Our favorite at Lumpy's is the Kitchen Sink Benedict! Live the flavor & spicy chorizo! This time I added the Churro Waffle. OMGEE! It was so good!!! The cream cheese sauce was the perfect pairing for the waffle. We'll definitely reorder it next time! We always order for pickup because the restaurant is always too busy (long wait time). Writing this review is really difficult for me because I've been a loyal customer of this place for a long time. I order at least twice a week since it's within walking distance from my house, and it has always been one of my favorite spots. However, my last 3 experiences have been disappointing, and I can no longer support this business, which truly saddens me. The first time I noticed something off was when we ordered our usual breakfast. It felt like the portion sizes had noticeably decreased, which was strange. Also the quality was not as good. To give them the benefit of the doubt, we ordered it again another time, only to have the same experience. But today was the last straw. My husband called in an order, only for us to find out that it was mistakenly given to another customer. It's frustrating to see the quality of service decline like this, and it's with a heavy heart that I say I won't be returning. read more

She came up to my table with my family asking us "what do you want to drink". she didn't introduce herself or ask in a friendly way and just walked away while we were talking. She has no sense of professionalism or respect. Food was good though. Another server came to help us. She was really sweet and nice I didn't catch her name though. Came here for brunch today and as expected it was pretty packed, but the wait didn't take that long. It's a family-friendly diner which I loved about it. I had the lumpy's eggs benedict, husband had the biscuit and gravy, the little goombas had kid's burger and mickey pancakes, with chocolate bits and we all loved it! The ambience was friendly and had a nice vintage diner touch with it, which gives it more personality. Staff were attentive and nice. Parking is ample as it is in Lone Tree Plaza and the shops are just right there, if you need to walk it off. I totally recommend and we'll definetely be back! read more

Don't come here until they work out the kinks in their new payment system. Took us a good 20mins to get the check and get processed out. Comes here often but last Saturday will be my last. Young hostess very rude. First, I called to ask if I can make reservations for six people, he said not necessary. We got there and waited more than 30 mins because they couldn't find a seating that we can all be seated together. I came up to one of the young boy hostess and told him they can just sit us in a separate table since we've been waiting for a long time outside especially it was really windy that day. As I walked back out to get my parties, my mom saw both young hostess looked at each other and gave me the eye rolling look. Didn't see what kind of interaction they signaled each other but my mom just didn't say anything to avoid any conflicts. Customer service should be one of the main priority for a business. But these young boys need to be taught how to act with repeated customers. Service was slow and waitresses were not attentive. read more

First time visiting this spot and I must say it was great food quality!!! Although if you in a rush I wouldn't recommend going there because you can be waiting up to 10-20 min to get seated. My wife just moved to the area and saw this business while driving by. From the moment we got there we knew it was special. Our server, Hunter, was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the menu and history of Lumpy's. I had the chicken and waffles, my wife had the Frisco burger. Both were so delicious! Took my mother here for breakfast on Wednesday morning around 10:30am. The placed was packed with only around four table open. We took our seats and was immediately greeted by our server. She took our drink order and brought back our coffee quickly. As for food, my mom ordered the French Toast breakfast. She really enjoyed it. 4:5. I on the other hand asked for an eggs Benedict with Corned Beef hash. They were gracious to accept my special off menu request. Unfortunately, the English muffin was burnt, Corned Beef Hash burnt, Hollandaise bland and Hash Browns burnt. I are just one of the Benedict's and had to pull off the burnt layer off the hash browns to eat the center of the potatoes. It took awhile to get our meal and we were pressed for time so I didn't have a chance to send it back. Once served, our waitress didn't come back to check on us to refill our coffee. They were all gathered by the kitchen and bar top just chatting with each other. I'll stick to Lumpy's in Pittsburg. Much better service and quality of food. read more

Solid 5 stars! This diner is a bit of a drive for me, but it's sooo worth it. Lumpy's has a pretty big selection of options from the menu to choose from and the customer service is superb. It is located within a strip mall, a ton of free parking in front. I came here on a Sunday for brunch and the place was packed, for me not being a local, it was a good indicator this place was good. I added my name to the list and it was a short 15 min wait before our table was ready. Lumpy's is little smaller inside not what I expected, but big enough to offer several booths and large tables for big parties. The decor is diner feels, every inch of the place is tastefully decorated with car memorabilia, old signs, license plates, etc. loved it. most importantly, the tables were clean, staff masked up, super friendly and efficient, always filling up the coffee when walking by. You just don't get that type of service anymore! We opted for the veggie white omelet, digger scramble, eggs Benedict with a short stack of a pancake to try. I recommend ALL of it! The portions were just enough and the single stack pancake was nice to try and share amongst all of us. Overall we had a great experience, it's family friendly and I look forward to going here again. Doesn't look much from the outside but the inside looks pretty cool. Looks like an old diner with your normal adds on the wall, old Route 66 placard and a mural painted on one wall. Love the vibe, the smells of good food and the loud sound of the hustle and bustle of the kitchen! The food was amazingly delicious. I think I tried everyone's food on the table. The chicken and waffles, Buffalo wings, French toast, and Eggs Benedict with sweet potato fries. Those bacon that came with my French toast were nice and crunchy and they were not one of those skinny bacons. The staff were super nice and very attentive. And their nice smiles were an added bonus! They kept the refills going. I didn't know what to expect about the price but I think it was standard. Oh FYI, their hours of operation is very limited so if you want to come they're only open until 1pm and it gets crowded. So be prepared to wait a little. read more

I literally have started calling up people I haven't spoken to in a while with the same line, "Long time, we should catch up at Lumpy's!" You get a great meal for the right price and even have enough left over for lunch the next day. This diner gets busy! My group of 6 arrived around 11:30 am. We called ahead to make reservations, but they don't accept reservations. When we got there, they had already prepared a table for our group right at the entrance. It is a tight spot and there's no room for people to walk between tables or walk pass others to get to the bathroom. Other than the cramped spacing, the waitstaff and food are excellent!!! I ordered the vegetarian eggs with breakfast potatoes and an English muffin. The bread was nicely toasted and buttery. The eggs were fried hard (perfect) and was very good with the veggies. We Were in Antioch for personal business but we don't travel here at all. Checked YELP and found Lumpys. Decided to give it a shot and we scored Place is definitely a diner and in all The Good ways. Friendly staff, excellent selections, good portions, flavorful food and clean all the way around. Rachel Was our server and she was awesome. Very personable and had great suggestions on selection and size. We found out that the owner Lumpy had passed in 2015. There is homage to him inside and outside the restaurant as should be. The place is decorated with the diner style, murals, hot rods, signs, photos, lots to look at and an on going car gathering we were told. The place filled up fast on a Thursday before we just missed the after breakfast slam. But everyone was patient and nice about having to wait for a table. If I lived close I Would definitely be a regular. Job well done read more

Well, where do I start? I ordered online to pick up a 9:30 in the morning. A regular breakfast with a side of bacon and orange juice. When I got there I picked up my order that I paid $23 for they only had an order of bacon in the bag so I turned around, went back in. Waited another 25 minutes to get my rest of my order. And then when I left got in the car, they didn't have my toast fork or napkin in the bag. At this point I am not going back in again, only had an hour lunch. It's very poor and slow service. Our waitress was great! Friendly & efficient! 5 stars! I love Eggs Benedict. Their poached egg, hollandaise sauce & fresh spinach, 5 star worthy! Bread seemed like inexpensive "wheat" bread. Did not appear to be an English Muffin, did not have a good taste. "Ham" sliver thin of some type of meat. Hash Browns, paper thin, greasy. Seemed like a fun place to go, for locals.
