The best breakfast diner you'll find in the wonderful Antioch, CA. I've been coming here for years and the only thing that has changed was their removal of one of their most popular sides the "country potatoes". No fear because their hash brown is still just as good. I loved it here as a kid as their pony pancakes were bigger than my face. Prices have increased obviously due to many things but that's okay because their portions remained large (and always shareable!) It is tradition to bring friends and family that come to visit to this breakfast staple. The workers are all so kind and do their best to take care of their customers. It's a nice family owned diner and the inside decor hasn't changed much - old timey, homey, and smell of pancakes, bacon and griddle food! It is best. My go to are the omelettes - the denver or rockefeller, with extra crispy hash browns and 3 silver dollar pancakes. Show em some love!

***** best breakfast ever ***** its a lotta food always fresh and served hot. the omelettes are my favorite they are humongous enough for two people to share. you will not be disappointed here. service: excellent price: inexpensive -- worth more food: delicious quality: excellent ambiance: diner vybe parking: busy lot

One of my favorites for breakfast... The Jumbo Dumbo. I added a side of linguica! Fat boy approved!

The breakfast is always on point! I get the Jumbo Dumbo or the AJ's omelet. The service is always on point and the ambiance is like being at home. They just need to update the inside. Never had anything else here but breakfast.

Came in for breakfast and met my daughter and grandson who is 18 months old. The server was awesome and immediately ask if we wanted a booster seat or high car. The menu is very extensive but I knew I wanted an omelette. I search over the many offering but the closes one that had all the goodies I wanted stuffed inside was their chicken supreme. I told the server that it had what I was looking for but I didn't want chicken. She stated I could substitute any meat. I chose bacon. The omelette came out piping hot and cooked perfectly, it was Stuffed, the servings are huge enough for two. I could only finish half and took home the remainder of my meal for dinner. They offer two sides so I had hash browns and fresh fruit which also was a huge bowl. That worked out great because I was able to share that with my grandson. Definitely will be coming back.

Well well well. What a treat. Our server had worked there for 30 years. Super cute intimate restaurant for a delicious breakfast. Give them a try. Extensive desiring menu options. Yum.

We visited on a Sunday morning after church. It was pretty packed! There were lots of people there already. I wondered how long it would take for us to be seated. But, we were seated fairly quickly. The seating was comfortable and the staff was really nice. I had ordered their big bacon country breakfast. My sister ordered the same except for she asked for him instead of bacon. Everything was delicious! I was really impressed. I will definitely be back. The only negative thing I had to say is.. I wish my hot cocoa came in a mug versus a plastic clear cup.

If you want to know what a restaurant looked like in the 80's this is the spot. Time hasn't passed by at this classic restaurant beloved by our community. The food prices are average $25 per person, they serve breakfast and lunch, big portions tho, all the breakfast you can order them as burritos, omelettes or quesadillas. Is a fusion of traditional American cuisine and Mexican mole :) Customer service is good There's parking right outside and electric car chargers.

The pony pancake, the Maria's scramble with chorizo, hash browns, mole, cheese, onions.

Extensive menu, large servings, several options on breakfast. Service friendly, not too pushy, check in and coffee refills great.

On a Thursday morning, plenty of parking, only 3-4 tables occupied when we entered around 9AM. (Could be a sign) The place looks clean. Waitress is friendly. But be aware of the cups and plates. A lot of them are chipped. Ordered Philly cheesesteak omelette and pork chop with egg. If you want to eat here, do NOT order any meat (except preprocessed such as bacon, sausage, ham etc.) both the steak and the pork chop were not seasoned. And the pork chop is dry. Meat quality is low. All I can say is the meat is cooked. No seasoning whatsoever. It has the raw meat taste!?! I don't know how to describe it. But it is nasty, I can't believe my tongue. And wish I didn't swallow that bit.

Philly Cheesesteak was so bland... seems that it wasn't seasoned at all. Instead of sliced beef with cheese it was with overcooked cube steak with shredded melted cheese. Steak was touch and bland. We also ordered a cinnamon roll... we had to ask twice since we were already done eating and we still dis not get the cinnamon roll. We asked to take it off our bill since we are already done. They just gave us the cinnamon roll on our way out and said it's on the house. Duh!!!! We tried the cinnamon roll upon reaching home.... pastry was dry... you can really taste that's it's old. Not good at all. Overall... it was our first... and Last visit. Very disappointing.

Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. Make sure the item is tagged for the right table and anybody can bring it out. It doesn't have to be the server as I know they're attending to other tables.

This Hawaiian French restaurant is something out of LA, San Francisco, or even Honolulu/Waikiki. Such a great brunch spot! The interior decor is like a ruined old-French still quarter building with the visuals of balconies just like Paris. There are even classic vintage French poster prints on the wall with an island touch of plants hanging and the music of Polynesian reggae in the background. The menu is great with lots of items to choose from as well as a wine list. We started with a mimosa carafe with 5 different juice flavors to choose from like mango, strawberry, passionfruit, orange, etc. I ordered their Loco Moco which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I did love the way they cooked my burger patty (medium), so it had some nice char texture. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp with coconut fried rice. This tasted delicious and very authentic. It was better than some dishes I actually had in Hawaii. The French toast was regular and tasted nothing different than other's I've tried. It was toasted more than the usual to give it some crispy texture in which I loved. Overall, this bistro is phenomenal, and I will definitely take my family here for brunch next time. Their service is quick and very attentive which is important. Even though the place got packed up, the two employees frequently checked on people. I want to try more, and I'll be back soon.
