Not a salon I will ever revisit. . My deluxe manicure was horrible, the girl I believe her name was Cindy and she is doing nails over 7 years. Not good or new or just didn't care but she clearly did not know how to apply nail polish. She used electric drill around my cuticles it was very painful to the point that I told her to stop. Lush is awesome, best place in Longmont. I've gotten many services done here and every nail tech is equally talented and consistent with results. My gel polish last 2+ weeks with no chip. And my regular pedicures last even longer with just regular polish. The ladies here are very sweet and give you the best advice to achieve healthy long nails. My mom does full acrylic sets with a coffin shape and they look flawless and the acrylic is filled very thin and natural looking. Never thick and unnatural looking. Their prices were fair (only $35 for a French Shellac!) and all the employees were friendly. The facility is clean and doesn't smell like nail polish and alcohol (which I enjoyed). Do not go here if you are looking for a nice set of acrylic nails. I just got mine done and the experience was more than bad. I booked an appointment for a full set of acrylic and a pedicure. First of all the place was absolutely dirty they did not clean the tub for the pedicure and did not see them use a plastic lining. No nail prep prior and My nails look absolutely awful the lady who was doing my nails was so rushed, each nail is a different shape and thickness and was coughing all over. I have nails pointing to the left and right and they did not even bother to put oil on my nails after so I left with white rings around my nails and oiled them myself when I got home as well as reshaped them myself. The lady doing my acrylic started using powder on me without asking me first for an upcharge and I spent a total of 114 dollars with tip. My pedicure looks alright so far and is the only positive. I have been getting my nails done for years and this is by far the worst I've ever experienced.The ladies working are very sweet way too rushed and inaccurate. I would not recommend EVER I will not be going back and will tell my friends to stay far away. read more

Collectively I've been coming to this location for a year. I've never had any issues until recently and unfortunately I will not be returning to this location. The last 2 times I have been here, my shellac manicure has not lasted 2 weeks. The first time the girl used regular nail polish instead of the gel. The owner, I believe, fixed my nails which only lasted a week before it chipped. The second time, I had one that was completely chipped and one that cracked which ended up chipping almost all the French tip. When I went back to try for a THIRD time the girl that helped me filled my nails almost almond shaped, which I specified I wanted square rounded. I was so frustrated I ended up walking out. The only 2 people who know what they're doing is Maria and the owner, I believe. Don't get your nails done by anyone else. read more

I've been going here for a while off and on. Always had been satisfied but today was disappointed. Had a pedicure and basic manicure. I asked tech to be careful with my foot because of a surgery and an injury and her boss explained it to her. She was careless and my foot swelled. As for my manicure the technician used a full nail clipper. She clipped and when it wouldn't cut she would pull and rip the nail loose and I said nope that is dull and she didn't care. I should have asked for another tech my bad. Before she polished my nails with clear polish she buff one hand and not the other and when I got home I used my buffer to smooth the edges otherwise I'd have snags on my clothes. One more thing, she poked my finger with the tip of the clipper. Never had seen her there before and I not sure I'll go back, but if I do I'll make sure not to use her. I used to do nails but I like others who know what their doing to be more careful and clean. Dull instruments are usually dirty....just saying. read more

I'm getting tired of this business ripping my daughters off! 4 girls went in today and got exactly the same thing: dip manicure. Two paid one price, another paid $35 and 4th girl paid $45. I guess they just charge whatever they feel like charging. My teens are too timid to to be assertive so this business is always cheating them. During this pandemic, they made an appointment to confirm all 4 girls can go in at the same time. They had other customers already in and took mine one at a time. Today I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. First time at Lush Nails. It was the worst experience and pedicure ever!! I could have done a better job myself. It was obvious the manicurist was not trained well nor did she care about what she was doing. The polish was awful, the massage was awful, the callus removal was awful! When I told the owner, she scolded me and told me I should have told the girl how to do her job better!? She then became aggressive and scary in her attitude when I disagreed with her opinion. She proceeded to call the police because I felt the pedicure was so bad I didn't feel I should have been charged full price or anything for that matter. Yes it was that bad! I owned a skin care business in Boulder for 15 years and if I had a client who was not satisfied with a service, I took care of them. I did not become angry and scold them! The tech did an okay manicure but was disappointed that there was no hand massage involved - I guess I assumed they did this everywhere. I chose OPI polish as I normally do and within 24 hours my polish was already chipping (usually it lasts well over a week). I would never recommend getting a manicure here. read more

The atmosphere was, okay, nothing to spectacular and neither were the services I received. I got a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure. After my manicure my nails HURT from the nail tech getting to close to my skin when cleaning up my cuticles, also, the shellac was VERY thick and uneven. My pedicure was okay, I should have saved my money and done my toes at home. The shape of my toenails was uneven and I needed to shape them up once I got home. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the work was great. Otherwise it would be one star. I was a walk in and they seemed reluctant to take me even though I said I would wait and they could get to me when they had a chance. I was given Maria and she did a great job on my nails but she seemed very concerned with getting off work early to go to a strip club with friends for someone's birthday. Her sister was observing the manicure and was on her phone and showing her sister videos while she was working on my nails. While working on my nails her appointment came in early and after that I felt she was rushing. Long story short I felt like I was being pushed out so her appointment could come in. I came back from washing my hands to find another woman (who wasn't the appointment) in my chair talking to Maria. I had to stand behind her until they were done talking (about five minutes). No sorry for me standing there waiting, nothing. There was also a comment from her sister about my arm hair and how she should tell me I needed it waxed. On the other hand Kenny did an amazing job on my mom but did nick her finger and made her bleed. However he was very friendly. Don't know if I will come back and if I do I don't think I will request the same nail tech. read more

Their website states they use new tools with each client and that's not true. They use the same one they use for everyone. You have to wait until others are done picking out the color as they only have one set of nail polish samples. The nail techs don't have a designated stations they leapfrog stations and clients. On multiple occasions I've had to sit there while the nail tech does some of my nails then goes to another client and finishes her nails. Completely unsanitary and money hungry. They're constantly accepting walk ins which means that your nail tech will be rushing in order to get the next person/tip. My pedicure lasted 2 days and then chipped off she also used 2 different colors even though I specifically gave her the color that matched my nails but she chose one that was "similar", they don't bother to actually fix your nails, they just slap on a coat of paint. The restrooms are shared with the other establishments and you have to go through some dingy hall into an even worse bathroom that does not lock!!! I did like the nail tech Jenny but the rest of the nail tech do not speak at all unless it's to charge. read more

I have tried so many different places throughout Longmont, for acrylics, permanent gels and shellac, and have constantly been disappointed due to the poor quality and/or service (but mostly bad quality). I walked in without an appointment today and Daisy (the owner) did pink and white acrylics for me. She constantly asked me questions about how I wanted them and did them exactly as I requested. My nails were peeling pretty badly from my previous acrylics, so she had her work cut out for her. But, she was gentle with the filing of the old acrylic and with the application of the new pink/white acrylic. I am extremely happy with my nails. They are the right thickness, length and the overall quality looks fantastic! I will be going back to Daisy for my refill in a few weeks. read more
