Staying at the beautiful hotel and while at the beach we chose to grab lunch from this pool bar. Will not be back. Waitress was kind to us but extremely rude to her colleagues. It was very uncomfortable hearing and witnessing the interaction and how she treated everyone. We ordered jerk wings and fruit platter. Wings tasted as if they were bought pre breaded, frozen, deep fried then smothered in sauce. Neither dishes terrible but not great. We ordered a strawberry daiquiri and pina colada. It needed to be blended way longer and overall tasted terrible. $18/drink and neither of us could finish it. Tasted like bad tap water. Great and convenient location, but we will not be returning for the remainder of our trip. read more

This restaurant is located in the back of the B Ocean hotel, near the pool just a few steps from the beach. The vibe was nice and the service was even better. As many people mentioned it's ridiculously over priced . I ordered the chicken sandwich , it was pretty good but nothing to write home about . You should know that you have to order at the bar and also come back up to get your food, there is no service what so ever BUT they do CHARGE you a service charge . I have no problem paying a tip when you come and wait my table or at least bring my food to the table but they don't even clean the tables after someone leaves and you pick up and throw away your own food so I have a difficult time understanding how the service charge is justified, especially at 18%! read more

At the tail end of a longer run in the heat, I was desperate for nutrients and staggered into this bar slash restaurant. The bartender was pleasant and the service was fast. We spent the last week at B Ocean Resort and purchased Lunch from the Salty Siren a few times- the last time however was a sh*t show. They have waiters on the beach to take orders- Sami was our waiter. We ordered shortly before 2p, the card was ran at 2:05. It's currently 4p and I still haven't gotten my food (I've talked to Sami at 3p, and my mom went to the bar and asked what was going on at 3:45p. We were told there was a tech malfunction and that some orders didn't get sent to the kitchen at 3p by Sami- totally understandable. Sami ask me to give him a few minutes and he would be out with the food...well he never came back, so that's when my mom went up to the bar. She was told the same story, and no one ever offered a refund or at least a free drink in apology. We watched as Sami walked around with bags of food to deliver and get them confused as well; for all I know they probs got mixed up. Sami was very polite during the entire encounter, but it didn't make up for the 2+ hour wait. Pretty disappointing! Also- 2 margs and a burger and tacos cost us $100+! Update: we got our food, and my mom told me the wait staff were prioritizing new orders over all the missed over past orders!! So it seems like no body could time and prioritize orders correctly! I also expressly asked for the smash burger with no Mayo, and when my mom went up to the bar to check on our order she also noted that the burger should have no mayo- she told them 3 times! Guess what was on my burger! Soooo much mayo on both sides of the patties, plus a bunch of extra mayo packets. read more

Pool bar/restaurant with fun drinks and standard bar food. Throughout our stay we went here several times for lunch and ordered the wings, Buffalo chicken wrap, hamburger, pizza, and chicken sandwich. All of it was really good except the buffalo chicken wrap. Food is on the pricey side but it seems like every restaurant in Fort Lauderdale is. Our favorite drinks were the frozen mojito, coconut drink with spiced rum, and sangria. read more

Shocking. We have one day at the beach and we were looking for a beachside cafe. Chose this place. What a mistake. We ordered the heirloom salad. It came warm. With cherry tomatoes. Staying at the resort....we had a quick snack - Fish tacos($16) & a chicken quesadilla ($15?) & a couple drinks, a Rum & coke & a screwdriver....took a long time to order & get the food, only had 1 or 2!servers & they had to cover the pool & beach areas. Food was a little disappointing- they only gave me 2 fish tacos, which were a bit bland, The quesadilla was a good size and somewhat tasty....At least the drinks were strong & they didnt skimp on Alcohol. The total bill was $70, so it's overpriced for what you get. The SS is next to a very loud pool area, lots of noisy kids too LOL. read more

Enjoying lunch without giving up my pool chair? Yes, I'll take it, thank you very much. Sure it's essentially mediocre bar food, but convenient poolside drinks & lunch fare are much appreciated. Drinks are pretty reasonable. My sister and I ordered lunch here two days in a row and shared fish tacos and a chicken quesadilla, then a margherita flatbread the following day. This poolside beach bar is one to avoid unless you are staying at the hotel. The food is wildly overpriced, menu uninspired, and the wait staff totally taxed and focused on refilling the hotel guests beverages. Spent a meal hoping the waiter might come back so I could get more water- never did- and simultaneously trying not to get splashed by the privileged white kids in the pool. My daughter enjoyed the virgin mango daiquiri but I only had one signature beverage and she had the quesadilla appetizer and I had a plain pizza and the meal cost $70 for lunch. This is the best bang for your buck at the resort. We got to enjoy a great lunch, poolside, in the cabana. Vendrix was our server. He was awesome!! He converted us into fans of the jerk sauce. Chicken fingers were cold, fried burning hot. Clearly chicken was sitting somewhere until ready to be used. $11 not bad, but kinda a lot for he quality. Pool is ok, overall hotel is not clean, not maintained, and pool on second floor is an embarrassment to any establishment. How they can call that a pool is insane? First off you have to walk up a set of stairs that is completely falling apart. Really disturbing. Railings are literally rotting, all rusted, place needs FULL MAKEOVER! Salty Siren is the B Ocean resort's hotel bar/restaurant near the pool/private beach area. Mark was our bartender and he took great care of us. We ordered a sliders appetizer and a couple drinks off the happy hour. Happy hour is 4-6pm and is $5 for well drinks, can beer, and house wine. Mark was super friendly, attentive, and kind. He offered us towels to keep us warm as the weather was getting quite windy. It was so incredibly thoughtful! read more

I ate here multiple times during our stay at B Ocean. This is a decent place for lunch if you are staying at the hotel. There is not much seating room at or around the bar if you are hoping to eat and have a view. They only had 1 server/ bartender which means you have to wait awhile to get an order in. Although they were very accommodating since I am Gluten Free and my mother is vegan. She ordered the veggie flatbread, and I ordered sandwiches without bread. It's okay to sit there but we ended up taking to go and taking it to the beach. Under no circumstances should you order from the attendants at the beach. Our order was forgotten twice. So when we didn't get our lunch after 2 times ordering it, we were hangry. I think they are understaffed to handle so many orders from the pool area and beach area. read more

Stayed here for the week while visiting a friend. I have to say the food was excellent for being a beach bar in a hotel. Great view and great service! If you get the chance ask for mark! He was exceptional!!! read more
