Brand spanking new store. Love the bath bombs and the body conditioners. Rather pricey (how quick I forget until I get that bill!!) Quality stuff, a little stuck in the 1990's. And check out their CACA HENNA! CACA! Okay, okay. I'll admit I'm kinda rough on Lush for my kinda bad experiences with them. I will say what I love. All their rose scented stuff. Fantastic. Me? What do I get? That Ro's Argan body conditioner, which is super great on my dry skin. I also like that rose bubble bar they have. Makes my baths smell like hello kitty gum! YES. Unfortunately you have to use them right away or they start melting. But I LOVE the smell of the rose bubble bar. Fantastic. I also like their bathbombs. Rather 'spensive and yes, I know you can make them yourself. But it's hard haha and I'm lazy. Sales people are rather pushy but maybe they have scary sales goals. I don't like it. LOVE the Hair Doctor mask It's so rich and creamy and thank goodness it didnt clump my hair. Made it so creamy and easy to massage into my scalp. Love that it didn't smell funky and look so much like chocolate frosting, lol. The peppermint tingling was awesome and it made my scalp feel so cool and calm and my hair was super soft. Best of all, loved that it takes only 20 mins to set into my scalp and then rise and shampoo afterwards. Bummer that this mask has an expiration date since there's no preservatives added in and so gotta make sure you use it within deadline and keep it refrigerated. Upon entering the store: I was greeted and assisted by Dominique and Lisa. They helped me out when needed and Dominique did some demo samples on me and prep some other things for me to take home as samples. Here are some of my take home samples: ***Rub Rub Rub: Body scrub smelled wonderful and liked the cool creamy texture that it felt when I scrubbed on me. Another favorite I liked. ***Big Salt Shampoo: Hit n miss with this one. Smelled like Tide detergent to me during the first usage, lol. At first, when I rubbed it on, didn't feel foamy, but once I started lathering, it worked its magic and made my hair and scalp squeaky clean. Though it claimed to give hair volume - sadly, it didn't work on mines. My hair felt even flatter, duller and ended up attracting more static cling, urgh. ***Angels on Bare Skin: this one made my face feel grimey post wash. It felt like a layer of oil was on my face. It didn't give me the squeaky clean feel that I hoped for like my regular facial cleansers. Oh well, back to Sephora for my cleansers. ***Vanishing cream moisturizer: it was light weight and fresh smelling, but it didn't have SPF and so a big downer to my sensitive skin. Back to Sephora for this part as well. Overall, I adore the Hair Doctor mask and body scrubs. The facial stuff, I can pass it. Either way, I look forward to venturing to Lush again - there's more stuff I haven't tried out yet. I just love walking into here.. the greeting from the sales associates to the smell is always so welcoming. My favorite item to buy is no surprise... bath bombs! I am sure most of the first time customer purchases are bath bombs. It's like the first steps into getting into Lush. They have a wide selection of bath bombs and I tried at least a dozen of em. I generally get ones that or more suitable for sensitive skins. And I love that they have the option one for kids, shaped as a robot. I really like how creative they get with colors and shapes, smells and designs. I also tried their Sleepy lotion, I don't know if it a mental thing but it does put me to sleep. I am already on my 3 container. I take it with me when I travel too! It def does what it says, helps relax you and put you to sleep. I highly recommend everyone give this lotion a try if they have a little issue falling asleep. Went to this Lush looking for something for my mom because she loves bath stuff. I had no idea what I was doing. Young girl named Audrey was flying around helping everyone and ended up walking me through everything and helping me set up the perfect gift combo for my mom. She listened and was very understanding and quick. She had a can do will do energy and I am down for that. Will be coming back for more in the future on that alone! I went to Lush after my friend told me that it carries natural products. I have been to this store twice, and the products really scream "BUY ME!!" with their fragrant aromas. Lush is more on the expensive side, but if you want to pamper yourself once a month with a spa at home, this store is your friend. Got the "sex bomb" today and tried it... oh la la... I could really die because the scent was so divine... It made me want to stay in my bath and sleep there. Just amazingly powerful. "Rub rub rub" is also another great product that I might buy once I run out of my current body scrub. I got an entire regimen of skin care, but it has only been a week. Too early to tell if they work or not. If they don't I can always return the more expensive ones for refund within 31 days with the receipt (like the $40 facial moisturizer...). I have never been to a Lush store before, but always heard great things about their products. I came in last week and this shop is so super tiny that it's hard to walk around and look at things with so many people in there. I wasn't greeted, or really acknowledged, but I know it was a couple days after Christmas so I don't hold it against them. Some of the staff seemed friendly where some seemed kind of rude and would ignore you. I found a soap I liked, but there was no price on it and their sale was very confusing since everything was mismarked. A worker helped me and told me the price and said it's also BOGO. I thought for that price how awesome! It's finally my turn to be rung up and I was charged for both. I thought it was BOGO and the cashier kind of had a know-it-all personality and didn't explain to me that it was only 50% OFF. The woman who had helped me was ringing up next to her and pretty much ignored me as I pointed out she told me that was the deal. I ended up just buying both anyways, but the cashier rang me up wrong, one was for the peppermint soap and one was for something else. Thankfully they were both the same price, so I wasn't overcharged. I was kind of annoyed that no one explained anything to me, so I called customer service to make sure I was charged right for everything and they confirmed. I was happy just getting it 50% OFF, I don't know why she told me it's ALSO BOGO, that threw me off. I came here today to get some presents for vday long story short I spend $175 worth of bath bombs and one shower gel. The girl puts all my bombs in one tiny bag and right before I got out of the mall the bag broke. ( shower gel had it's own bag). Came here last night as we were strolling in the Arcadia Mall. As soon as I got in, there were a few people there but it wasnt as busy. I dont even remember if anyone at all acknowledged my presence. I always go to the Glendale Galleria location and the staff there always welcome you to their store. Unfortunately, that is not the case at this location. As I said, they weren't that busy. I was looking at different products trying to decide what to get and still no help from anyone. I think this store needs to make sure that they have enough staff at every shift specially during the weekend when everyone is at the mall. I had to literally stop next to an associate and wait until she notices me while talking to another customer. And after a few minutes, she asked if I had any questions. My question didnt even take a minute. Any how, I ended up getting a sleepy lotion to help me sleep at night. I have yet to know if it really works or just a hype since I have seen a lot of my friends rave about the effectiveness of it. I dont think I ever want to come back here. It is true that Lush employees can be a bit aggressive and pushy, but that's how they're trained to be. It's a good idea to do research online on what you want before you go in if you just want to get in and get out! I've had excellent experiences here, the employees are all very well-educated on what's in their products and are more than willing to give you a demo of almost any item. Although if you come in at a busy time, it's normal for an employee to be in the middle of assisting you then immediately engage in a conversation with another customer. A little annoying, but something I can deal with for the quality of the products. You can also request samples, if you're friends with the employees they'll fill the little sample container up to the brim for you whereas if you get somebody who's kind of "ehh" they'll give you about 1/4 of a sample. Love Lush, love this location. This is the only place I trust for my skincare. read more

I love LUSH, I love what their store has to offer, and the customer service. However, I had an experience specifically at this location which gave me the urge to write this review. I've never had any problems with the service from the employees at any LUSH locations that I've been to especially this one. Somehow on 4/22/15 around 3pm I had a different experience. One of the girl who helped me lack knowledge about the products she was referring to me. Every time I asked her something, she would ask one of her coworkers and mumbles it to me. She was very unsure and kept telling me to get this instead of the other multiple times. Normally the employee here is super talkative which I don't mind. She had nothing much to say. There was a product that I wanted that came in a chunk and you can ask to get it cut based on the amount you want. I told her it was my first time trying this particular product so I only want a small chunk to try. She said she will cut half of the bar that was already cut for me. I said ok thinking she would go cut it she hands me the whole bar that's already wrapped. I thought I already explained to her what I wanted. I stood there having to explain to her again what she had just told me. She made me feel stupid when it should be the other way around. She literally gave me a death stare and asked, "What do you mean?" When I asked her I wanted a smaller piece. Then her and her coworker was so pushy on making me buy the tin can to store it. I don't know how many times I kept telling them NO since i have something similar at home. The minute I said no, they gave me new excuses as to why I should buy it. All of the workers here that day came off very rude. I had a few help me. They aren't helpful as helpful as you would expect. One girl promise to check an item to see if it was in stock for me and never did. One girl stood there helping me not knowing a single thing about the product. The one that was actually helpful was busy helping someone else but she helped ring me up and made sure I know how to use all the products I bought. Oh and samples given here are not generous at all. She showed me the "holiday stuff" that had the store not been so crowded (it was a Saturday) that I would have played in the store more. I did have some questions that had to do with company, and so I talked to Austin, the manager, and again, he was extremely helpful and answered a few key questions that I had. He was also very encouraging. I want to say "Thank you" to both CeeJay and Austin. I love LUSH... I picked up a Snow Castle soap sample (like "Snowcake", but in Big Castle form (don't expect to get a soap that looks like a castle) - love the marzipan smell and it's very moisturizing - and it's a bar soap, that's how awesome LUSH products are!! I also asked for some rose jam shower I love the smell and there's a lotion that goes along with it... Most taken LUSH bath of all time is probably "Butterball" + "Sakura" + "Sex Bomb". I was followed by a sales associate the ENTIRE time. If you're really not a people person like me you'll hate it. So I walked in curious to see what the hype is about this place and at first it seemed overwhelming. I went around smelling different products and my first thought for most products was, organic. Which organic doesn't always smell amazing... Than an employee offered some help and the fun began. She offered to do done trails so We sat down and she came over with a fresh bowl of warm water and she started with the salt scrub ( I was sold). I typically don't review retail stores but this Lush, in particular, deserves a shout-out fro me on Yelp because of their amazing customer service and attention to detail to the customer's interests. I came in to purchase a small tub of their "Mask of Magnanimity" which is amazing! My skin, usually dry in the winter, can sometimes do a complete 180 in the summer and become awfully oily. To combat the oil and gunk hiding in my pores, the mask of magnanimity usually does the trick. I brought the smaller tub to the cashier and the girl ringing me up mentioned that buying a larger tub would yield a better value. While true, I tend to stick to purchasing the smaller tubs because I will likely not finish the larger tub before it dries out. I told her this and she nodded in agreement and was not pushy whatsoever. She noticed that I liked the tingly mint in the mask and then recommended about 2-3 different products that had the same tingly scent. She recommended a body soap, shampoo and even a body conditioner! She cut off a small sample of Freeze, followed it with the African Paradise and then some Dream Cream to pat off everything. My hands were so soft! Bottom line: I left Lush, not only with my mask, but also with a small sample of the African Paradise and some new-found knowledge of Lush's minty products. Lush had just opened at the Arcadia mall and my BFF and I decided to go in and check it out. We got warmly greeted, offered facials, massages and foot soaks! It was so fun! I came into LUSH looking for some bath bombs and some bubble bars and that's exactly what I got! The employees are friendly and helpful as usual, I had a very lovely girl help me out with blue hair and she tried out about four products with me, she wasn't pushy about buying the products at all (some employees can be). The rest of the time I was just sniffing the products and about three other employees asked me what I was looking for and if I sad finding everything OK, I asked them for their recommendations and favorites and they gladly told me them with enthusiasm, again they weren't trying to push me into buying products. I enjoyed this LUSH in particular because of the employees, the French kiss was sold out on the floor but an employee was fantastic enough to go out in the back to get me one! I bought a total of five items: the pink mmm bath melt, the French kiss bubble bar, the space girl bath ballistic, the twilight bath bomb and the pink mini bath bomb.
