A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. Email info could easily have been conveyed in a 5-minute phone call, but when I called, the representative didn't know anything about scheduling. 3. A third-party cleaner comes to your house. This means there isn't consistency in quality. The cleaners complained that there was too much work and that it would take a 2-person team 4 hours to do the work (clean 1.5 bathrooms, put about less than 10 dishes in the dishwasher). One worker did dishes only during this time (at $40/hr, that's about $4/dish). The other cleaned the bathrooms. And of course they finished in less than 1 hour. 4. Communication with the third-party cleaner was poor. After all the time I spent emailing about what would be included, none of the details they asked about were conveyed. This was part of the time I paid for, because 1 worker called their supervisor to try to get out of doing the work.

While I did see a few 1 and 2-star ratings, after reading those reviews I found most of them to be weird complaints from years and years ago. They're not indicative of current service. The promptness and attentiveness, combined with being intentional about explaining their services and answering questions in a reasonable amount of time, showed to me they were taking their work seriously. I started with a Deep Cleaning, which was just finished today. They did a great job. They caught little issues other house cleaners have ignored (dust under the fridge, for example) and went above and beyond to make the beds in a nice and well-presented manner. I understand mistakes happen, but it was not reported, just propped up to hide that it was broken. I reported the issue and a service rep got back to me and ending up giving me a small refund of $40. Fast forwards several weeks, I received a text message about a promo and decided to move forward with booking, with a willingness to commit to several cleanings with this company. I was told that I had been scheduled and confirmed, only for 10 min later to receive another message stating "After reviewing availability and internal guidelines, we're not able to move forward with this promotion." I asked if this was because of my feedback from my initial appointment and received no response. I then decided to try calling and it was at the time I realized that I was blocked. Their ETA was consistently wrong, and they even lied to me about the cleaner's arrival at one point - the operator told me that the cleaner could not find parking at our location, but there was ample street parking outside at the time. After waiting 90 minutes and with the cleaners nowhere to be seen and the movers arriving soon, I had to cancel the scheduled cleaning service. There was no apology or accountability for their lack of punctuality and dishonesty. I cannot recommend Patricia's Cleaning Services to anyone.
