The food was mediocre and the waiter was good, then we went to the manager to complain about our to-go order taking ONE HOUR. The waiter kept updating us and apologizing, and I've been a waitress so I know it's not completely his fault, but then I went to ask the manager if it's normal to wait more than 45 minutes for a to-go order and he immediately threw the waiter under the bus and said that it's just been sitting there, BUT they are still waiting for the chicken breast portion. How is that ready to go and just sitting there? Who knows.... I continued by telling him how great out waiter was and that I know it's not his fault be I've worked in the industry before. Brought my daughters here for their first time as I came with a friend before & loved it. This time, NOT SO MUCH :( Hate that I just paid for us to be treated that way. We came for a snack after the lunch hour rush (2p) between school shopping. I would've thought the service would be exceptional considering how slow it was. I just asked for to-go boxes and the check as I was so irritated at this point. Not that it makes a difference but this was a grown lady NOT a young kid, she should've had better manners than to show up at a table while chewing food asking if everything was ok. I briefly thought we were being punked!! I WISH! Maybe at least then they'd pick up the ticket for us! Just sad as it seems you can't get good or even decent service anywhere anymore. Huge portions of good food. I was actually surprised by the quality of the food here. In general, I just expect average food from a TexMex joint. I especially liked the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ask for a side of sour cream to add to it and it's really nummy. The place can get loud, so this is not a restaurant for an intimate and quiet dinner. Ask for Mosley when you come in. He took excellent care of us. read more

You sit down (I've always sat at the bar) and they bring you the chips and salsa, but they also bring you a complimentary bowl of Borracho Beans. That alone is very cool. To be honest, the only thing I've ever had here in the three or four times I've done lunch is the Nachos Compuestos. They are very, very good, especially when you spoon those beans over them! I'm gonna ding a bit. I've tried to get in twice with the wife now for dinner and their wait, int he middle of the week was more than 30 minutes on each time. That could just be a function of being the new hotness, or it could be poor planning on the fault of the designers of the restaurant. I'll come back and revisit this at a late date. The staff has been generally attentive, though there have been a few times when the bartender has been too in the weeds to pay a lot of attention to keeping drinks filled or getting the check completed. Decided to give this place another shot... we love the food, but the restaurant is too chaotic we usually order online and get the food to go. We haven't done this in 6+ months because we had issues with the last 3 attempts - either waiting forever outside for the curbside service and/or the order being wrong. And the place ain't cheap. So we placed a $125+ order tonight that was supposed to be ready at 6:00PM. Drive down there to arrive right at 6:00PM and proceed to wait in the "Curbside To Go" spot for 30 minutes. I called the number on the sign and asked the manager if "curbside to go" actually meant "come inside and get your food"... he responded, "if you could come in that would really help us out, we're really busy"... as I stare into the window of a half-empty restaurant. So maybe y'all should staff up or train your people better or get rid of the idea of "curbside to go" since you have no real intention to deliver it. Its often covered in dirty tables, food rarely comes out at the same time. Often i have to send back dishes because of incorrect orders. Overall the food is well prepared and we enjoy our time there. We've been coming to this location for over two years now and we love it! The food, margaritas and staff. There's been a few times where a waiter forgot to grab us something simply because they were busy and had multiple tables to serve on. There's also been times where we go when it's just opening and not many people are there and still we get a waiter that forgot something like a refill or another fork because we dropped ours on the floor, etc. I want to give a huge recognition to our waiter Angel just a few days ago we went on a Saturday night when they are the busiest! Angel not only got everything right he went above and beyond offering ice cream and continually followed up with us to make sure we have everything we need. I applaud Angel for his courtesy and professionalism. We are a family of 4 with an 8 month old so we always ask for things and this dude didn't miss anything we asked for. Neither one of us have ever experienced a complimentary sample of a restaurant's cuisine as first time diners. Though it wasn't my first time, it was his and they made sure he wouldn't forget it! We had an excellent lunch experience on Halloween. We were greeted by the most genuinely happy hostess as soon as we walked in. Our server was very speedy and friendly as well. Everything I've had here has been amazing. I love the Tortilla Soup, and if course the fajitas are amazing. You won't be disappointed in the taco salad either!
