The Lunch Box appears to be the only restaurant in town with breakfast. Well there is a bakery but here is full service. So we were looking forward to a nice dine-in breakfast. Social distancing and masks required, we arrived just about lunch time but thankfully their breakfast menu goes until 2:00 PM closing. We were seated immediately. My wife ordered coffee and I opted for Raspberry Tea, which was very good. My wife ordered a cherry almond muffin. It was warm, juicy and loaded with Michigan cherries. I did have to try a piece. Delightful! She ordered the Hobble Pobble skillet with ham, eggs, cheese, potatoes, onions and peppers. She enjoyed it very much. I opted for the Country Style Eggs Benedict. I have eaten several varieties of this, the common bond being poached eggs and sausage gravy. This plate had a potato pancake on bottom, sausage party, two poached eggs on top and covered with sausage gravy. Sausage and gravy were great but I am not a fan of potato pancakes as a part. They have a great biscuit which would have made a better base. Also the eggs were slightly overcooked. I prefer the yolk running and mixing with other ingredients. It was good, not excellent.

Sunday morning, had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. Great home-cooked breakfast. Service was good, with only two girls busting their ass. Couldn't ask for a better meal in Bellaire!

    Nice and clean

The staff is as rude as any I have ever seen. We should have turned around the moment we walked in. STAY AWAY!!!!

Price was ok. Biscuits and gravy oddly priced and very light on the sausage. But unique flavor. Scramble was well portioned and very good.

A great little place for breakfast. Friendly staff and good food. Conveniently located plenty of parking in the rear.

We got carry out today. It took only 10 mins, the staff was nice, and the sandwiches were awesome!

We…read morewere running tardy for our reservations due to flooded roads, but the staff was very understanding. Placed at a cozy table indoors & bottled water arrived immediately. Our waitress smiled warmly as we opted for beverage orders. Just as I'm ready to go with the Oregon Pinot Noir, my eye catches a "Black Manhattan" on the cocktail menu. Well they set the fishing hook right into my cheek. Obviously I had to roll the dice. Huge drink garnished with Italian maraschino cherries. Brilliant Concussion! Simply delish! Okay, now on to their small plate listings. I opted for a Seafood pasta, speckled with shrimp, clams & a mussel or two - genius. Linda selected their sliced filet mignon, which you could cut with your fork - perfect medium rare. Also her salad serving was cleaned up with great enthusiasm. Our dear dining friends loved their choices also. Oh I almost forgot, Taylor's French Onion soup was over the top. The room was very pleasant with soft tones and lower ceilings. Now far from me being a wall flower, I inquired about the Chef. Waited for perhaps 15 seconds and simply strolled into the back of the house (kitchen) & asked to met the Chef. Taylor appeared around the corner with the look on his face like "hell's bells this guy didn't like my cooking!". WRONG! Completely caught off guard as I expounded about his creativity and presentations. Love this little gem in Bellaire. Have missed the Rowe Inn & Tapawingo over the years, but the 26 minute drive is SO worth it. Call them for reservations as the staff is limited, but attentive. Hope to met Maggie next visit. Plan to dine again next week
