We started the evening with their incredible oyster selection. The oysters with the cucumber granita were a masterclass in refreshing, clean flavors--a perfect, bright start to the meal. We also indulged in the oysters with caviar beurre blanc, which provided a stunning, decadent contrast; the richness of the beurre blanc paired with the briny pop of caviar was unforgettable. Another standout from the starters was the foie gras cornets--delicate, playful, and incredibly rich, they were a brilliant opening note for the palate. The beet salad was another highlight. Far from a simple starter, the charcoal-roasted preparation brought out a beautiful depth and earthiness, elevated by the perfect balance of creamy textures and crunchy toppings. For the main, the duck entrée was flawless. The skin was perfectly rendered, and the meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the kitchen's technical prowess. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Michael David Inkblot Cabernet Franc. It was a fantastic choice--bold and velvety with those classic notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice that held up beautifully against the richness of the duck and the earthiness of the beets. What truly elevated the presentation was the stunning pottery. Every dish was served on beautiful, locally crafted ceramic pieces that added a tactile, artisanal feel to the table. It's a thoughtful detail that grounds the high-end cuisine in the spirit of Northern Arizona. We finished the evening on a high note with a round of perfectly pulled espressos and the coconut macaroons. The macaroons were the ideal final bite--crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness to round out the experience. We asked for their best and most popular drink. They gave us an orange monstrosity that was ridiculously difficult to drink. An abomination of a sidecar, not quite straight orange liqueur. Could barely finish my 20+$ drink. Bread was VERY crusty. Not fluffy, and coated in oil. Other than that the food was good. We picked this place because it was supposed to be the best in Flagstaff. Last time I visited Atria, I did not have the great experience I did this time around. I feel I owe them a new review on yelp for my February 13th visit. I also reviewed them on Open Table. This time however, the service was notably better. We showed up on time, the hostess greeted us, and we didn't have to wait for our table. The salmon dish was fantastic. Their bone marrow is not to be missed. The iberico pork pulma is truly special. The service and ambiance were wonderful this time around, and I can't say enough good things about the cocktails. A restaurant with potential, but critical flaws with prices far higher than the experience provided. We spent $279 per person (including the $140 tip the manager fails to include in their response). While there were some bright spots, most of the meal was a waste. The restaurant management's decision to respond by denying our experience and arguing against us is not a hopeful sign. Good leaders learn from their mistakes. Bad leaders commit to a path of repeating them. The manager's unhelpful response downgrades this review from 2- to 1-star. The service, while exceedingly kind and helpful, was painfully slow. It an hour until we were seated and had drinks brought to us. Our first course arrived at the same time as the drinks, but without any utensils provided to dine with, we had to wait until the bottle of wine was opened and poured before our server could get us the tools to eat our food. The bread and butter ($10) was delicious. As were the foie gras mousse cornets. The caviar course had a unique accompaniment - savory madeleines instead of blinis. Were the madeleines warm and fresh, they might have been a good pairing. The warm bread was a much better pairing. If you do get the caviar, I recommend also ordering the bread. My appetizer was the shrimp tagliatelle. Full of flavor, but unfortunately a salt-bomb. For mains, my wife and I ordered the duck. The portion of duck served us was obscenely large, 20 ounces on each plate, I'd estimate. It's hard to complain about generous portions, but when you're paying $62 for a plate of duck that's mostly going into the compost, I'd much rather pay $30 for a portion I can happily consume. The duck was ordered medium-rare, but we were served very rare duck - red with a blueish tinge, barely lukewarm, difficult to cut and chew. Fortunately, the skin was crispy, the fat mostly rendered, and the XO sauce served on the duck was full of flavor. The duck was served with a side of braised cabbage, rolled around duck sausage. It was bland. As was the add-on duck cannelloni, which mostly went into the compost. A lot of effort clearly went into these sides, but they didn't pair well with the rich duck. It seems petty to complain about plating, but even this element was frustrating. A huge serving of duck on an enormous plate with ample room for sides. The sides came on separate, small plates, making them difficult to cut. My son got the short ribs with potatoes three ways - pave, puree, and miniature chips. The dish was delightful. Tender, well seasoned, well portioned, well plated. If you're intent on trying Atria, here's my advice: food may be over-priced and over-portioned. Consider splitting dishes. Inquire about portion sizes. I'd stick to the cheaper items on the menu, because I'd much rather have my son's short rib than my duck. However, the most telling aspect of Atria is the management's response to these concerns. Every restaurant has a bad day. Not every dish is going to please every diner. Rather than accepting the feedback and committing to continual improvement, the restaurant says that we're the ones at fault. Don't bother with Atria. I hear good things about Shift just around the block. Give them a try instead. read more

Came for a last minute Friday night date night and this place definitely lived up to the hype. We felt like we were waited on very attentively, our water glasses were never more than a few sips emptied and as soon as our drinks got low our server was over checking to see if we needed another. Food was delicious, the steamed mussels were maybe my favorite dish of the night and I don't even like mussels! The sauce is freaking magical, Thai chili and chorizo deliciousness that perfectly compliment the mussels. Pork was perfectly cooked, the shrimp's sauce was so good, the beets were probably our second favorite but virtually impossible to choose. For desert we got the peanut butter jelly and the pavlova and both were amazing! We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. read more

First time coming here and I will absolutely be back. As soon as entering I felt transported to a different city. I had a reservation and they were quick to seat us. I love the soft and warm aesthetic of the restaurant and the service with Bryan was awesome. He was great to recommend drinks and food based off my preferences and dietary restrictions. One thing to note, I NEVER had to ask for more water as it was always filled even without me noticing. Also, dishes and silverware were promptly removed when not in use which most restaurants don't understand needs to be done. This made the table feel huge and made time with the family more intimate because we weren't having to worry about moving stuff around on the table to make space. I wasn't sure what to expect. The reviews were good and the pictures of the food made it look amazing. This place absolutely exceeded my expectations. Forget that it's a small space and you're on top of other tables. The food speaks for itself. We decided to go with the price fixe menu. It's a 4 course menu and it had several options for us to choose from. We both got salads to start but the real meal started with the appetizers. I chose the scallop and I have to say it is one of the best appetizers I have ever eaten in Arizona. The sauce was simply incredible. My lady chose the Cacio e pepe and it was also very good. For our main course I went with the smoked chicken. It was cooked beautifully and the sauce was the perfect compliment. My lady chose the steak cut of the day. It was a filet and it was so good she hesitated giving me a bite. Lastly I had the lemon mousse for dessert. It had an exterior shell making it look exactly like a lemon. I absolutely loved the creativity. It was as the perfect way to finish the night! Yes, you need to be prepared to spend some money but it is worth every penny and I think it's a great deal. They even have a reasonable wine menu and you can also choose wine pairings with each course if you prefer. We will be back and next time I want to try the 8 course tasting menu! read more

Highly recommend! My partner and I dined in to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations ahead of time and were given complimentary glasses of champagne in celebration! The service was phenomenal and the food was absolutely delectable. We started with raw oysters on a half shell that just melted in your mouth. For an appetizer, we had the mussels and WOAH! The flavor combination was absolutely incredible!! I could eat several orders of the mussels alone and be completely satisfied. For our main course we shared the Sonoma Duck, it was recommended to order medium rare and there were no regrets. The duck was cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth. For dessert, we ordered the apple cheesecake and, oh my goodness, it was so delightful! my wife and I went to dinner last night and this was a very excellent culinary delight. We did the four course tasting menu. We had over abundance of food. The duck confiet cannoli the cooked duck and the parsnip purée was amazing. The wine selection was excellent. The dessert was a chocolate warm cake with gelato, which was amazing. The grilled and dive salad was perfectly served. The flavor was amazing. Great vinaigrette on top. Overall, one of the finest dining experiences in downtown life staff. One word. Wow. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for this place. Flagstaff is such a small town, I did not think this level of dining exists here. First thing, parking can be tricky. The restaurant is located in downtown Flagstaff so plan to come early. The restaurant is small and very intimate. This is a great spot for a romantic dinner. Our server was great! He went over the menu with us and gave us a recommendation in each menu category. The menu is seasonal and changes all the time so keep that in mind. We started with the Atria bread and charcoal roasted beets. Atria bread: nice crust and soft on the inside. Fanastic! Trust me. Just order it! Charcoal roasted beets: beautiful presentation. Everything on the plate works really well together. For our entrées, we went with the smoked short ribs and slow smoked organic chicken. The star of the dinner is the short ribs. It was so tendered. We wrapped it with the tortillas and dipped it in the sauce. Highly recommend! The chicken was also fabulous. If you like the chicken from Fat Ox in Scottsdale, then you will also enjoy this chicken. It is a solid choice. Overall, we're planning to go back to this place one weekend because we didn't get the chance to enjoy their dessert. This place is a must! Everything from the customer service, to the ambiance, to the food was all amazing. To start it's women owned and operated, which I love. For apps we got oysters, grilled shrimp, pork belly, cheese, bread, and so much more. I will say every single thing was amazing but the grilled oysters pork belly and cheese were my top favorites. For my entree I got the rib eye with a side of potatoes. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The honeymoon drink is soooo good, def grab one of those. We've been to Atria four times now in the past eight months and already have our favorite appetizers, entree items, and wine selections; all of which have been very consistent each time. A majority of our positive experience, other than food and beverage, is Bryan's service along with other staff. Bryan is always able to offer food and beverage suggestions based on our preferences and is very attentive to our needs, and expectations. Being locals and having so many restaurant choices in town we tend to gravitate to restaurants that have a high level of personalized service, and stay away from those that don't. We've sat in the dining room twice and also at the Chef's counter twice. The tables provide a more intimate experience while the Chef's counter provides an exciting and action-packed insight into the complexity of Atria's food production. The tables have chair and booth seating while the Chef's counter has high back bar stools. We've yet to be disappointed and are therefore very satisfied repeat customers. read more

2nd time I've been with a friend who had been quite a few times before. I had the Shortribs first time and she had it this time. It is phenomenal! We both have also had the Steak Frites. Very delicious with peppercorn sauce. Fries are delicious with cheese sprinkle and seasonings. We both had their version on an Espresso Martini. It is different than the norm but in a great way. A little spicy and creamy. My friend loves the Chocolate Torte. I like it but I also like their other desserts too. We tried the Lemon and PB&J desserts this trip. So so good. Atria is an American French restaurant in Flagstaff, very aesthetically pleasing with muted color palette. Isidro was our server and he was excellent from start to finish. He helped us select our wine for our meal, we ended up with Pinot noir. I'm an oyster fan so I ordered the Oysters 3 different ways: Shallot oyster with Apple mignonette which was very refreshing. The Caviar oyster was really creamy and the grilled oyster was average. We ordered the beef tartare and bone marrow as appetizers. The sourdough sauce was unique and complimented the tartare very well. Fries were served hot and crispy. Bone marrow very rich buttery, pastrami sweet, mushroom salty. Duck medium rare very nice meaty texture not overly fatty like farm raised duck. The berry sauce on top was very good, all the flavors of savory and sweet in one bite. Ribeye steak cooked to perfection. It was my birthday so Isidro was kind enough to give me an additional birthday ice cream gelato which reminded me of a birthday cake flavor I love. Lemon was very lemony and the raspberry was a nice complement to the citrusy lemon. Will definitely come back to try other menu items! read more

We were greeted and seated promptly at the chef's table where we had made a request to sit while making our reservation. The interior of the restaurant was clean and well lit. It gave off a dated 90's decor/color vibe to me with pinkish seating and almost whitewashed looking wood. Not my fave look but I wasn't there for that. The guests who were there when we arrived were dressed from yoga clothes to casual shorts and t-shirts to business casual. There were couples, groups and families. There is definitely no pretentiousness in this establishment. It was welcoming to all. Service was friendly, professional and prompt. The dishes came out in a particular order per our request. The chef's table offers the perfect view into the workings of the kitchen from prep to plating. Great care was taken in the plating of each dish and it showed. They say you eat with your eyes, so the plating matters. Each dish was well seasoned and delicious. The appetizers were the right size for sharing for two. Hubby had the Sonoma duck for his main and said it was one of the best he has had, and he has eaten many a duck. I had the smoked short rib with cauliflower purée and potato pavé. The short rib was just warm and the purée was on the verge of being cold. I let our server know and he immediately apologized and had the dish prepared to the proper temp. I want my food to be served like it just came off of the fire, especially when it's being made right in front of me. This misstep didn't deter me from giving them 5 stars. They rectified the error right away without hesitation. We didn't have the roasted beets or oysters as pictured in my review, but I was able to snap a quick pic of them as they were placed to be served to the guests. They looked delicious as well. The wine list was good and offered many varietals and price points. I would definitely dine here again and a see why it has such great reviews from both locals and visitors. read more

Went out for a night looking to do some serious food and wine pairing. Atria did not disappoint. Started with a Pinot Noir and grilled oysters in a blood orange dressing with a dollop of chorizo. Both were fantastic. Followed it with a Little Gem salad. Very fresh veggies and the mustard vinaigrette was perfectly done. Salad was lightly dressed, not soaked in dressing like so many restaurants do. Bleu cheese was a little overpowering. Would be better with a softer Gorgonzola. Moved to a Côtes du Rhône to pair with roasted bone marrow topped with white trumpet mushrooms, brandy, and garlic. Truly exquisite. For the main, had a medium rare duck breast with orange, leek, and cognac glaze served with a barley risotto. Paired with Cabernet Sauvignon. Holy shit. It was ridiculously good. For dessert, paired a hard to find Puttonyos (a slightly floral Hungarian dessert wine) with rum cake. Again, ridiculously good. I was sad that I couldn't come up with an excuse to try four other desserts - they all looked fantastic. Finished with a decent cognac as a digestif. Pricey, especially for Flagstaff. Very attentive service with a casual-classy atmosphere. The oysters with caviar beurre Blanc and the grilled oysters with chorizo and blood orange gel were absolutely phenomenal. The cocktails were delicious as well. The bone marrow was a size able portion and tasted great. The salmon was perfectly flaky yet tender, and the salmon roe and bearnaise sauce were incredible with it. The highlight was the ribeye, with a thyme brush to dip into high quality olive oil and balsamic. The quality of the meat was excellent. Our side of potatoes with a creamy mash at the bottom was rich and delicious, as well as the cauliflower. At the end of the meal, they brought us a guest book to sign. I had high hopes, but this place is overrated. It's very loud. The tables are very small and there are too many of them packed into the dining room. The prices are pretty standard for this type of restaurant... until the food arrives, anyway, and then you're left to wonder what they spend the money on because the food is pretty unimpressive. I fell absolutely in love with this restaurant a year ago. Sadly after my recent experience I have to change my rating. I wanted to try the new spring menu and it looked amazing. We started with oysters and they were quite good. They have a unique mignonette. We decided to try the chef's 4 course menu at 87 dollars per person as everything just looked so appetizing on the menu. The first course was the salad and the grilled melon which was I think intriguing but not my personal taste. The second course is when the evening took a turn. The creste do gallo pasta was extremely salty. Our waiter was nice enough to replace it with another pasta, cacio e pepe which to my disbelief was saltier than the previous dish. A ten per cent discount was given but not before we paid the bill and the waiter remembered our disappointment with the second dish. We were so surprised to discover this gem during our first time in Flagstaff. We didn't have reservations but were welcomed with open hours for our party of 5 on a Friday night during Easter weekend. The restaurant is gorgeous! The color palette, wall art, to their menu and food presentation, everything complemented each other in such a beautiful way. But the main star of the show is their food! Think Italian coastal cuisine. We had their rustic bread, oysters, charred octopus, cacio pepe, and their branzino oh my! If you want pretentious in Flagstaff, this is the place to go. I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon ("Sonara wheat berries, Lobster glace, bitter greens, radish, bearnaise 40"). It came laughably on an appetizer sized plate, about two tablespoons of wheat berries, three pieces of fried carrot tops, each an inch long, about four radish halves (cooked). When this (child-sized) dish was served, the waitress dramatically announced, "THIS...(!!!) is the BEARNAISE sauce," flourishing a gravy boat. "Chef recommends two spoonfuls. How many would you like, and would you like it on top or on the side?" I told her two on the side. They were half teaspoonful sized spoons. The entire dish was dripping in butter. The waiter recommended the salmon be rare-medium-rare. It came medium. Granted it was well prepared, tasty and not over- or under-salted with crispy skin and wasn't dry. The bearnaise was perfect. My husband's Smoked Creekstone Short Rib (potato pave, pomme puree, crispy garlic, sauce bordelaise 58) was greasy, but flavorful. At least it was served on a dinner plate rather than an appetizer plate. The charcoal roasted beets were flavorful, and the candied pepitas were delightful (18). My fruit and herb mocktail (strawberry, Gifford Apertivo, Elderflower, Basil Seedlip 12) was bland, but it had a lovely bourbon-like aroma which unfortunately did not translate into flavor. My husband's Old Money (Bitters, Lemon, Benedictine, Sherry, Cognac Rye 18) was delicious and had a nice clear block of ice, like they should be. Disappointed with the entire affair and still a bit hungry, I opted out of dessert, and went down the street for chocolates instead. read more

We started our meal with their homemade bread and shrimp appetizer. Do not miss out on either of these. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the house made bread was incredible. My husband ordered the short rib and I ordered the salmon and both were lovely. Being from Washington, I know to usually steer clear of fish in Arizona but this was definitely an exception. Would not recommend the "salmon" dip. I was genuinely confused if we got the right dish, it looked and tasted like cream cheese with herbs. The bone marrow was more enjoyable because of the experience rather than taste but my partner was a big fan of it. What took the cake was the pork pluma. They apparently don't enforce it as we were seated about an hour after our reservation. We were not offered anything and no one apologized. The food was mediocre and overpriced. My biggest mistake of 2025 was choosing to make my New Years dinner reservations at Atria. I made the reservation for 8:30pm because it was supposed to include "admission to the Atria After Party which will be accompanied by a DJ, champagne toast at midnight, a Photo Booth, and more." The per person pricing was not available at the time of the reservation, but it didn't say that the price would be higher for reservations starting at 8:30pm. The restaurant was right next to the famous pinecone drop in downtown Flagstaff so I thought we'd be able to eat dinner, then step outside for the pine cone drop at 10pm and then come back in for the after party and then champagne toast at midnight. When I asked our server about this he said that we would not be able to leave (if we left we'd lose our table) and that we did have the after party added to our bill and then proceeded to bring our champagne for our midnight toast during dinner. The end result was a $600 bill, no champagne toast, no pine cone drop, no after party. The food was good but not that good. Extremely overrated and a horribly planned and executed event. Our first time in flagstaff en route home to California. Outstanding meal. Sat at chefs counter and received impeccable service by Ellis and the entire staff. Had the four course prixe fixe option. I had the smoked beets (divine and so unusual), scallop, smoked chicken (huge portion) and lemon mousse. Also had a smoked oyster to start. Husband had melon with burrata, divine cacio Pepe (I think the standout) hangar steak, chocolate cake with coffee or chocolate gelato. I spoke to the chef and asked her to move to palm desert. Atria is clearly the best restaurant in Flagstaff for the moment. We celebrated a special occasion here and were glad we did. The quality of the food matched the high price point and we felt satisfied with our meal. Highlights included the salty and creamy cacio e pepe (with the crab supplement), tender smoked short ribs, and moist duck with a fantastic black currant jam. The desserts are worth indulging in as well. In particular, we thought the apple dessert was fun, with a satisfying crunchy shell that capped off our meal. read more
