The place is large with several kinds of seating with several places to plug laptops. They provide free WiFi and milk substitute ( almond milk). Also an array of other pastries like muffins and scones and croissants. Bagesl: Ok so for those that love Bagkes they have several kinds to choose from but The quality of the Bagel is not what you might expect but good enough to enjoy one. The price is not crazy either. Just wish they had a way to prevent all the flies from crawling all over them during the summer months. The glass is open on the employee side. Great coffee and friendly staff. I would give them 5 stars if it wasn't for their "fresh baked" muffins. The one I received this morning was not fresh. It was frozen. Didn't realize it until I got to work. $4.00 not well spent. In all fairness the lady at the drive thru did ask me if I wanted it warmed up. The employees were super welcoming and bubbly, which made my experience even better. It was also decorated very nicely. Wow. So I've never really been to Rome but was riding through for work. I was on my way to the nearest Starbucks when I saw Lumina's majestical building - literally it was like seeing water in a desert, lol. I made a quick u-turn and chose to eat here instead and boy am I glad I did! I chose to go through the drive through and ended up getting the Tuscan panini and a Chai Latte and it was great! I had to wait a couple of minutes for everything to get ready and it is a little on the pricey side but the staff and the food was well worth it. I'll definitely be back when I'm back in town!! read more

We have driven by this place many times and always talk about trying it. Well, we finally did just before Christmas last year. My wife and I both had lattes and some lunch. The food was excellent, but the lattes are probably the best I've tasted. So happy we stopped. We pass through Rome at least once per month and we plan to make a point of stopping here every time from now on. read more

Lumina is GREAT! I've been more than a few times and have always had a pleasant experience at Lumina! The staff is consistently warm and professional and the atmosphere is cozy. I am always greeted kindly. There's plenty of space and it's always CLEAN. I've enjoyed their tea very much and have sampled several of their menu items and have been very pleased with each of them. Very relaxing but fun vibe! Love the coffee and food! I was traveling through on my way to the beach and needed to pick my little sister up from Berry College when I needed a little pick me up, some lunch, and a place to do some work on my computer. First time trying Lumina. I wasn't expecting the coffee to beat Starbucks but it did. The girl at the drive through window was absolutely precious . She was friendly and cheerful and I left smiling and that little bit of interaction set my day off on a great foot. Nice atmosphere. Great place to read a book. Very friendly staff. Great americano. But my wife ordered her usual, a latte, and was quite disappointed as it was covered in foam more typical of a cappuccino. Otherwise she scooped the foam off and said the flavor was good. Great place to get work done, huge area with a trendy atmosphere, workers are always so kind. Coffee is good, with slightly limited options (aka no special season drinks, no oat milk options). But the food is INCREDIBLE. Their salads are the best in Rome, and their sandwiches are phenomenal as well, very fresh and flavor-filled. Wifi is typically good as well. I love so much about this place. Great coffee, great food, friendly staff, plenty of seating and parking, and great music. So excited to have a place like this in Rome at last! But I am so sad about how early they close. Closing at 8pm (even on weekends) is such a let down. The coffee is wonderful! Best I've had. The homemade syrups are delicious and really make a difference. My favorite is the blended caramel, but their hot coffee and hot chocolate are very good. I haven't eaten there yet but my daughter and her friends say the food is fantastic! I'm glad to finally have a great coffee place that's not grossly overpriced for bad coffee. read more
