Your great aunt calls out "okay, dinner's ready!" You close your book and set it down beside you in the hammock. Your body is tired and your skin is warm from the day spent in the sun. As you struggle to pull yourself out of luxurious relaxation, the aroma from the grill swirls through the air. At the patio dining table, the smiling faces of your cousins/siblings/best friends/etc. are aglow. The flame of the (citronella) candles dance in the gentle breeze. And you eat. this is where my mind went when I was eating at Luna grill Absolutely delicious. Best shrimp I've ever had (perfectly cooked, which is hard to find). The chicken was so tender. The sauces, the rice, the hummus, the agua fresca It's really hard to find food like this. At first, I thought it was a little bit pricey, but the more I thought about it, I realized it's quite fair. Everything is made to order, and this is profoundly apparent in the flavor and textures of everything we ordered. It might be more than you'd expect to pay at a quick-serve restaurant, but if you think about what you'd have to pay to get food THIS fresh and delicious, it's actually kind of a steal. I'm not sure if I've ever eaten at a restaurant I enjoyed this much. It felts like a home cooked meal at a distant relatives beach house, overseas, by the ocean Not only was the food amazing, but the atmosphere and service was so comfortable and welcoming. We went yesterday and had a fabulous first time experience! The food was fresh and delicious. I had the gyro and fries and my husband had the gyro plate with an added shrimp kabob. The service was commendable and Antonio was amazing in making his rounds among the restaurant making sure everyone had whatever they needed. Antonio was a delight to speak with and had a lot of information on the freshness of their food and the healthy attributes it has. They have a great rewards program which definitely provides an added incentive. There's an outside patio for seating on beautiful days. We will be frequent visitors for sure! Great opening day! Went for dinner with my daughter. The entire staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised at the seasoning on the chicken for the chicken pita. Chef's kiss! The pita bread itself was so fresh and soft. The GM Juan was so nice. The young man that took my order was kind as well.... But I forgot his name. Cienna I believe that was her name was so kind and attentive . Ordered to-go and got the chicken and gyro plate. Chicken, rice and hummus were so flavorful and amazing! Would come back and get that again. The gyro meat was absolutely foul. Like jerky and I could barely chew through it. I went last Wednesday, the food was good thanks to the cooks. But the only problem was the person who served me, I assume it was the manger because he was wearing a black shirt. He is short, dark skin, and chubby. To begin with he doesn't know how to use the register, secondly he talks bad to his employers, and lastly bad service. I was new there and didn't know anything about the meun and I asked him to inform me and he was giving me bad attitude. I won't return back because of him. read more

This place is alright, The portions are not worth the price . I've been to Tikka Grill in Westlake Village and they have great food , large portions and they offer more for your buck. So does the Mediterranean place next to Tikka grill . But I'd definitely recommended trying Tikka Grill for your moneys worth !! read more
