I used to think this bar was trash based off of word-to-mouth from friends, but the music here is great and the nightly bottomless drinks are such an insanely good deal-- definitely worth the $10-$20 cover. I recently moved away from Orlando to go to college and the bars I go to now will never compare to Lib. It is a place for colleague kids. Literally. Do not expect anything else. But if you are loking for a place to party thats it. They have great promotions. The night we went was 5$ entry and free coctails and 1$ shots and 1$ beers. Outside you have beer pong tables and in the back inside there are darts. The bartenders will give you the darts for free. Inside there are 2 bars and a stage. There is no point comin earlier than 10:30 or 11. Since it is a coleague enviroment you might meet many underage kids. It gets packed and than it is annoying becaus you cant move/dance or even breath. When we were there there werre a lot of cops just checking kids and taking them out of the club. The night was fun. I lodt my phone though. Rather it got stolen out of my purse. I tried to call/text/facebook the bar and no response. Here I was in Orlando for my sister's roommate's 21st birthday party. Now, I always like going to Orlando because I like hanging out with my sister and her friends and the bars there are a lot of fun, as well as the fact that right next to the bars is Lazy Moon pizza, so I can end my night with a giant fucking piece of pizza if I so choose, but I digress.. We started the night off at Applebee's. I had the unfortunate luck to sit at a table with a cross between a Debbie Downer and a Negative Nancy (you call that a Miserable Martha). To make the (very depressing) time fly I decided to take advantage of the 2-4-1 drinks at the Applebee's and get a little bit saucy. At this point we left to go to the Knight Library. As I walk to the door what do I notice, but they are playing the song Ice Cream Paint Job, the Lil Wayne version, from the No Ceilings mixtape. Now, this is very rare because it is not often that you hear mixtape songs at a bar and this also happens to be my favorite song from that mixtape, a mixtape full of great songs. I knew that this was a sign that it would be a good night... As I enter the bar, the song "Move it Like Bernie" comes on. Of course I immediately start doing the Bernie, which I had never even heard of until earlier that evening. Lo and behold, next thing I know, I have a circle of bitches surrounding me and we are all doing the Bernie. After this, I decide it is time to check this place out. I see some kind of shot girl giving out mixed drinks made with a new flavor of Bacardi. She's denying all the guys so I decide to not really bother and make my way towards the dancefloor. As I walk through the crowd I am receiving compliments left and right, from guys and girls, on the most random shit, my t-shirt, my haircut, my fresh J's... I circle around the bar, walk past the Bacardi girl, and she grabs me and offers me a drink. Of course I oblige. About 15 min later on another lap, the second Bacardi girl offers me a drink. Now mind you no other guys are getting these so of course I am feeling very special. A while later I decide to buy myself a drink. Now, I have a great love in life, and that is drinking coffee. I have always wanted to try Patron XO but you don't really see it in many bars, however they had it at the Knight Library. And the bartender gave me a triple shot for some reason (not complaining). At this point my swag is just off the charts and I somehow ended up in the VIP section (just an elevated corner) with some random dudes and they're giving me drinks. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a spanish girl on the dancefloor looking at me, so I do what anyone with so much swag on a night like this would do. I looked her straight in the eyes, walked over and grabbed her by her belt loop and started dancing with her. After about 30 min I got a text saying the birthday girl had wandered into the parking lot and it was time to go. I can't wait to go back to Knight Library. read more

When we first moved to Orlando, my boyfriend and I went on a search for a great bar to hang out at and found this dump. First of all the ATM outside didn't give us cash but did charge our account for it. We informed the 3 guys standing at the entrance that it was out of order but no one moved to do anything when the next couple came up to use it. I wish I could say one positive thing about this place, but it is just a failure from the plastic cups, to the sticky floor! There was no comfortable, clean seats to relax in, it took forever to get a drink, and the decor is ...well...what decor? The truth is my favorite bar on earth uses plastic cups, it is old and dirty, BUT it has a fantastic atmosphere, great bartenders, and customers who consider themselves family not just patrons. Don't be fooled, the next time a UCF student tells you they are going to the library, they most likely mean the Knight Library. This place is located across the street from UCF in the middle of a plaza. They have cheap drinks and covers, and if you are a UCF student you will most likely find someone you know or have a class with when you go here. They have a few pool tables as well as dart boards in the first room, which is lined with booths. The next room features the dance floor and a pretty long bar. The attire here definitely is not dressy, in fact you will find a lot of sandals and shorts on the patrons of this place. When most UCF students say they're going to the library they don't mean the library on campus with books and such. What they are really referring to is Knight Library, a bar and hangout place conveniently located right across the street from UCF in the UC7 plaza. There isn't really anything special about this place, it has your typical bar area, several tables and chairs throughout the place and lots of room to dance, stand or do whatever you want really. Their specials throughout the week are very good, and beneficial for their college patrons considering college kids are notoriously low on flow. While I don't really hang out in places like this much anymore since I graduated last year, my favorite night to indulge is Fridays because they serve FREE beer from 4 to 7. They had me at free. For those who attend UCF, this is definitely the place to be on the weekends...and pretty much every night of the week because it's where everyone goes, the drinks are cheap and it's close by. read more

If you go to UCF, this is probably one of the first bars you will go to. It's nearby, the drinks are cheap and it's filed with everyone on campus. The college should consider it an elective, and for many students it is. There are a lot of T-shirts, cargo shorts, and backwards baseball caps here, but on the other hand, a lot of drink specials, so it's a trade-off. Other than that, it's got your basic layout, a hand full of tables and some dancing room. The DJ is fun, active but not too much of an annoyance. He plays through the whole song. Plus, you can dance on the stage if you want! Not a good experience. We payed $80 to get inside early and skip the line and immediately realized we made an immeasurable mistake. It was a trash hole full of drunken underaged adolescent schoolboys and girls. The excess of filth encompassing the area around me was boundless and infinite. Regardless of where you directed your vision there was something distasteful and utterly repugnant. Now onto the water situation. Since there was a copious horde of Reddit degenerates that when together exchanging bodily fluids so close to each other also make the club a professional, mass bakery. We could of been cooked up and sold for preposterous profit at the bakery across the block if the club wanted to because they never gave any hydration. I went up to the bar to get water cause I believe I had lost 10 pounds in water weight since I'd been there and I had to haggle and argue with the bartender. And by the end of the interaction we could have went our two separate ways with me and my water in hand and him continuing his shift at this distasteful institution. But no. We continued to haggle and I never got water from him because it's not cool enough and alcohol would of been a more hydrating option. 80 fucking dollars and I can't get a simple god damn water. Got dinner and some drinks here. Not too expensive. Huge space (and we didn't go next door to "the Dungeon" either which I guess is some kinda venue) but mostly empty when we went (Monday night). I have heard that the entire place is standing-room only/sardines on the weekends. Pretty cool-lookin' bar counter. And apparently, the 60 year old professors come here to discuss the cute girls in their classes. Reminded me briefly of The Educated Burgher at Yale (New Haven) with all the bookshelves. I am seriously considering filing formal charges against this bar/lounge in regards to a security/bodyguard that still works at this club. The management needs to make better choices as to who they have working there. My son was put in a chokehold by a security while using the "N" word. My son had nothing to do with what was going on, and just happened to be in the vicinity. This security guard said " You're going to Jail Nigger". The irony is that we come from a family of attorneys and Judges in Orange County. You put your hands and called the wrong child a "Nigger", and to make matters worse my son lost his father a year ago to cancer. He was just going out to have a good time and get his father's death off of his mind. Since they choose to not answer the phone I'm leaving this review. Go here every now and then with my younger sister. It's your typical college bar. Bartenders are always swamped. You have to shove your way up to the bar at night and flag down a bartender. A lot of underaged kids. Ladies beware of disrespectful guys... One guy was dancing with my sister and tried to bend her over. He quickly realized his mistake.
