Great diner food. Loved the beef Manhattan. Small town, local atmosphere. Good prices.

Great little place with tastey food. The breaded tenderloin was rated top 10 in the state.

It was also seasoned with a crunchy breading similar to the tenderloin.

This was a good opportunity off I-70 for something unlike what most highway stops offer. This place…read morewas intriguing with the availability of loukoumades (Greek donuts), something you don't find every day. The facility was quite nice, especially for being appended to a gas station. Its decor was as nice as most coffee shops of any kind. I tried the coffee and was pretty happy with it. But the Greek donuts were the highlights. Unfortunately, they were out of banana sauce so the Funky Monkey loukoumades were not available. That was a disappointment but the traditional (honey, cinnamon & walnut) and the Nutella loukoumades were terrific. The service was very good as the woman who took care of us did a very credible job even though she was the only one working. The prices were also reasonable, making this a good value. We'll stop again if we have the chance.

Insides were still a little wet and were glorified donuts you'd get from the fair or if you dropped cheap dough into seed oils. I also got a coffeecino raspberry drink and it was good but very sugary and not so much coffee. Would have better luck going to a bigby or such for a roadside coffee place.

The cafe is located in the converted historic ROM Webber furniture factory. The Big Four cafe name honors the railroad line that used to pass through town. Courtney, our server, was friendly and attentive. She kept water filled and checked on us frequently. Food came out quickly. I had the Herb and Garlic Chopped salad, which was beautifully plated, fresh and delicious. Romaine, tomatoes, onions were topped with cheese and avocado. The garlicky vinaigrette dressing was tangy. I I also had a cup of the Texas Chili, which was topped with cheese and jalapeño slices. The beef was tender and the soup base slightly spicy. My husband had the Cuban Press (at Courtney's recommendation) and it was tasty and hearty. The sandwich was made using Indiana ham, slowed cooked pork and melted cheese. He said his sandwich was an easy 5 stars. Don't miss the beer battered onion rings which are fresh made and delicious. (I stole a couple of his rings.) There are roomy restrooms with changing tables. Free parking is available in front of the building. Worth a visit.

I noticed the good reviews so we drove an extra 10 minutes which turned out to be a worthwhile decision. Excellent spot for breakfast and the full dining area supports my opinion. I had the breakfast quesadillas which were delicious! My friends had a breakfast combo which she said was excellent. The server was patient and helpful as I vacillated between options. Definitely a two thumbs up experience and worth a drive!

The additional eggs was two dollars, and fifty cents, and a small pepsi was two dollars. And fifty cents. No eggs for the salad and no mushrooms for the salad. No fruit on the salad bar. No french dressing rude waitresses. And we had to pay extra ford eggs. Yet when I call them and ask them if it was a full solid bar they said, oh yes, of course. They did say that the salad bar was unlimited. What little or was. Yet, they required you to get a second small plate rather than just give you one large plate to get your food. Places like this should be shut down. Save your money go to mcdonald's at least there. They have eggs in a salad. When my wife informed them that we would not be back to have dinner here ever again. None of the food stood out to me, or made me want to go back. There's no wow factor. French fries are crinkle cut and bland so make sure you add seasoning. Mushroom burger was just a flavorless mushroom burger. It was ok. But not worth the 40 minute drive.
