What I ordered... drumsticks, mushrooms, salad, and an espresso

Great find... drove into Clayton on a late Saturday afternoon and wanted to eat before heading to where I was staying and found this recommendation on my "healthy food near me" search. It was a perfect choice. I love the inside decor and ambience. Felt like I was at an expensive high end restaurant without the prices having you to take out a mortgage. The food was amazingly freshly made the service was awesome without a long wait. I can't wait to go back and enjoy it with my daughter and granddaughter. It's a must and has been added to my favorite restaurants in Clayton.

We finally got the chance to check out Luna Pizza and really enjoyed everything that we got! Their menu sounded really good so it was hard to choose. Their cocktail menu was also really intriguing - we'll have to go back to check it out! We got the single order of the Panzanella Salad and it was really nice and refreshing. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, green onions, house croutons, mozzarella, salami, white balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. It was the perfect refreshing compliment to our Crisp Eggplant Pizza! The pizza was topped with a tomato or white sauce (we chose tomato), mozzarella, breaded eggplant slices, shaved Parmesan, and fresh basil. To round out a great meal, we got the Tiramisu. It came served in a cup which we found unusual for a tiramisu, but boy was it good! It was cookies, mascarpone, whipped cream, espresso, chocolate, and marsala. You could really taste the espresso and the cookies soaked everything in beautifully. So glad that Luna opened up in Clayton and we hope to be back soon!

This is artisan pizza so don't come in here expecting Domino's or authentic Italian. The dough is unique here unlike any dough I've tasted. The atmosphere is high-class but the prices are super reasonable. Try the Tiramisu after your meal- it does not disappoint.

The service is great and the menu suits vegans. Just a great place for a drink or a quick meal. The eggplant is excellent.!

Pizza was good but pricy for portion size received. Spaghetti was $9 and the bowl was small with only 1 meatball. I'll eat there again.

The amazing atmosphere stood out right away…read more The space felt elegant yet comfortable, with soft colors, clean marble tables, and a calm vibe that made it easy to relax and talk. The food looked as good as it tasted. The pastry was fresh, warm, and balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. It paired perfectly with the wine. The wine list was wonderful. There were plenty of options, and it felt well chosen, not overwhelming. The rosé we had was crisp and light, which worked great for lunch. Service stayed attentive without rushing anything. Overall, this spot works well for a laid back but elevated girls lunch.

Don't believe the instagram videos. Save your time and money…read more I will start by saying the host & waitress were both very sweet girls and it was nice of them to warn us how "backed up" the kitchen was from the start. We came for lunch on a Tuesday at noon, expecting to miss any crowds or waits. There were about 5ish tables seated, so we were confused why the kitchen was so backed up. We both ordered a salad....and waited over an hour and 15 minutes. At this point I could have went to the store to make it myself. Unfortunately the quality was bad on top of the wait times and that's why I am writing this review. I'm disappointed that I brought my family here from out of town, we wanted to enjoy lunch and eat together, but it resorted in her eating cold chicken 20 minutes before me, and me eating lettuce drenched in dressing out of the plastic to-go container, which I didn't ask for They made it right by comping my salad and offering a free cookie, but due to the experience I don't want to give them a second shot. Very disappointed

Cozy neighborhood café-bakery with a sprawling chalkboard menu and a pastry case that's hard to…read morewalk past. I went savory: a chicken salad croissant (flaky, generously filled, with a side of bow-tie pasta salad and a creamy poppyseed slaw) and a pressed caprese-style panini with tomato, mozzarella, and basil grilled to a deep golden crisp. Both solid, satisfying lunches. On the drinks, the cold brew made with Joe Van Gogh beans was great--smooth and well-balanced. The iced café au lait was acceptable, nothing memorable but it did the job. The bakery case alone is worth a stop: cannoli, cranberry almond muffins, strawberry streusel coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and a rack of croissants. Friendly counter service and a comfortable spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or lingering with a coffee. Worth a return visit. Prices are very reasonable.

Chanticleer is a hidden gem in Cary! I don't know why it's taken me so long to discover it…read more The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. They helped me navigate my coffee order and executed it to perfection. They also answered all of my gluten free questions and took extra precautions for my allergy. The egg white and cheese sandwich with turkey bacon was great. Pro tip: Order it with a double portion of egg white for added protein. I also got an iced cafe latte with caramel. You can get a punch card for every coffee and get one free on your tenth purchase. They have a great pastry selection. I got an almond croissant to go for my mom on a recommendation from a friend that said it's a can't miss! (I can't try it due to my allergy but it looks amazing) The ambiance has a cute cafe with plenty of seating.
