She makes sure my hair is always evenly toned and the head massage while getting shampooed is an extra perk. So heres the thing ive been coming to this salon for about a year ive been getting my hair done with one of the ladies here for a while. I scheduled an appointment online last week on monday for the easter weekend on saturday for 1230. First they call me on saturday morning asking if i could come in at 1 instead i said yeah of course thats fine. Mind you i have this appointment scheduled for a week now. I drive 25 mins to get there once i get there i sit and wait after i check in. My hairstylist says hey i dont feel good i feel sick. I totally understand someone not feeling good. What i dont understand is instead of changing the time if someone knew she was sick or if she knew she was not feeling good why wait until last minute until i get there too say oh actually i cant do your hair today. Like come on! Why didnt someone let me know ahead of time that morning when they called me to change the appointment time so that i didnt have to waste my time and be upset after i had this appointment scheduled for a week now. So they try to fit me in but dont have anything else that day so i end up hesitantly scheduling an appointment for friday. I leave the place and my hairstylist doesnt come to me to apologize or anything. I end up calling back once i leave 20 mins later to cancel the appointment because im so upset at the customer service. Ive never had any issues ive been coming here for a while. So the lady tells me im sorry about that we will throw in a complimentary conditioning treatment im like i just want to cancel the appointment im just not happy with the customer service you know she says the manager will call me to talk to me about it. Its been 4 days and i had to call them because my security deposit of $16 for the saturday appointment had not been returned to my bank account. I let her know when i call i explain what happened the day of my appointment i tell her the manager was supposed to call me and never did. She puts me on hold comes back and says well the money should be going back to you im going to refund it. Completely disregards the situation the manager never spoke to me and thats the end of it. I completely understand someone not feeling well but thats now how you treat your customers im not new ive consistently come here because i love this place and my hairstylist is really great but this left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Went here for an eyebrow waxing. The girl was sweet but definitely nervous with waxing, barely took anything off requested to take more off and kept using wax which you should only wax once bc you are damaging the skin waxing more and more off. I know a good eyebrow wax job from one that isn't good and I would not recommend this place. Plus to top it off price online say $10 for eyebrow the girl was trying to charge me $20 and i told her I called yesterday and the girl on there said $10 like the website now says and she said well we update to $15, but wait you were going to charge me $20. Anyhow this place is way new and charges way much for inexperienced workers. Go else where!! read more

I got my hair done by Lesley Nalley for the first time this week. There is no doubt that she is an incredibly talented stylist! Beyond that what really separates her from the group is her customer service. I came in asking for a difficult red dye and Lesley didn't stop until it was perfect. Lush 35 is the most friendly and professional place- and the talent! Natalie was honest, listened, and gave me EXACTLY what I came in for. I received the most amazing hi lights and cut. I also got some really fun lavender and pink color extensions that very subtle. Natalie has an incredible eye and skill set- she is a whiz with a curling wand. I left feeling like a movie star. Melinda gave me my first Brazilian Blow out and it looks fantastic!! She took the time to answer my questions, explained the process in detail, and made sure I knew how to maintain! I had to schedule this appointment at this particular location because my regular esthetician was on vacation. The appointment was scheduled at 5:30. At 5:50 the esthetician said that she is finished. I said that usually its one hour, she said: "you have no lashes". At check out, she charged me $45. I came home 4 lashes fell out. I check for prices their website​, did not find any. Checked Yelp, it says-$45 for 1 hour touched up. The service was absolutely a joke. Would not recommend it.​ read more

Very clean, cute salon in Catonsville. All of the stylists are very nice and professional, though Melanie is my favorite. She has always done an amazing job (I tracked her down from a previous salon- worth the extra drive!) The prices are very reasonable and the results are great. What more could you ask for? read more

I had a horrible experience here. My stylist was really nice and a good person, but my hair is nothing like what i wanted. I showed a picture with blonde and lots of dimension and got a solid white on my roots and I look terrible. I contacted them to see if we can fix it/add some low lights to make it look a little better and they said that would cost another $90.00 after i already spent 200 on it! I haven't taken a headband off my head since i got it done i feel terrible. I wont be returning and have to go to another salon to get it fixed. read more

This Salon is amazing!! The customer service is incredible, the professionalism and knowledgeable stylists are absolutely amazing! Sarah and Lesley are wonderful and I am treated like family as soon as I walk in the door. The salon is immaculate, they are up on the most recent trends but also are completely comfortable with classic styles. My daughter has special needs and neither Sarah nor Lesley made me feel like I had to worry. They put my daughter at ease, and me as well, they didn't even blink. Both my daughter and my fiancé go to the salon and Sarah Gilliland and Lesley Nalley have done an outstanding job with both of them. Only Sarah has cut and colored my hair, and being a redhead with curly hair, I am very fussy about my color and cuts. Sarah has done an outstanding job. I have gone to Lush 35 for several different services, thinking it was my new go to salon. I have dropped a lot of money with one particular stylist there in the course of several months. Cute place, stylist really friendly, and I am absolutely willing to pay a lot of money to get great hair. After this last experience, unfortunately, I cannot say that i would recommend went to my regular senior stylist, Kelly, to,get high and low lights. All,was well until she put me in the bowl to rinse out and clearly there were problems. She was clearly trying to do some fixes as she wa putting other color and toner in my hair then. She did the cut and we talked about maybe having a little more taken off. After the blow dry my hair was very brassy (the one thing i stipulated I did NOT want. She seemed agitated when I said something about it and sort of acknowl dgand d the issue and then curtly said I really don't see anything wrong with it. That is when I was out back in the chair where she decided to do a Mohawk section of my hair in platinum blonde. On top,of that, she let me "cook" for a very long time, avoiding me while she went on to cut a few other people's hair. She ended up having not one but two assistants come over and wash me out and blow dry. When I asked her about th cut, she flippantly said, " I forgot" and then proceeded to give it a dry cut. I think she knew I was leaving the state and I guess quality and professionalism didn't matter after that. I have always tipped her handsomely, literally in the 25-40% range after every service, even if was just a touch up and I still tipped her $45 on a $180 botched hair job this time. Now I am scrambling to find a colorist who can fix my torched hair and pay another several hundred to fix her mistakes. Very bad form and lack of professionalism and wouldn't let Her touch me again. I would also find someone to microblade your eye brows, that is a little harder to,get corrected. Sorry, I say stay away. read more

I got my first haircut in ~8 years here. I was nervous about the whole process because I'm clueless about all of this, but at every step of the way the people here were great! First, I contacted them via their website, and was responded to promptly by "management". I was assured they could help. A few days later, I called to schedule something, explaining my situation to whomever answered the phone (the receptionist?), and she was just as understanding and helpful, and scheduled me the next day with Anna. When I got there, I explained the my situation again, and showed Anna some general ideas of what I thought might work, but ultimately put it in her hands. She was great! She picked up on the essence of what I thought I might want and gave me probably the best haircut I've ever had! I'd never actually smiled after a haircut before, and I got nothing but compliments at work the next day (they'd never seen me w/ short hair before, and I was coming from mid-back length hair). On top of all of this, the price was great! (far less than I'd expected) I will be going back, and if you get Anna, you will be in good hands, if my experience is any indication. read more

I get my haircut by Micah who is a gem both professionally and personally. He listens to me about what I want and always does a very nice job. In fact, I moved about 35 minutes away and have infant twins and still find a way to get to him. I'm always greeted with a smiling face from the staff and offered water.
