The salsas here are really good! I love spicy food and the salsa here has a kick!! Both the red and the green. And the habanero salsa is really like a habanero should be! I ordered 2 carne asada burritos for takeout from here. The flavor was actually really good, but the burritos were SO SMALL... honestly barely the size of hands! For $12+some change each, I was expecting something more filling. I do appreciate their sauce bar though. The jalapeños had a nice kick and the onions were flavorful and quite good. They also have a good variety of sauce options to select from. But their sauce cups are also small af! The employee who handed me my takeout was friendly and quick. Overall, tasty but not worth the price for the portion size. Inflation must've hit their shop hard - those portions are downsized!! Burritos Santana is quickly becoming a favorite of ours. The first time we visited OMG, I dunno if it was just pure exhaustion or what, but this was the best Cali (carnitas) burrito I've had in long while! Tired and frozen after working a full day on the weekend (till like 10pm!). I wasn't planning on working super late without any dinner, so I was in desperate need of fuel... something filling and satisfying. Came here because it was close to home and still open. There were a few other customers that came about the same time as me, while I was trying to decide what I wanted. They said it was all good! Must've been regulars. They weren't wrong and absolutely hit the spot! Between the hubs and I we consistently order our favs. Every once and awhile we change it up, but we always come back to these! Can't go wrong! Mine: California Carnitas burritos, no pico, add guacamole - juicy, flavorful, and it's huge! His: Beef taco (hard shell) and two cheese enchiladas combo. He loves that crunchy taco and the enchiladas are just comfort. Other things we've tried... - Fajitas burrito: Fairly wet burrito, be prepared for it to fall apart, but delicious! - Carnitas quesadilla: huge and filling. - Carnitas taco (hard shell) - by special request, not on menu, obviously we like the carnitas here! - Achiotea Chicken Taco (hard shell): This was surprisingly delicious. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. - Carne asada fries (half order): This completely filled the box. Don't know what to expect if it was a full order! This was pretty good and very filling. On our last visit I wanted to try a hard shell taco with carnitas. They typically make hard shell tacos with beef or chicken, even mashed potatoes, but not with carnitas. Lucky for me the owner Daniel overhead me asking and told the cashier they can make it for me. Great, thanks!!! So many options to try on the menu. They have daily specials and Happy hour daily from 2-4 pm where you can get any burrito and a small drink for $10! Deal! My next must try is the hash brown burrito! There is one warning, this parking lot is always crazy packed because of McGregor's. Finding a spot sometimes can be tricky and you could be circling the lot a few times. Been here once during COVID and it was terrible so we never came back. Decided to give it another chance and I was shocked that we liked it. Either it was new management or new chef, but the burritos were comparable to other places. We got California burrito ($11.35) and carne asada burrito ($11.75). It wasn't the largest but it was flavorful. Fresh guacamole in the carne asada. The meat was a bit tough hit what do you expect for the price? My fries were a bit soggy so I would ask for well done next time to get some extra crisp. We were so hungry that I didn't take any photos of the food. This place has low prices and a lot to offer. Very big menu and the photos along the walls. They have daily 2pm-4pm $10 any burrito special with a small drink. What a steal! For sure we'll be back to try other items. read more

I want to like this place, but it is just really inconsistent. For good, I will say their bright orange salsa on their salsa bar (I assume habanero) brings the heat in the way I haven't found at other taco shops. For bad, I've had experiences where I was double-charged, and then tonight, I was the only person in there (other than some online orders), and I order, wait a few minutes, the guy bags it up for me, I get home, and my order is a totally different burrito from what I ordered. I had ordered the hot Cheeto burrito and received a breakfast ham and potato. It wasn't bad by any means, but it was a bummer to get home only to realize the wrong thing. I kind of hate to complain in reviews when it was probably just a simple mistake, so I would just say be careful to check your food before you leave the store if you are concerned. This taco shop has no quality control for their burritos or their salsa. This was suppose to be a chicken burrito and it's clearly meat. We cannot eat carne asada so hence we ordered a chicken burrito. I don't know how you can write grilled chicken and clearly roll up and carne asada burrito. The salsa bar had reminisce of salsa but mainly crusty remaining liquid. No salsa was offered besides that germ infested salsa bar which again was lacking salsa in general. Really wish we would have chosen a better spot. Every-time we go here it's pure disappointment. My dad lives close so it's convenient but next time we will just go to other side by mission gorge because their taco shop actually has quality in their food and care about the customer. Ordered a california burrito off Uber Eats and I was shocked by how tiny this burrito is. Seriously this is the smallest burrito, by far, that I've ever received from a mexican restaurant. The food came out quick however I was surprised and disappointed by the size of the shrimp in the soup, not as advertised. The soup itself was also bland. The Hot Cheeto Fries contained about 10 stale hot cheetos and the Fresas con Crema had 4 frozen strawberry slices in it. The meal in total was nearly $50 and overall bad. I am not even lying I eat at this place every other day because the food here is so bomb! I normally eat the carne asada nachos with extra sour cream and guacamole on the side or I will get the hash brown burrito with no bacon and that is so freakin good. The staff is very nice. Daniel always has good customer service and I noticed that he is cooking now as well. And he cooks very well just as good as the normal cook. Open 24 hours they have a wide variety of burritos and the usual Mexican items.  I like that they have half orders of their chips and fries.  Sometimes a full order of carne asada chips or fries is to much.   They also have different variations of chips and fries, more so then I am used to seeing.  One of the options is chipotle chicken and a surf n turf fries. My half order of carne asada chips dining in looked pretty massive for a half order.  It tasted pretty good but did not seem to have to much carne asada.  It plenty of other toppings though. read more

Horrible! Very disappointed. $20 of crap food. Ordered cheese enchiladas with special request for flour tortillas not corn, they charged me an additional 1$- no biggie. So... we got corn tortillas and then a flour tortilla on the side? Really? And to make it worse... I honestly can't even find the 'enchiladas' it is a hot mess of cheese corn tortillas more cheese... and the cheese is I don't even no how to explain.. like so overcooked and melted It just looks like a pile of hot melted cheese with a gang of Grease, I think the tortillas are cooked at the bottom? Covered in red sauce that mixed with the cheese grease mess. Sorry but took a bite- gross! Throwing away. Dish number 2! Rolled tacos. Can't be so bad? Special request: please make them extra crispy so they are not soggy in the middle. Well, not only are they soggy on the middle, they are soggy from start to finish. Even the ends are soggy! Only thing I can say is the toppings were good. We cut them open to give my dog the meat inside and throwing them away too. By the way, not like me, even if they are not perfect I would still eat them, but these are pretty soggy! Not worth the calories.
