We were coming here for a birthday and called at 11am to make a reservation. Jacquelyn, the manager who took the call, was irritated we did not want to do a set menu for the group. We started arriving 30 minutes prior to the requested and still had to wait over an hour. They did not have the area ready and said we would just have to wait. After waiting over an hour, she then decided they can put us in what they use for their private room. Our party size was 37. This was extremely irritating. I would not come back here because of this. My husband and I went here for his birthday lunch. He was excited to have his favorite fajitas when they brought out a grey, undercooked, and chewy batch of beef fajitas. Very disappointed in a group dinner last night. I have dined at this location enough times now to say they are very inconsistent with their food. My go to that I have recommended to many are the chicken soft tacos. Ladt night they came out luke warm and the chicken "chunks" had zero flavor/no seasoning at all. FOOD POISONING -- DO NOT RECOMMEND! I ordered chicken nachos to-go yesterday evening. When I picked them up, they were cold. I still ate them bc I picked them up 8 mins late so just assumed that's why they were cold. A few hours later, I got super sick (vomited and other symptoms). I vomited all of the nachos for over an hour and still feel sick this am. I do not have a sensitive stomach at all, but the food poisoning from here has ruined my Easter Sunday. read more

Julio was so slow and he only had 2 other tables besides mine when I got there. When I ask for water with extra lemons that means more than one. I'm not sure why enchiladas don't come with beans but they will charge you $2 bucks for them even though you get free unlimited beans with your chips and salsa. I hate to pull the race card but here it goes. I saw the manager stop by every table and ask them how their food was and if everything was ok except for my table of two and another black couple sitting across the way at a booth. First time here! The service was great, the food vs. the price was worth the value and the seasonal blood orange margarita was nicely made. We sat the bar, Kory, was our waiter and appropriately attentive. He was engaging, had a try a nice tequila and gave us a complimentary dessert. What a pleasant first visit! First and last time we will come here. Too many reasons for our decision. First, the host Hispanic older lady had a look of disgust when addressing us. We wanted to sit at a booth and her concern was that 6 plates wouldn't fit in it. 3 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. I assured her that only the adults would have plates. My children would not take much space since they would only share 1 kids plate. She continued to just advise and I had to reassure her we would be fine. like it was an inconvenience to her. our server, Hispanic man didn't get our drinks right, not once offered refills or checked on our table. We asked if we could sit outside or elsewhere because the party next to us were very loud and we got told no 2 different times. I suffer from severe anxiety and I had anxiety the whole time. I ordered the stuffed crab shrimp... they serve them on a hot skillet like fajitas and they burnt and stuck to the skillet. they were all very smokey and had a burnt taste to them. Our waitress was Brenna she was very attentive and knowledgeable. She first asked if it was our first visit there and since it was she told us that they are best known for their Lime pepper marinated fajitas and offer us appetizers and drinks. She then gave us plenty of time to look at the menu. She was on top of drink refills and GM also checked to see if everything was good. Food was very good! Good portions. Food Poisoning! Had a pleasant dinner with family Saturday evening but unfortunately later that night 5 of 10 were very very sick, a few violently sick lasting over 24 hours. (without going into disgusting details). Others had nausea and upset stomachs. I called and explained what happed and was told I'd get a call the next day. I waited for the General manager to call (never did) called back again spoke to Roman (manager). Complete waste of time, he said his apologies and offered a gift card, though not genuine or sincere. Typical response that no one else has complained. So I guess five is not a big enough number to worry about. Pretty much too bad so sad. I did call their corporate offices and left a message and have also given this information to the health department. I am posting on Nextdoor in the Fairfield area to see if anyone else experienced issues. If anyone else ate their (290 Fairfield) the evening of 12/19/2021 and were later sick please call the store and let them know. Terrible to know that this is a well reputable establishment in the Houston area and definitely has some issues with improper food handling and or temperature. It's unfortunate that they are so quick to dismiss a clients concerns and issues. Obviously customer service is not their forte. PLEASE be wary of this place, I know the food is good and was good that night but the after affects we're not good and certainly not worth the amount money spent and wasted for 10 people. The food here is always delicious and we get wonderful service too. Chips come with salsa and beans ...our favorite. Ambience is terrific. I recommend you bring a light jacket if you are easily chilled as they really crank the A/C down. It gets crowded here so plan on eating early or plan to wait. read more

Friday evening we went to dinner and didn't have great service in the beginning. The waiter was not attentive and forgetful. He forgot our drinks and straws and took too long to check in with us. He seemed very scatter brained. This was the second time I had him as our server and both times were a disappointment. He was very sarcastic and not service friendly. He kept reaching over me and bumping me. Not very courteous or careful. The waiter then dropped a drink on my friend's back which was a huge scene. His back was soaked and tiny pieces of glass stuck to the back of his shirt. The manager came over to see if he was okay and comped his two beers was all. We asked for a different server by that point and the new waitress came and did a great job for us. She's the only reason for the extra star. I wish we had her from the beginning. This is a great place! Very nice atmosphere, and the food is great. They give you warm bean dip with very fresh chips. You could make a meal on that alone! Try the fajita wrap. It was excellent!! Their food is great, margaritas are good, but they don't actually deliver food even though their site says they do. We have gotten delivery from them before but almost every time we have to argue with someone at the restaurant about it. They usually tell us we are more than 7 minutes away and that it's company policy but when we talked to corporate they said that isn't how works and they should deliver to us because we are inside their delivery area. They have given other excuses as well that is just the normal one. Last Friday I called and they said never order delivery on Friday or Saturday because we won't deliver to you on Friday or Saturday. So I called again today on Wednesday and they said they couldn't deliver because it was more than 7 minutes to deliver to us. Their customer service is less than ideal when it comes to delivery service. read more

Came in on grand opening night. The place was working like a well oiled machine. All of the drinks were right and the beer was in a cold glass. The new clio plan flows very well. The food was "right on" and fullybup to Lupe's high quality. It's a real testament to preparation and an eye to perfection BEFORE they opened. Had the barbacoa tacos and they were fantastic. Everything was top notch. Thank you Lupes for finally bringing us a location to the Cypress area! Also the hostesses were very kind and professional. Walked in and was greeted by hostess and seated immediately. The manager came by and took our drink order. Our waiter (Warren) came by and was a little confused and very challenged by understanding how to take an order. It was very loud so we asked a manager if we could be moved to another table and she was fine with it but our waiter seemed very annoyed. At that point, I thought to ask for another waiter but didn't but should have. It was downhill from there. The waiter was so rude and asked ridiculous questions (do you want sour cream with your fajitas, etc). Didn't refill my husband's water and when we asked he took forever. He kept asking if we were done, ready for the check, etc. Finally, I asked if they need the table and he actually looked around at I don't know what and said well no. When we asked for the check, he came back and literally threw it on the table in front of my husband without saying a word. That was the icing on this cake. We are big tippers and he never earned it. Will not return. Food was very mediocre and quantity was small and not worth the price at all but that's not what left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't go here if you have food allergies. The Lupe in Houston was great so assumed all would be good. Didn't see sour cream on the plate until after I fed my child who has a severe allergy. When we got our meal it had 12 shrimp (6 plain/6 with cheese wrapped in bacon). I told the waiter we did not order the additional shrimp. He said he entered it wrong and that he would take care of it. Asked if I wanted him to take it away. I told him my wife and I were hungry but he could do what he wanted. He left it.
