AAA ordered road side service, Elijah was not a great listener, I'm in between exits unknown to me however I first stated I was before the "89" offramp. When someone is in need of road service there's no need to be inpatient and short because I didn't know the names of where my car broke down. There are other stresses involved as it is. Bottom line he said since I didn't know where I was he could let AAA know to send another service to help me. After 30 minutes of waiting, in 95 degree heat and off a major highway. Wow! Not even sure why AAA after all these years of being a customer would use such an I'm unempathetic and unprofessional company. God actually did send an angel to my rescue and took care of me. Think twice about using this company. I would not recommend or refer if it was the last place on earth. Say a prayer it works way better! read more

I have used Las Lunas several times and found them happily to be very fully engaging paying attention to all. & their work is excellent and they have always come in lower than the estimate. it is a clean shop and friendly. they also sold a car for me when I had to move away and could not sell it in time. they are perfectly honest and handled everything for me totally including putting on a dealer plate so I could remove my insurance. We recently experienced a blowout on I-19. We called Triple A and they sent out a tow truck to help us get home. Daniel, our operator from Luna's Auto Service picked us up, made sure we were safe, loaded our Jeep onto the tow truck, and then got us safely back to our home in Tubac. Bought a truck that did not want to start after two weeks without warning. First thought was a fuel pump. As usual, the big money I thought it was going to cost me turned out to be less than expected. This seems to happen every time. A lot of places you take your vehicle to will make sure it costs as much as you think it will, or more, even when they find out it is not as bad as it seemed. Turns out, the real problem was the cam sensor. About 600 -700 cheaper overall than I anticipated. There is no greed with them. They search for the true problem no matter what it appears to be at first, even when it means less money made. They are all super friendly and helpful always. I have never had a bad experience with them. After, they performed this job I asked them to inspect this vehicle for any other needs because I don't know its history. They did inspect it and came up with two items that needed attention. This is a 2006 vehicle. You know there is truth in everything they do when they only bring back two mechanical concerns on an aged vehicle. Stopped in at 8 a.m. to have my brakes looked at. By 10:30 a.m. it was done. Both rotors and pads replaced for a very honest price. It is hard to get a 5 star, but the service, price, and friendliness was exceptional. Would recommend this family run shop to anyone in a heartbeat. Drove my car over on my donut spare tire, with the flat tire in my car. Despite being quite busy, they took me immediately. Fixed the flat. Fixed a bent spot on the tire rim. into place and remounted the tire. All for $20. On top of that everyone was very nice. 5 stars! read more

On the first stage of moving from the Altar Valley to Colorado, I broke down between Arivaca and Amado last night after hours. After convincing the AAA dispatcher that both Arivaca and Amado are actual places, Bill from Luna's showed up with his flatbed and a jump box. We figured the alternator was shot and, considering that I had a U-haul trailer with all of my plunder and two dogs in the cab, Bill devised a plan to nurse the truck to their shop. They were kind enough to let me roll out my bedroll out front for the night, and when Bill and Jessie (the owner) got to work just after sunrise, Bill had a thermos of that lifesaving nectar, coffee. That bit alone was above and beyond, but they had the alternator replaced and me up and running before nine this morning. These are good guys and they run a tight ship, if you are stuck or just need work done on your rig in the Santa Cruz Valley, look for Luna's! read more

I've used Luna's on a number of occasions and they have always been more than helpful. They are a AAA provider so you can use them for roadside. I have also taken my vehicle there several times for repairs. His prices are much better than the dealer.
