended up with a great pair of pants! Or.. spandex. Or whatever the heck they are! They're good for yoga, they're good for lounging around, and best of all they have a secret little pocket for keys. Now I don't have to hold them in my hand or bring a purse along with me. Loves em! Shopping here was lovely. If I need more clothes like this, I'll certainly be back. read more

When most people think lululemon, they think yoga. What you might not know is that this place is actually runner heaven, if your idea of heaven is technical gear with ingenious functions that looks sexy and fresh! Cuffins, shrugs, back zipper pockets, iPod pockets, built-in half gloves, key cubbies...the list goes on. Now I can run from Queen Anne to First Hill and back and forth and back while carrying with me the few things I really need to get by: phone, license, credit card, key, and a spare $5. And look damn good doing it, in bright funky floral patterns, stripes, sexy black, or reflective white. Mix and match and stand out is my motto! In fact, the running gear is, I'd say, far cooler than the yoga options for the most part: better fabrics, sexier, and more attention to useful detail. The salespeople are incredibly helpful, because all of them run/practice yoga/dance/some combination of the three, so they know what works, what doesn't, and what new gear is coming in soon that you might love. And if you wear a shorter inseam, they hem, so you can still buy their leggings and pants. Nowadays I get all of my running apparel (with the exception of sports bras and running tights) at lululemon, and I'm never switching back. The better you feel, the better you look, the faster you run. Or so I've heard.... read more

Thanks for the shitty customer service. I went here looking for some running pants for my boyfriend, and after describing his body type and needs the sales people directed me to a particular pair. Well, I gave them to him for Christmas and they fit poorly and won't work for what he wants to use them for. He went to return them, and they didn't have any other pants in his size, nor would they let him exchange for a gift card. Their return policy period is excessively rigid, 14 days--and without a receipt,, even with tags, you can only exchange. But there was nothing for him to exchange them for! He went back again after trying to return the original time, and once again there were no mens pants, This time he was out of the 14 day window. They only let him return the pants for a gift card because they needed the pants for their stock! I won't be back. My reply to Liz M., sent 1/18/11 Hi Liz, The holiday exchange period does little good if a gift if purchased right around Christmas. Additionally I might forgive the poor return policy if Lululemon was a tiny local boutique; however, it is a huge company traded on the NASDAQ with hundreds of stores around the world. Additionally, if you require receipts, why not give gift receipts! I specifically asked for one, and was not given it. You mention that your "stores are encouraged to be entrepreneurial." The last thing in the world I want to do while shopping is haggle with mall employees. You should also encourage employees to be more upfront with your return policy as it is not in-line with the rest of the clothing industry. I had to laugh at the accepts credit cards: I don't think anyone walks around with 1K in cash anymore... So, after hearing folks at a fitness class talk this place up, I went to check them out on Sunday 4/5 around 2pm or so. The store was lightly busy, but the sales guy promptly helped when I had picked out a pair shorts in two different sizes to try on. Overall, I wasn't super impressed and found their boutique experience to be a little creepy: Here's why: I went to try on a pair of shorts and was walked to the changing room by one gentlemen. He then took his leave of me and indicated the other gentlemen would help. While I was in the process of trying the shorts on, he kept asking me how they fit... did I need another size... etc.... Frankly, this isn't Brooks Brothers where I am trying on pants, jacket / suits soon to be fitted... But I ended up not going with shorts because I felt they were not "modest enough" or as another reviewed put it, too much package shown. Also, I looked at their Yoga mats and some were crumpled creased along the corners from the way they were being stored. I was concerned those creases wouldn't come out. If they hadn't made me feel awkward with the boutique like service, I'd probably give them a 3 star and possibly bought the shorts and/or a mat. But I just didn't feel like the quality in the merchandise was there and I won't pay that much for style in the gym since the fit isn't any better/worse than other clothes I have. And I am certainly weary of their claim that their clothes hold up better. Note, the sales style can and does appeal to woman... and I can see how this place would appeal to woman. But as a dude, I think not unless I was there with the sig-O -- sorta like going to Victoria Secrets for bra modeling. read more

I really like their quality of clothing, hate spending full price. Got mixed customer service: Either REALLY great or ignored depending on what I look like. If I was just running in the rain, I got nothing but crickets. If I came in during my lunch at work, I got great service. I don't have the plague (anymore) and I do not really sweat unless it's a race and I don't stink (suuuure, you think), so maybe I just looked like something other than their usual clientele? Not sure. Maybe my lack of caring that I had rain soaked hair and mascara running down my face like George Michael after a jaunt in a restroom stall that was off-putting. On another note, I would never run in their "running" clothes. They are made to be pretty, warm and fit well. I am just too damn hot in their shirts and pants, so I stick to them as comfy weekend clothes, yoga class..... and thats about it. I go to a running store for breathable running stuff. read more

Damn you lululemon, can you go public so I can buy some shares and earn some of my money back?! Prior to ever trying on a lick of their gear, I always rolled my eyes and wrote off lulu as "overpriced yuppie gear." WELL, a girlfriend of mine met me for drinks once wearing a super well-cut, gorgeous black hoodie, and when she told me it was from Lululemon ... well I just had to see what the hype was really about. Fast forward 6 months later, and my wardrobe is slowly being overtaken by luon fabric! True, I've been ramping up my exercise regimen as I train for new goals, so my needs have also increased, but there's a reason why this stuff is expensive: it rocks! (and this is coming from a REALLY frugal person!). I am by no means careful or gentle with my clothing, and lulu's gear holds up to my clumsiness and carelessness like a true rockstar. I once tripped and almost totally ate it while out on a run, and instinctively stuck my arms out to protect my head (bad, I know), and even after skidding on concrete, the palms of my hands (covered by the sleeves of my lulu jacket) were unscathed! The BEST part? The jacket sleeve wasn't even damaged or SLIGHTLY frayed! I distinctly remember this moment as making me into a "believer" of lulu. The girls are all very friendly and knowledgable, without being overly pushy or aggressive. They also won't lie to you either and tell you something looks good if it doesn't, and the best thing is, they don't make me feel bad for going into the store to try on stuff that I will inevitably be ordering online (on sale!). read more

Came in looking for versatile weatherproof gear. I have several tights and a Forme 2 jacket I love but needed some items to take on Seattle weather in the fall/winter and stay active. I was shown two differing items, neither of which met my needs. When the attendant* asked my opinion regarding how to improve the design for my needs, I felt she was replying to me in a very condescending manner. She stated, "Well, Item A isn't for EVERYDAY, it is for a specific activity!" Fine. Then why are you asking my opinion? Your job is to do one of three things: 1. Show me what you *can* do for me, how to modify or layer certain items to make them work for my needs. 2. Apologize because the item(s) I need don't exist, 3. State you will take my opinion as a customer seriously and put the ideas forward to the correct people. In my region, and I'm sure in other places as well, people use athletic items for everyday wear as well as specific activities. It isn't uncommon. I may not look like it in jeans and a T-shirt with no makeup, but I lift 3 days a week, trail run/walk, and rotate yoga another 3 days. I know what to expect from my gear. I bought another pair of tights and left. The other attendants in the store were helpful and polite, but one bad apple can spoil the bunch. I hope LuLu will design something to meet my needs soon. And I certainly hope management does some reeducation of this particular employee. Otherwise, I will take my business to the Bellevue store if not a different brand easily located in the downtown area. *I refuse to call them 'educators'. If you were truly an 'educator' you would not be working in retail. Her attitude is prime example of why customers come to treat perfectly fine sales associates with disdain. read more

We all know lulu is totally over priced, but they've got the cutest yoga gear and the fabrics feel oh so good (aside from the black see through pant recall that happened not too long ago). People can complain about the prices and you either love it or hate it. I love it. Everyone in my barre class sports it. Granted you can find less expensive brands for a fraction of the price for clothes you're just going to sweat in... I like my pants fit and snugged in the right places if you know what I mean. I love the feminine touches, unique styles & vivid colors. Customer service? I'm sure these folks get paid via commission because they swarm you like flies on Sh*t as you walk in. Some can be helpful and some will just tell you everything looks great so you'll spend some $$$$. Be a smart consumer and buy only what you like. Sales are few and far between but once in awhile you can find a cute item. All sale items are final and usually are in super large sizes or super tiny sizes. I spoke with Pheobe over the phone (couldn't make it into stores) because I wanted a pair of Lulus that had the compression of the Speed Up Tight but high-waisted like the Wunder Unders. Omgosh this women knows her Lulus. You guys have a serious gem in this one. She made feel really comfortable with the choices, which says so much when you are buying online. Before being blessed with this knowledge I bought the ATRP tights thinking they had compression like the Speed Up Tight, now we both know that isn't the case. Currently my newest addiction,their service is awesome,always helpful and nice,they know me well enough to tell me whats new and what would fit me :) .... the other day was on a hurry and bought a pair of shorts,got back to the gym and found out that they were little to long,an hour later went back return them and told them what i was looking for,the lady that was giving me service suggested me some girls shorts got the right size and BAM we nailed!! I had a great experience at the UVillage store, where I impatiently waited for them to open because I had only twenty minutes and needed a top that was a certain shade of pink and capri length black pants. Ah, the joy of being an aerobics instructor at team-teaching time. The staff member who assisted me made this happen and gave me the paperwork to join the research & development program. Great. As for visit number two, I went to pacific place to kill time one day. I showed up to buy pants, was certainly helped adequately, and was thrilled to learn that they'll hem the pants for free. I'm short and this helps a ton. So I left them my expensive new pants, happy that one does get added value for the cost. Told to expect 4-5 business days' wait, I called after that time and checked in. I was then informed that the alterations person had gone on vacation for two weeks. A couple more calls were made as weeks went by, and in the end, I waited about twenty days to get my pants back. The wait, the lack of upfront warning about a one-time slow turnaround on alterations, and the impression that no one was actually going to call me when my pants were ready all eroded my sense of added value. The staff were nonchalant about it the whole time. The communication breakdown seems preventable with better management. I know people with sewing machines, too... read more

I just LOVE the store, the employees, the atmosphere and of course, the gear! Each experience has been fabulous as I've always gotten the God's honest truth on any article of clothing I'm debating on purchasing. They want you to be confident in what you purchase, not just settle. Also, as a Fitness professional, I like to look and feel confident in my attire, as that's what I "wear to the office". We absolutely love what the Lululemon brand represents: healthy, fit, and doing well. Given all the controversy we wanted to go back and post a review of our experiences. Purchased a number of tops and bottoms. Used the changing rooms to identify the keepers. All the while the staff was great, wonderful in fact. Besides providing exceptional service, all of the staff was fit, radiantly healthily, genuinely happy, and is just inspiring to be around. As they causally discussed the sports they participate in, triathlons' they are training for, and pleasant wholesome overall chit chat. They shared between themselves and other like minded customers. Went back on several occasions over the course of our stay in Seattle and found our experiences to be consistent. While a notable portion of the US may not fall into the healthy, fit, and doing well bracket. Lululemon is still an exclusive club, one you can join but you're going to have to sweat and work for it. Not just buy into it. The brand goes beyond the label. The fact that the CEO is willing to defend it speaks highly of the brand so far as I am concerned. Glad someone out there is defending the healthy, fit, and doing well style instead of cleverly redesigning and resizing clothing to fit ever growing waistlines. - Lululemon, helping to keep sexy - healthy and fit! read more

The friendliest Lululemon I've been to compared to Bellevue or U Village . Though there are some girl employees who wander their eyes on you and other people and when you look at them they smile . At times, they seem confused or unknowledgable about their products ? On the bright side . It is the most organized lulu I've been to . Overall , every time I go in here , I can't leave without not buying anything . Pacific Place lululemon rocks my world. They're super knowledgeable about not only the product and what sports/fitness activities it works best for, but they know the best places for me to go workout! They can tell you the best instructors for every type of class in the book! If you want the best fitness apparel and the best experience - head to Pacific Place. Only downside: parking. But the staff (and the CLOTHES) will make it well worth your time! read more

I had heard good things about lululemon prior to coming in here. And while their staff were certainly nice enough, I can't exactly deliver a ringing endorsement of this place. I was pretty disappointed at the lack of plus-size athletic gear, or for that matter the lack of anything beyond pretty ridiculously small. I get it -- it's geared towards athletic women. Still, it seems that a store for women would be a little more cognizant of the fact that women come in all manner of shapes and sizes, and that their merchandise would reflect that. Plus, their stuff is pretty dang expensive. I'm a Nike person so I get that athletic gear can be expensive, but I didn't really get a feel for why clothing was priced as such. So if you've got lots of discretionary income, and are a small-chested size three or smaller, this is your store. And when I read into the background of lululemon's founder, I think it's pretty safe to say the wife and I will look elsewhere when trying to find her some workout gear. read more

Don't walk in here without anything in mind to purchase and, for the budget spender, you better be serious about your purchases because a pair of pants, tank, or jacket will cost an arm and a leg, but definitely worth it. Usually, I just buy any kind of active wear that I find on sale just because as long I just need support and I usually am done working out before I make my own sweat puddles...or lakes... But, just recently, I bought a bikram yoga annual pass at a local studio and planned to come regularly. Which means, I needed something that was moisture-wicking, doesn't sag from soaking in sweat, helps my body breathe, and also for aesthetic appeal and comfort. Lululemon Athletica's clothing does all of the above and actually specializes in yoga wear (and running wear). I ended up picking these really cute shorts at $48+tax with the help and recommendation of a staff member at this location. Yowza! But I remembered wearing them for the first time to a bikram and loved them! It's amazing how absorbent the fabric is. I've always usually been a tank top/t-shirt person when I work out because I felt so insecure of my midriff and possible muffin-toppage at the waist. But in bikram yoga, the less you wear, the easier it would be for you to handle the heat and humidity - which is why I found it necessary to just come in a sports bra top and shorts. And luckily, these shorts are actually quite flattering! The waist band really works with the shape of your body. Even for a curvy girl such as yours truly. Also, even after you wash them, they come out in the same condition as how you bought them! But this is VERY IMPORTANT! Try on your possible purchases! No excuses! If you plan on buying for a friend - you might want to bring them in to try something on to make sure you get the sizing right. Suck it up! If you're usually an XS, don't be surprised if you're buying a size 2 or 4. If you're a size S, don't be surprised if you're buying a size 6 or 8. They're just numbers anyway and I think there is a consensus that their sizing is not "normal" and you'll usually want to size up. And with the money you're dropping for the clothes here, you'd want to make sure you look and feel good in what you're wearing. Plus, it seems this is wiser path since their return policy doesn't sound too flexible. Anyway, I actually come in here mainly to look at the new styles, try the new clothing on to see how they fit, and then plan on doing most of my purchases online. And here's a hint for those of you that just can't afford to spend money on regular-priced clothing (and a personal strategy of mine). Find out what your size is for their clothing and check out eBay. There are so many people selling Lululemon wear that you can actually get a good bargain on some stuff. read more

Did you know that you can get regional tech gear here? Being from Texas, when I walked in to look at their Speed Tights I definitely wasn't expecting three different levels. In Texas, we have one Speed Tight. It doesn't have names like "Cozy" or "Tech". You can find these things online, but you won't know what they actually mean until you go in and feel them. There's not much else to say about lululemon. It's like every other lululemon besides the different intestities of speed tights. read more
