Great, organic, tasty sounding menu options for breakfast served from 9 to 3 pm, lunch (which I ordered something to go at 10 am) and they have some delicious looking dinner options available after 5 pm. They have a soup of the day that I'm going to add to my to go order. It's a small spot with about 5 stools at a stocked bar and about 7 tables, but this must be by design so they can really focus on good food for the few tables. Love that they are open late on a Sunday! We sat at the bar, and our bartender was friendly, taking our orders promptly, checking up on us, and making just the right amount of conversation. We ordered craft beers, the Blackened Shrimp Tostada special, and the Southern Pride BLT sandwich. The tostada was very fresh-tasting and the shrimp was perfectly cleaned and cooked--not rubbery at all with a nice spice to it. The BLT was super heavy of course, with bacon, fried green tomatoes, and pimiento cheese (my favorite). The sandwich tasted great, but I do think the tomatoes were sliced too thick and could have been fried a little better. This place is tiny! Glad we got here when they opened or we would have never gotten a seat! We had a table of four and everyone loved their meal. Great selection of draft beer and wine too. We had the sampler appetizer to start and it was a great way to taste some of their delicious options. We have loved Lunch or Supper for years. Great food and drinks. And now we love Urban Roost Beer Garden too! I hosted a birthday party there and the staff could not have been more helpful and easy to work with. The catering department was so flexible as my party size grew a bunch in the last few days. This place is tiny inside so you may have to wait a bit for a table depending on when you go, but it's worth it! If you love comfort food, southern cuisine, delicious cocktails, etc, you'll love this place! Brunch was excellent. We only waited about 5 minutes for a table on the Lunch side which was awesome. We couldn't have asked for a better meal. This is an over-the-top meat-eater's paradise. Really friendly service, really tasty bacon, and the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had. That being said, my husband and I walked out after our meal and agreed that it was fun once, but more as a novelty than as a restaurant we'd love to return to. It feels like someone got tired of all vegetarian and vegan restaurants and menu items in Richmond, and this is their answer - restaurant with a menu so meat and animal-product focused that there's no way a vegan could eat a bite here. And that's ok. What we didn't love is how the entrees were a little too rich and too heavy, and that's saying something - because we've never met a greasy meal we didn't both love. But this was too much. It was fun, and some things tasted awesome, but there's too many good restaurants in Richmond that don't feel like you'll be wheeled out to a cardiac unit on a stretcher when you're done eating there. read more

Came here for a weekday lunch. The menu is great, with lots of options. It was pretty quiet, the servers were attentive and nice. The food took a long time to come out, especially cause the place wasn't busy, but the food came out hot and fresh. I would definitely come back for dinner if I lived in Richmond. read more

This time we started with the crab dip which was full of flavor and amazing with the homemade pita. I had the meatloaf for dinner and it did not disappoint! The brussels sprouts and homemade mashed potatoes were the perfect sides for the dish. I boxed up half of my dinner so I had room for dessert. We tried the brownie sundae and it was delicious! If customers come to Supper! to eat, get on a weight list, and you walk them over to lunch because there are seats there, you should tell them that not everything in one place is available at the other based on the online information. If we were walked over I suspect the menu items could be as well...even with different owners. Please let people know because with food allergies, some of us are relying on the online menu to tell us if your establishment is a safe place for us to eat. The problem was that we were not the only ones who were not informed that menu items are not the same. Three instead of 2 stars is because the waitress apologized to the couple behind us for the issue and explained that we should have been told. Thank you. read more
