Always a great meal, from burgers to full dinners. This is one of the few sit-down restaurants in the area that serves fresh-cut French fries, which are a real standout for me. The Sunday brunch is unmatched locally. Prices remain reasonable, especially compared to many restaurants in the area that have increased pricing since COVID. I first met our waiter Vince when he was a bartender here in the early 2000s. Whether it's a table for two at dinner or a group of up to twelve for brunch, he consistently provides personal and excellent service. We truly appreciate Champions Bar and Grill as a hometown gem. If you're blessed you always get that one loud background laugh guy. Keeps things spicy, kind of like the pinot. (psst it's not on the menu. Special request. You're welcome.) The ahi tuna tower was delicious, and they easily subbed toasted corn tortilla chips instead of wontons for this gluten free gyal. Their dumplings are the crispiest I've ever tasted. And the fajitas were bold, succulent and flavorful. I'd love to see more exotic options added to the dessert menu, yet the vanilla creme brûlée with fresh berries was oh so satisfying. Love to see a Chilean Syrah on the wine list for future! Great food, great service, great views. What more can you ask for in the city of roses? I am such a critic when it comes to Beef Dip but I literally cannot stop thinking about the sandwich I had here. ( If I didn't get so full I would have even the whole thing myself) The Roast tri-tip was perfectly cooked, seasoned and just melted in my mouth. I loved that the sourdough held all that flavor together when I dipped into the hot au jus! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! I got to try a few of their cocktails & they were perfectly refreshing, but what really won my heart over was the creme brulee & the beignets! My father in law & I DEVORED those Beignets I think they came with a side of warmed chocolate and warmed raspberry sauce. It tasted even better than Disneyland's! It's the best sunday brunch buffet! There's so many food options from a giant oyster bar to a prime rib carving station to breakfast classics and everything else you can think of in between. It can get a bit crowded at times, but they're always making sure that the food stations are full of fresh food. We're typically lucky enough to get a seat at the window so we get a beautiful view of the course and reservoir with brunch. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

We celebrated my mom's birthday here at their Sunday brunch. We were a party of 18 and they have set up one long table for us beautifully! Vince was our server and he took care of us really well. We never had to ask for mimosa, coffe, juice or water because he would always be there refilling everything! He's so awesome! The buffet spread and the food were delicious. There was a prime rib carving station, an omelet station, and a waffle and french toast station. Other items in the spread were: - 4 different salads - garlic rolls and hawaiian rolls - charcuterie - deviled eggs - fresh fruits - fresh seafood (mussels, clams, oyester, shrimp) - sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, county potatoes - biscuita & gravy, eggs benedict - chicken enchilada - beef strogannof, mashed potatoes - saffron rice - chicken mushroom - beef cannelini - dessert station (cookies, brownies, cream puffs, choco strawberries, strawberry creme, creme brulee, red velvet cake) There was also live music and the lady playing the piano was great! Ate there once before and the food and the service was good. Came back tonight and didn't have a good experience. My steak was good but mashed potatoes were cold and my veggies tasted like fish asked the server for gravy to mask the flavor of the fish she said that don't have gravy but I knew the did from the time before a white gravy for chicken I told her that and she said it would take awhile to get. After dinner we wanted to order dessert we asked for dessert menu she gave us some and never came back. Jessica the server was busy talking to the other server then stood at the computer watching everything with her arms crossed while I was trying to get her attention then went to the back and didn't come back out for 10 minutes. Maybe because we hadn't had buffet in awhile, but this place wasn't bad. Lot of varieties, and some seafood (oysters, cocktail shrimp and mussels) was fresh and tasty. The Prime Rib is decent as long as you don't try and compare it to House of Prime Rib or San Mateo Prime. They didn't really have a drink station but their waiter did their best to keep us hydrated. Desserts was a bit minimal but the desserts they did have, it was pretty good. I noticed some of their buffet items when we went back for seconds (roasted lamb) they were out and substitute it for something else. read more

Ive been here several times and so far I've tried the ground beef tacos, fish n chips, Bacon cheeseburger, chicken and fries, Quesadilla, A salad ? can't recall which one) and Ribs. Every last meal was on point, even the to go orders I've had since outdoor seating closed down were on point. Enjoyed sitting outside in the summer with a glass if wine. This time of year they close earlyish, about 8pm. What is to like about it? First of all is the view. You are just a couple of minutes away from Lone Tree Way but you would never know it. It is a fairly large, comfortable place, the staff is great. Then there is a good menu whether you are looking for appetizers or a full meal. I really like that they have daily specials that add variety. Alas, the cioppino that we loved on our first visit has not returned or not when we were there. So why not five stars? We live right down the street from the golf course. We play golf and work up an appetite on the driving range. We started with just having lunch after playing, but the food was so good we thought we would try dinner. Dinner did not disapoint. The salmon and all other seafood is cooked perfectly. Oh but the Cioppino was fabulous. The presentation is nice and the steaks are cook perfectly as well. Don't think Golfcourse how good could it be........... COVID: there are plenty of Purell stations and the tables are spread out nicely. Best of all it is outside dinning with plenty of heating units to keep you comfortable. With all the crap going on with covid-19 this place is really doing awesome. One of my favorite new go to places. The food here... Everything I've tried has been simply fantastic! From the fajitas, to the quesadillas, to the burgers, to the salads... Amazing food! I find myself coming here for meals at least three times a week now, it's that good and feels nice to be either outside or inside like a normal human being again. Kudos to the staff here as they seem to be at times understaffed, but work hard and quickly. Every server I've had has been awesome with no exceptions. Food is always yummy, we have never had a bad meal here. You must order the beignets here, they are very very close to New Orleans style. They come with strawberry and chocolate sauce to dip. I have gone to the Sunday Brunch for years. The staff is amazing and friendly. My concern is that the quality of the food is just not the same as it used to be. I like the addition of the appetizers and the Omelette, meat and waffles stations are great. The entrees have gone down, it's always the same old stuff. The breakfast items you expect because it's a brunch. The deviled eggs are just eggs boiled and cut in half. Why not take the yolk and really add mayonnaise, mustard and a little smoked paprika that's how I devil mine. The Salmon is a hit and miss sometimes it's dry. There are different ways to put sauces on BBQ. A long time ago you served an International buffet on Wednesdays, you had the best Shrimp and Grits and many other variations of different cultures food. Would this be something you would consider adding a few of those dishes on the line? I will continue to support you but I want to be thrilled to come more. read more

Once again I wanted to support local! Ordering was super easy. Lots of selection and reasonably priced menu. You can see when your ordered was submitted, being prepared and completed in real time. Picking up was just as easy. No contact with anyone. Just a Hello by one staff member and 10 steps from sore are the to-go orders. I ordered fish and chips (I am bad at taking pictures of my food. My husband and I came here last night around 5pm for dinner since Tailgater's was way too crowded do to Veteran's day and the Niner game. We sat in the bar, Stacy came by and took our drink order, unfortunately happy hour is only from 3-5pm so we just missed it :( I got a tall Blue Moon beer $7.36 and my husband got a tall 805 beer $7.36 We started with the Corn Tortilla Chips and Bean Dip $7.50 which was good, but the chips were rather greasy. For entree's I went with the Chicken Ciabatta sandwich with French Fries and Ranch Dressing $11.50 which was yummy! Each week is a different theme, I went on southern night. They had Coleslaw potato salad, macaroni, fried chicken, corn, chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. The food was pretty good the chicken wasn't the best quality but I loved the salad and macaroni. I was most impressed by the price for the amount and quality of food. Make sure to call each Wednesday to see what their buffet is that night. They also have a dessert bar. I wasn't a big fan of anything they had to offer by the looks of it. They didn't have any labels next to what they were so I couldn't actually tell what they were. I'll try another one of their buffets Forsure. Fresh, okay food, nicely presented, generously portioned and reasonably priced. Pleasant setting, but not the best management or flavors. First, the food. I ordered the fish and chips; and I kept thinking, I want to like this place, but there's something wrong with everything. It came with two large pieces of crispy, freshly fried fish, a large serving of fries, clam chowder and coleslaw. The best part of the dish was the clam chowder - it was rich and full of clams. But everything else... The fries and coleslaw needed seasoning. The fish was so dry inside, the combined forces of tartar sauce / lemon / malt vinegar struggled and failed to remedy this. My mom ordered the ceviche stuffed avocado. It was prettily plated, but the shrimp was a little chewy and the avocado needed salt. Second, the service. Upon entering the place, I felt very awkward. No one was at the hostess stand, so we stood about not knowing what to do. I approached the busy bar and when I managed to get someone's attention, he called a server to us. Our server was lovely and attentive. She checked on us periodically and refilled our water. The food, however, took quite a time to prepare, about a half hour. That's a long time to sit there hungry. The restaurant patio has a great view of the golf course and you don't need to play golf to come here. It's a pleasant place, but I would not order the fish and chips again, nor would I come hungry. read more

I stopped by for lunch since I was in the area and looked for a nice restaurant. I was upset because the waiter took 15-20 minutes to even take our drink order because he was chit chatting inside with other employees. He finally came out but to ask a table if they needed anything in which they wanted a drink and he even took forever to get the drink and come back out and went back inside to continue his convo. Finally he came out and flagged him down and took our drink order and was a while to place the food order. The food was not great and was shocked for being a nice golf club. Pasta was missing taste, chip and dip was just chips and beans and salsa was extra. My son liked his club sandwich. The creme brûlée was not good and warm and the sugar that is burned at the top was soft. I wouldn't come to this place again. They need to work on their menu and food taste. read more

This spot is so nice and quiet. I had dinner with my boo and I swear we were the only youngster. This place serves great food. I tried the ceviche avocado thing and its pretty good. I was scared by reading some reviews but mine was great. The sausage penne dish was kinda spicy , garlic bread was crispy and not drenched in butter. I can't complain. I will definitely hit a couple balls before I eat. This place looked pretty cool for an afternoon date. read more
