Every bite was awash with flavor, making me look forward to the next. Super happy with my Santorini bowl that contained fresh ingredients and with perfectly cooked chicken. Even though i left feeling full, I felt energized from this protein packed meal. Its always a good sign when you're warmly greeted upon entering and given menus to review, much better than having to crane your neck to read the large one posted overhead. But great to have both options. My partner enjoyed his gyros which he said reminded him of a spot in LA (papa cristos) that had unfortunately closed last year. This place also offers catering and their to-go orders were nonstop while we ate in. Definitely would recommend anyone looking for a healthy option to go to this spot. And apparently kids eat free and they also provide them crayons and coloring for them which is nice. read more

My first time at Luna Grill with a recommendation from my friend. It did not disappoint. Everything was delicious! I got the salmon salad and my friend got the gyro plate. We ate everything and did not have any leftover. If you are craving for Mediterranean foods, this is a great option! The menu also tells you how many calories are each plate, love it! read more

I love the food and the staff is excellent! Young manager named Erik was especially nice. My husband and I always get the Santorini bowl with salmon and you can substitute out anything that you may not like. The only thing I don't like about the place is the annoying music that is played 24/7. I've asked them to turn it down and they don't seem to be able to do that. read more

Update regarding gluten-free options: I honestly wouldn't be lowering my rating if Luna Grill corporate and the restaurants had really thought through this situation better. I've always loved Luna Grill, and that's what makes this so frustrating. They recently started using pita chips in the fryer, which means several items that were previously considered gluten free can no longer safely be flagged as gluten free because of cross-contact. For people with gluten allergies, sensitivities, or celiac disease, that's not a small change. It removes a lot of safe options from the menu. The sad part is that this feels completely avoidable. Pita chips could be purchased separately, fried somewhere else, bagged, or handled in a way that doesn't contaminate the fryer for gluten-free diners. Losing access to items like fries, falafel, and other fryer items over pita chips is extremely disappointing. I still love Luna Grill and want to support them, but this change makes it much harder for gluten-free customers to eat there safely. I really hope corporate reconsiders this decision or creates a dedicated fryer solution so people with gluten allergens are not pushed out of options. read more

Stopped in to Luna Grill in Palm Desert for lunch. Andrea was so kind and provided the utmost in customer sservice. My wife had the beef koobideh entree and I had the chicken kabob entree. Andrea brought our order to the table and my wife forgot to order rice and Andrea said no problem let me bring you some. The service was good. And they recommended the peach burratta which was a great recommendation. It was delicious. The chicken kabobs were cooked perfectly. The gyro meat was quite overcooked. But the big disappointment was that the fries were stale and the pita bread was also not fresh which is a basic expectation for an establishment that touts its freshness. read more

I was super excited to try this place. My coworkers always talk about how good it is. My coworker today told me there was a 2 Santorini bowl special for $25. I have a hefty commute home so I jumped on Door Dash (which I always use...) and placed my order not realizing the special didn't kick in. I called to ask if I could cancel and reorder and the girl working just said "No. It's a third party. We can't do anything about that." Okay, understandable.. but I wasn't being rude, and I felt like she was being very short and rude. When I came in to pick up my food, she asked for my name and I answered, she said "here." And dropped my bag in front of me and turned away and went back to whatever she was doing. Still excited to try this food, but damn! Came in for lunch super hungry so it was tough to decide. Nathan was such a great help in pointing me in the right direction. My gf had the gyro plate with rice and salad with dressing on the side. Luna Grill has some really fresh and amazing food overall. The loaded fries, bowls, and plates are all delicious, and you can tell the cooks put real effort into what they make. Big shoutout to the kitchen staff they don't always get the credit they deserve, but they're a big reason the food keeps me coming back. One thing I definitely recommend is the flat chicken. In my opinion, it's much better than the regular chicken, which I sometimes find a little tasteless and tough. That being said, my experience at the Palm Desert location has been a bit frustrating when it comes to the front register. The service there has not been consistent, and the policies around swapping or paying extra for different proteins in the bowls can be disappointing. I think the store could really benefit from reevaluating some of the male staff working the registers and focusing more on customer service. Besides that, the food itself is awesome. This place was great for a weekday dinner with their kids eat free special. The food was fresh and quick as expected with fast casual. The staff was very warm and welcoming and made sure to attend to any questions we had. The menu has all the Mediterranean classics and I ended up getting the Cali Pita with Gyro meat. The harissa sauce on the side was the icing on top. The seasoned fries are super tasty and go great with any dish. For fast food in the desert, the portions are large and The quality is good. The taste is fine. It's not to die for, but it's good. The falafel balls were a little bit overcooked as well as the beef kabobs I took home to my husband and didn't get a picture. The beef was tasteless and not seasoned very well. The hummus was okay not the best not worst that I have had. The very best thing was gyro meat with was a combo of lamb and beef. I would skip the beef kabobs meal which was around $19 and get the gyro meal instead. They make everything fresh so it does take at least 15 minutes to make but at least you know it's made fresh. I've been here twice now once through Uber Eats and one through online order and pick up. Uber eats was the first time and we really enjoyed the food. It's a nice way to get a somewhat healthy option food with salad and protein and carbs. I always go for the falafel as a vegetarian and it's nice because they have a chickpea salad as well when we did order online and pick up ourselves on a Saturday night.
