Our food came super quickly and tasted so good! We got the chicken burrito (which was super big) and the chicken plate; the chicken is super juicy and flavorful. Restaurant was clean and felt comfortable. Only takeaway was that the plate was on the expensive side for the amount of food.

Been a regular at Lupe's for many years, love their quality service and clean interior seating area.

Lupes burrito Bien chiquitito por $12 Never coming here again

Use to be the spot to go to not anymore !! Ya no los hacen como antes TINY BURRITOS overpriced!!! Good burritos but for the price I can get them bigger and better down the street in convoy

If you value your hard earned money don't eat here. $15 for a breakfast burrito that is half the size of a typical SoCal taco shop burrito. Maybe a 1/2lb burrito in total. Photo bellow for reference. 4 of the mini 1oz salsa cups. Make it make sense. * update* After trying to consume burrito it's worse than imagined lmao. So much grease. What are you guys doing

Came here for lunch & the gal behind the counter was exceptional - super friendly & helpful! I got an Al pastor taco & carnitas taco, along w/ a barbacoa style pollo taco to go. While waiting peeked at the adorable restaurant area, separate frm the cashier & the colors are vibrant & sharp; will eat in next time! The tortillas were fresh & held up amazingly! I'd hoped the pastor would have pineapple salsa but didn't; will ask next time. The barbacoa had pickled onions on it that were zippy. My favorite was the carnitas - delicious flavor. The food was eaten way too quickly; sorry no pic.

One of my go to places for Al pastor. They have great TJ tacos and Cali burritos. The service can be a little slow at times, but I'd rather wait for good food. They recently redecorated the inside and it looks amazing! It's a nice place to go eat with friends and family.

The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I love their Al Pastor Taco and California Burrito. The service is always friendly and attentive. ¡Buen provecho!

I lo coming here when I need a quick lunch grab. I work close so it's so convenient and the service and food are good! My go to's : TJ tacos Al pastor and the potato tacos.

Smallest order of any type of fries I've ever gotten didn't have cheese,, sauce,, trash

Worst experience ever. Ordered an order of birria fries,, a quesadilla,, chips,, guacamole and the smallest container of ceviche. Paid over $50 for the food and left a tip. $9 for a quesadilla and $18 for birria fries that were missing half the ingredients listed on the menu. Called to get my money back they told me to call back in 15-20 min to speak with a manager. They wouldn't answer the phone. Trash food,, trash customer service. Will never return here again.

For some reason I had really low expectation of this place. Maybe because it's by the college and random corner plaza. I am overly shocked at how good this place was and can't be judgy. When you walk to the back, it's like a club! You got tvs playing sports and another tv playing a deejay spinning music with LED lights along the walls. They have breakfast items until 2pm like chilaquiles, veggie items, kids meal, quesadillas, plates, burritos, combos. California burrito is what I get when it's my first time. I'm blown away at the steak flavor, the soft tortilla, the fries were crispy and not your typical fries. Had guacamole, cheese and sour cream. Not to mention it was a hefty burrito that I only ate half. It came with chips. We also got al pastor taco, beer battered fish and carnitas taco. All delicious. Each had their own toppings that brought out all the flavors. Will definitely be coming back when we're craving Mexican food.

Super dark and I mean dark, it'll take a minute for your eyes to adjust. Tapas style menu, we were a party of 4 and ordered: Squash blossom Relleno - it's the flower part of a squash plant and stuffed with mushroom duxelles which resembles a meat mixture with squash succotash. Outside is a corn tempura with a tomato base sauce. Pulpo-grilled octopus, one of the best texture and perfectly grilled skin with a chewy yet soft interior. The sauce has a slight kick and crunch from the corn nuts. Crab corn doughnut- this is their specialty and we were about to skip out but glad we didn't. The brioche bun had a donut batter with lumps of crab salad and corn mixture on top. El Festin- perfect for our party of 4 because it was a platter full of 4 Cheese quesadilla, 4 shrimp, 4 chicken slices, 1 jalapeño bacon wrap, ribeye. Flan-we should have each ordered one ourselves! Great flavors and texture, the top had ancient chocolate soil and had crispy corn nuts. Different but yummy. Overall, delicious food that came out so quick, great ambiance, we celebrated our birthdays and were each gifted candles with our names on the label. Truly amazing from beginning to end. Drinks took long after finishing our app. Ordered the mezcal in addition to our drinks and took even longer. Donut crab was actually good. I will give them that. We ordered the big ribeye entree and with the rec of the server would be more than enough- wrong. Ambience- looks better on social media than in person. Super small, they don't use half of the restaurant during weekdays to make it seem more full. After $260 of a tab, we were kicked off of our table (at 8:30, 1.5 hours after getting there) for another reservation directly after paying the tab. I needed to wait for my uber outside. Honest review- check my page as I RARELY make 1 star reviews. Never again.

It's always a great place to stop before or after going to the airport because it's that close. We originally went there for an early dinner, but happened to meet the happy hour time frame (3:30-5:30). They have a wonderful array of drinks and appetizers to choose from. The most expensive being $11.00. Each appetizer is enough for two people. A man at the bar asked me if I wanted some of his guacamole dip because he could finish it all. He looked like that was his dinner meal too. I declined, since I was favoring the ceviche and chicken tinga tostadas. Both tasted delicious. I heard the bacon wrapped jalapeño were good but not gf. So I didn't try them. The views from our table were spectacular. They had many GF options listed on their menu. Our waiter, Jared, (so helpful and attentive), told me which items are more gluten sensitive and which ones were gluten free. The drinks were tasty and refreshing too. Definitely a place I'll be going back to with family and friends

An Unforgettable Birthday Celebration!…read more I took my husband here for his birthday this past Monday, and the entire experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. First, the location and the views are simply stunning. It set the perfect backdrop for a celebratory evening. But what really elevated the vibe was the music! The playlist was so on point that I literally found myself dancing in my seat to every single song. It created such a fun, lively energy. I also have to give a massive shoutout to our waiter, who was incredibly attentive, warm, and anticipated our every need. The entire staff went above and beyond to make my husband feel so wonderfully celebrated. From a sweet little "Happy Birthday" sign to a surprise dessert at the end of the meal, every detail was thoughtful and perfectly executed. This place is truly incredible. We will absolutely be back!

It was grilled perfectly here! The chunks were big enough so you get the squid flavor. It also comes with a sweet/spicy sauce which was unexpected but really yummy. -Battered Fish Taco: my favorite dish! Huge flaky piece of fish that's fried really well. We left right away to pick up the food and sure enough it was ready waiting for our arrival. One quick drive back home to dig in and the aroma was so enticing. California Burritos is very apt for their name, my bf rates it a 10/10. As a California Burrito connoisseur, he liked the addition of sour cream in it and said the flavors were delicious. He topped it with their green salsa for a little bit of a freshness to cut through the richness and fattiness of the meat and fries in the burrito. He didn't care for the fish taco that much and rated it a 4/10 but said the restaurant overall was a 10/10, as he thought there was too much lettuce and tomato throwing off the ratio of the taco. I, on the other hand, am a huge fan of veggies and liked the ample amount they provided. ---- There's a couple benches outside in front of the shop and seating at booth tables inside as well. It's a bit smaller to sit inside, I recommend sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air and the sunset is beautiful. ---- Overall: if you're in the mood for California Burritos come to the place rightly named California Burritos!
