My experience at Luna Rossa was disappointing. My first impression when walking in was not good. There was an unpleasant smell, similar to a dirty restroom or a general lack of cleanliness. The service was basic at best. During our visit, there were only two occupied tables, and the staff consisted of one server and an assistant, so I expected a higher level of attention and service. As for the food, we ordered a pizza and a pasta. Considering the prices, I expected much better quality. Both dishes tasted and felt like processed food rather than something freshly prepared in-house. The food simply did not justify the cost. What bothered me the most was the automatic 20% gratuity added to our bill, even though there were only two people in our party. I understand the importance of tipping and would have left a gratuity anyway, but automatically adding 20% for a table of two felt inappropriate and left a negative impression. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the location in Lake Las Vegas, which is beautiful. Unfortunately, when it comes to food quality, value, and service, there are many better options available nearby and throughout the Las Vegas area. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations, and I would not return

Luna Rossa is a lovely dining experience in Lake Las Vegas. The ambience is elegant and quiet, with an old school touch. I adored the large mocktail menu- as someone who has been exploring more non-alcoholic options recently, I was so excited to see an espresso martini option on the menu! It was also delicious which was a huge plus. I would go back just to try more mocktails. The appetizers we had were incredible. Our salad was amazing and the Gnocchetti Fritti were yummy as well. We were not the biggest fans of our main courses: my husband's steak was tough and my Tortellini di Pollo was a bit bland and I really didn't want to eat more than a few bites of it, but I would try more appetizers or perhaps a different pasta dish next time. Service was not the most consistent but I do understand that during the slower season that we came, January, the restaurant may have been shorter staffed. Staff answered all questions we had regarding the menu and did not giggle at me at all when I butchered words in Italian! Huge plus there!

The service here and the great portions of food is why I gave this place 4 stars. Everytime we have entered the restaurant we get hit with that bar back smell temporarily. The service is always excellent. Everyone is super friendly and attentive! The food portions are not skimpy, especially the pastas which is always great. In my opinion, the food dishes are over priced for food that tastes good not amazing. Every dish we have tried has been good with an occasional great dish. For us, the taste does not have that wow factor worth the prices. Will we still go there to eat? Yes on occasion.

They have a great eggplant parmesan. I stopped in for lunch...my favorite restaurant in Lake Las Vegas.

Came here to meet a girlfriend for lunch on a Monday afternoon. They open up at noon and at 12:30. It was extremely quiet. Very elegantly designed inside, the staff was friendly and quick to get the table some water and take our wine order. Great lunch specials on their lunch special menu everything from meatballs, Caesar salad, salmon, pasta's, and several different protein or vegetable dishes to choose from. Lunch special prices range from $12.95 to $24.95. They also have a wine special during lunch for $8 a glass.

Where it all began! Here under the lights of Luna Rossa. So many many years ago. We went back, back to the beginning! Have you ever had a "first date!" That one time to make or break it. When my beloved took me here for the first time, little did I ever realize that it would trigger a wave of events that would forever change my life. Here we sit yet again. Across from an individual that I cherish and I still cannot find words for the moment. The butterflies churn but here we sit still. The restaurant is something wonderful. It's a beautiful little nook where you can see one another and be in each other's presence based on the ambiance of the restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing . The staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and even can pronounce the Italian wording of what looks good. Roll the dice and have something new . It's Italian you can never go wrong with it. As we sit and eat it is delicious. The taste of the food literally makes you melt as each bite comes into contact with your tongue. Then after all that you need to have dessert. The taste of what we enjoyed was absolutely amazing. It was chocolate something. As you sit here we have a perfect view of the lake too. Generation after generation come here to celebrate their life moments. That should tell you something about the history of this little restaurant . Now it's time to celebrate your next life event. Let's go and let the staff here make everything all

This place is amazing! I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with shaved truffle and added shrimp, and it was absolutely incredible. The sauce was so creamy and flavorful, and the truffle wasn't just shaved on top, it was mixed right into the pasta, giving every bite a rich, decadent flavor. They brought my friend a tiramisu for her birthday with a candle and even sang happy birthday to her, which made the evening extra special. We sat out on the patio because there was live music playing, and it was the perfect atmosphere. We watched people cruising by in golf carts and walking their dogs. It was lively, fun, and full of energy. All of the servers are Italian, which adds to the authentic charm. Our server was fantastic, super friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor. The service was top notch from start to finish. The ambiance is small and intimate, great for a date night or celebrating a special occasion. We even saw a group of teens dressed up for homecoming, which added to the cheerful vibe of the night. The food is phenomenal, the prices are very fair for the quality, and the fresh bread served with pesto at the start of the meal was the perfect touch, chef's kiss! I highly recommend Luna Rossa. Whether you're celebrating, dining with friends, or just want an unforgettable Italian meal by the lake, this is the spot.

What about the best Italian restaurant in the west valley? Luna Rossa - was a total surprise, coming out of Hilton into a small village, we didn't expect much! But omg! The best pizza margarita, braised short rib tortellini, incredibly fresh prosciutto, and of course, full body aperol spritz! After a long day of driving and golf- this was an honest treat! don't need reservations, come in, enjoy fast served delicious food, wonderful melodical guitar sonatas and amazing service with a character!

Service is great ambience is wonderful. Ordered food from here for the second night this week thinking the pizza would be as good as everything else was wrong. Pizza is below par. If I were you, I'd stick to the traditional Italian options on the menu so you won't be let down

Luna Rossa at Lake Las Vegas is a great find if you're craving authentic Italian food with a view. Family-owned by the Molli family and serving the area since 2010, it has that warm, classic Italian feel without being stuffy. We tried the baked lasagna, gnocchi in creamy tomato sauce, pepperoni pizza, and the salmon salad, and everything was solid. The pasta tasted truly homemade, the pizza was excellent, and even the salad felt thoughtfully done--especially after adding a generous amount of Parmesan. The inside is cozy with white-tablecloth charm, and the outdoor seating is incredibly scenic. Open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, this spot is definitely worth the drive out to Lake Las Vegas.

Just another Sunday in the village.

The original post was taken down, because I put the wrong name of the restaurant. Lol. My apologies to both restaurants, but this is the actual restaurant in Lake Las Vegas. When I'm back home, and I head down to the village, this is one of my favorite spots. If you're ever in town, don't forget to stop by Luna Rossa. Not only is the food great, you'll get a history on the food, from anyone of the wait staff.

The restaurant is cozy and elegant, beautiful ambience. Food was great I had Trio Di Ravioli w beef and pumpkin in pesto sauce and my daughter had Pappardelle Zafferano E Gamberi recommended from server who was sweet and attentive. Drinks were refreshing I had white sangria Breads were warm and fresh with olive oil and herbs. Cute little outdoor patio it was too frigid for us to fine out but looking out the window the view is a beautiful lake with lots of holiday lights n decor. Stunning view

Short Rib pasta with an Alfredo sauce and black truffle

Had a mini staycation in Lake Las Vegas and ate here. Walked in and it had a bad smell of sewer... not the restaurant's fault but very unappetizing. Anyway, the food was delicious. Started with the calamari, thinner pieces, it was just ok. I'm used to thicker pieces. I had the short rib pasta and it was amazing. My daughter had the bolognese and it was great!! Finished off the meal with a piece of tiramisu, which as you can see I forgot to take a picture. It didn't last long. One of the best I've had. Definitely give this place a try.

I came dressed in a casual skeleton jumpsuit, which was kind of a last minute costume for me. Getting there and finding it was super easy. I parked in the casino parking garage, which had plenty of spaces, and walked right over, which was just a short walk away. The weather that evening was perfect to sit outside on their patio, watch a little bit of game 6 of the World Series, and watch other people go by all dressed up in their own costumes. It was not too hot, not too cold, and not windy at all, though it started getting a little chilly as the night progressed. Our waiter was Batman (actually Jorge dressed as Batman lol), who made a pretty impressive Batman impersonation. The Cali Squeeze Blood Orange Hefe, Jack Daniel's, among other alcoholic drinks made appearances. Not to mention the various Jell-O syringe shots someone in our group bought along with her, and yes, she was dressed up as a nurse. ;D Food appearances were pub pretzels and pork sliders with fries on the side. Jorge (aka Batman) told us that we were given the last pork slider dishes available, as they ran out. We initially thought that he was joking, but he was not. The pretzels were great to snack on while I drank my beer, in the case I was going to drink more later that night. I did drive here, so I had to really pace myself with my drinks. This was a great place to grab some food and drinks before going out for the rest of the night. It's also a great place to watch any game that's on.

We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday and were quoted about a 45-minute wait for a table, but luckily the bar was open. We grabbed seats at the end of a long table, which eventually turned into a fun little communal setup as the night went on. First up--a strawberry daiquiri, and honestly, one of the best we've ever had! You could actually taste the strawberries, and it was SO refreshing on a hot summer night. They also had a DJ playing a mix of 90s R&B, Latin dance/reggaeton and throwback party music along with the music videos. Total old-school MTV vibes, and we loved it. We ordered the carne asada tacos with chips and salsa. The salsa had a little kick without setting your mouth on fire, and the tacos were delicious. The restaurant overlooks the water and has a large patio that would be perfect once the weather cools down. Our bartenders/servers were fun, attentive and added to the experience. Definitely recommend Sonrisa if you're visiting Lake Las Vegas! My only suggestion: boost that AC or add a few more fans. It was WARM in there and we were definitely sweating by the end of dinner. So I happen to be in Lake Las Vegas touring some homes. To further familiarize ourselves with the…read morearea we decided to do a quick walk through of the village. Being as it was over 110 degrees we had to decide fast. We first stopped at Mimi's and looked at their menu, but their salads were over $60 so we quickly moved onto Sonrisa. We were destroyed by the sun and dying of thirst. Neither the waitress, hostess or food server got us any water for a good 5 mins. This is only noteworthy because the majority of the businesses here seem to get very little business (judging by all the spaces for lease and lack of foot traffic), so they should be MUCH more attentive to customers when they get them. The waitress finally got us our water, she had a small wedding party to attend to, so she gets a pass. But the others clearly could have given her an assist. I've worked in a restaurant and the best ones are when they work as a team with one common goal and help each other out. After that we got our orders in. I asked if the tacos were crispy or street tacos and she said "semi crisp". I've never heard this description before at a Mexican restaurant, it's either Dorado or soft. But what she meant was that they were crispy, just not out of the box, pan fried with some chew still. Which is great that's how I make it and like it. This brief interaction with the restaurant, combined with being located in somewhat of a "touristy" type location, had my expectations fairly low. But to our surprise, everyone really liked what they got. One thing that was really apparent was the abundance of protein in the beef tacos, carne asada burrito and fish tacos -- packed with meat. The beans had really good, rich, lardy flavor. I knew they'd be heavy and they were, but tasted great. The portions weren't huge but just enough, and I'm glad they weren't because you always leave a Mexican restaurant too full when you order combo plates. So heavy on the meat and light on the rice and beans, was surprisingly the way to go. I'm fairly certain the chips were made in house, didn't seem like any store bought ones I've ever had. The salsa had an initial marinara taste to it, but then the slight heat legitimized it. I always tell people I always prefer my Mexican food to "3 star" level -- simple, no frills, authentic. I don't want elevated, fusion, fancy presentation, etc. and Sonrisa really delivered on that. I'm not in Lake Las Vegas very often, but I would definitely come back here whenever I do. I hope they succeed as a business but need to step up the awareness of the staff to ensure it.

So yeah first time and we stated this to our server Naveah. We sat close to the bar. We were approached and ordered drinks. Brunch basics. I said I understand this is the home of the Championship Bloody Mary (2025 Hammers Bar Contest) yes it is. I ordered it and well it was pretty basic, not bad, not spectacular but that's okay! We ordered an app, Coma Rolls, took a while to come out and we expected to get entrees at the same time, nope app came first-good. But it came minus the Turkey Gravy. When we got the servers attention and asked she went to the kitchen and returned to tell us the chef said that it wasn't ready yet and would take another 20 min.?? Did we want White Gravy? No fine food comes out looking great. My Salmon Salad, when she proudly stated it was Sushi Grade Salmon I was sold was really overdone The remainder of the salad was very enjoyable. My wife asked for a Club Lightly Toasted- no problem. It was Super Toasted and hard to eat for her. Also the menu said House Smoked Turkey, sorry but this is sliced Deli Turkey from a supplier. The Strawberry smash was really hard to drink due to the chunks of muddled strawberry in the bottom of the glass and the slim straw. Would have been better made from fresh purée and a bigger straw. So you are probably thinking I am being picky. Well perhaps but when you go out a place really needs to make your visits memorable in order to get you to come back. Not saying we won't but... As a long time resident of Henderson and restaurant owners ourselves, my daughter, my son-in-law,…read moremy grandbaby, and myself decided to go enjoy a nice meal at this restaurant. It was middle of the week early afternoon probably about 4 o'clock 4:30 by the time we got there As we walked into the establishment, we were greeted by this gentleman at which point told us we could not come in because we did not have a reservation, after he had made a complete stare at my grandson. He did not offer us a later table, a table outside or he did not for us of a place down the street at Wine bar coffee shop that we could go ahead and get some little bar bites. Left feeling overall unwanted. Knowing that associated with each other, my daughter recommended the little wine bar that had the bar bites so we went in. with a very pleasant young lady working all by herself, but she's very very pleasant so we sat had a glass of wine ordered some food. We ordered the basket of bread, meatballs, gnocchi, and then fried calamari. The best part of this little meal to me was the basket of bread where it came with prepackaged cookies, or crackers other than that, the meatballs were pretty good. They were cold by the time they got to us, but they need more flavor flavoring. So I asked the lovely lady at the wine bar. If this food was comparable to the actual restaurant, she said yes this so we will not be going to this Italian restaurant.
