Had just purchased two sets of Figs scrubs on their black Friday sale. They did not offer embroidery on theses sale items, but the price was too low to pass up. I had gotten other scrubs embroidered with my name on the left chest by a uniform shop. However since COVID, many uniform shops have closed. I took my scrub tops to one uniform shop in Torrance and they said they did not embroider. I did a google search and found Lur Embroidery on Western south of PCH. I took my two scrubs there and Griselda met me with a friendly smile and showed my the many fonts to choose from. She quoted me a reasonable price for my two scrubs and said they would be ready 8 days and she would text me when they were ready. On the morning of the 8th day, I got a text like promised. I've been coming to Griselda for my embroidery needs for the last 1-2 years, and she goes above and beyond to make sure your visions become a reality! We have had multiple different projects completed: embroidered blankets, embroidered jackets, embroidered fanny packs. She is always very easy to reach, completes both smaller projects and larger ones (we've done orders of 10 jackets, 70 blankets, etc), and she ensures that timely updates are shared. Our most recent project was ~60 fanny packs with custom embroidery. I checked online, and a local embroidery place in Redondo Beach, and needless to say the prices were either very high (locally) or you'd risk not getting what you wanted online. I got a ad in the mail the other day for Lur Embroidery so I thought I'd check them out. I called Griselda who was very helpful. I emailed her my logo and she was able to show me a computer generated mockup of what the embroidery would look like, stich for stich, pretty neat! Her prices were extremely reasonable. Her setup cost was a small fraction of what I was quoted at Embroid Me, and her per-shirt prices were also very good. So I brought in a couple shirts I wanted to embroider, and she measured them and then looking at her catalog I picked out a couple more of the same size/dimensions and ordered additional shirts. I got all of them back and the quality is excellent. Needless to say, I'm very pleased, and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to her for custom embroidered shirts! read more
