I expressed my desire of finding a fragrance and he went above and beyond to suggest lush products based on my interests, as well as other brands with his extensive knowledge of fragrance. I didn't feel rushed at all and he spent time connecting with me. I greatly appreciated this because I've been a long time customer using sleepy body wash but was interested in trying some new products and I left with new products as well as some ideas of what to try next time! Stopped into Lush today to grab some hand cream. The Lush back home is clear across town and I'm too lazy to head there. This joint is conveniently in Fashion Place Mall so of course I had to make my way in. The scent of this joint will always be my favorite. I have loved their products for years. One of my favorite face masks that the discontinued wad the Sacred Truth. I would drive to the ends of the earth for that mask! A sweet gal helped me today. We went through all the different hand lotions. She was patient while I was going through my options. I end up going with the hand lotion with flax seed in the tube. I thought the packaging on it would be better in my purse. Lush will always be one of my favorite stores to hit up. The store is always fun to check out. The staff is always knowledgeable and nice. This was one of the best shopping experiences I've had! My boyfriend and I came into Lush to look around and see if there were any presents we could get for others. Immediately, the employees were some of the most friendly and helpful people I've ever met. While the products are rather expensive, all of them are cruelty-free and made ethically. They have testing stations where you can smell the products and see how they work, which are fun to experience before purchasing. I will definitely be back for more gifts throughout the year! read more

Lush is always always always so awesome! Even so, I enjoyed my experience at this store so much I'm bummed to be two states away from it! Some Lush stores have associates that really push the sales (which imho is a reflection on management not associates, and some customers really don't appreciate it, especially from such a cool company) and don't take a hint when you're aimlessly browsing, but not this one. Everyone here was friendly and in tune to individual customer needs. A huge thanks to Jordan especially for offering me a complimentary demo and giving me suggestions on products for dry skin. If only all retail sales associates could be as warm and inviting as this gal. I probably talked her ear off for a half hour. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about Lush products! I've been using Lush smellgoods for ages, but they're always coming out with new things and I don't keep up on purpose to not become totally addicted. My newest discoveries at this store (thank you Jordan) were: NANA body wash, which smells like butterscotch baking in the kitchen! SLEEPY, a soothing and gentle-smelling (that is to say the scent doesn't punch you in the nostrils) lavender lotion! Cherry Lip Scrub (possibly the best smell I've ever had the courtesy of smelling) paired with Key Lime Lip Balm for exfoliating and moisturizing (perfect for my chapped lips not used to the Utah air)! Pumice Power foot scrub, crazy even a pumice stone treatment can include an earthy, pleasant smell, how nice! Yes, it was an eventful trip. So great in fact that I even came back a second time to drop more money here. I'm not even the type that usually shops on vacation. This place is unbelievable. The staff are so helpful and willing to demonstrate everything for you! I just let them know that it was my first time and they treated me like a kid in a candy store. About 6 staff members showed me uses for each bar: bath bombs, bubble bombs, bath melts, masks, body lotion, and shower gel! There's so much to sniff and so many to choose from. It is very pricy, but it comes out to be a typical night out, so it works out. Or that's what I tell myself. There are a variety of bath bombs to choose from and they have seasonal smells too! I picked "big blue" and "fizzbanger." I tried the fizzbanger earlier this evening and it was amazing! The color of my bath water turned greenish blueish like the ocean. Like a Cracker Jack box, there were 2 little pieces of paper inside that said "bang!" I dropped the ball in and watched the ball fizz into blue and yellow turning into that greenish color. The bath bubbles foams up and just looks fun to play with. Not sure if this was what helped make my skin feel super smooth or if it was the bath bombs, but it sure smelled yummy! The bath melts makes it feel as if you're bathing in lotion. At the shop, the lady dropped the melt in a bowl and it made my skin feel so silky smooth. The masks were interesting. I took home a sample of the seaweed mask and the rosy cheeks since they are considered best for sensitive and oily skin. On my hand, you can automatically feel the coolness of both. When I came home, I tried the rosy cheeks (because it was pink) but when I washed it off after 10 minutes, it felt like it dried my face. Not sure if this is what a typical mask is supposed to feel like but I quickly washed my face and moisturizer it with my normal cleanser. I was afraid to try the body lotion since I came from bath and boy works and didn't want to mix the flavors. There are sinks available, but I already preferred the smell I had on Lastly, the shower gel feels gooey, but in that good way. I'm not sure if the gel is supposed to break away and soak into your hand and arm but the staff washed it off shortly after a nice massage lol. read more

So lately I have become completely obsessed with LUSH. It is a little pricey but everything is mainly organic! I love the black containers that the products come in and good news. They recycle! If you take back 5 containers you get a free face mask! Any mask! Any size! How awesome is that?! The 5 Products that I have above are (left to right) : The Sandstone Soap: Love: I love that it is soooo exfoliating! It has sand that helps with the exfoliating and citrus, coriander and gardenia oils to help brighten and tone the skin. I also love that you do not need to use a rag and can simply use the bar to wash your body. It makes me feel soo clean! Cons: It is a little rough. I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive or on your face. R & B Love: I love that it makes my hair super soft, unfrizzy, superr hydrating and moisturizing and a little goes a looooong way! I dont have any Cons thus far because its just a sample size. I used it as soon as I got out of the shower and it worked very well! My hair was not dry and it didn't look crazy! Since it was just the sample size, I was kind of iffy that I wouldn't really get to try the product out, but I was able to use it 2x.. so it shows that a little really does go a long way and I have thick hair! Brazilliant Shampoo Bar Love: I looove the smell & It is super easy to use! Cons: I hate that once I am done using it and I put it back into the tin and I want to use it for next time it is supper sticky and really hard to get out & When I do get it out there is some sticking to the bottom of the tin. Angels on Bare Skin: Love: I love that it makes my skin feel so clean. Cons: I am not really diggin the lavender smell and it is a little messy I just bought this. I have heard that this product is a god sent! lastly, Oatifix: Love: It is very moisturizing and I love the smell! It smells so yummy that I could seriously just go grab a spoon! Cons: feels greasy! How have I not reviewed Lush before, and how do they only have three and a half stars? Many, many years ago a very hippie friend of mine gave me a Lush catalog. I remember just poring over it - circling the items I wanted (everything), and feeling so thrilled that something like this existed. I believe at the time they had one brick and mortar store, but otherwise all their orders were via mail. Maybe they had a primitive sort of website (we've come so far!)...anyways, they just seemed so cool and natural, and I was totally into it. If you're not familiar with Lush they are an all-natural bath and body store that sells bath bombs, bubble bars, various types of shower gels and jellies, exfoliators, lotion, face masks, toothpaste tabs, cosmetics, henna hair color, shampoo and conditioner (both regular and bars), and fragrances, plus some seasonal specials and other fun items. They started out mostly with the bath bombs, which you must try at least once, but clearly they've branched out. Even when you just walk by the store it smells like this dreamy mix of patchouli and sandalwood and flowers and nature and ugh! I just want to bottle it up, it's so glorious. Some of my favorite products are their dry shampoo, lip scrubs (Popcorn is surprisingly great, and might be my number one fav Lush thing), solid and regular perfumes (especially Sun and Vanillary), charity pot lotion, fresh face masks, and at Christmas they had a shimmer powder that was pretty dang awesome. Their customer service is great. I am always greeted as soon as I walk in the store, but they are perfectly content to just let me wander if I don't have anything in mind. Last year I bought a product here that I didn't feel was effective. They allowed me to return it for store credit months later without a receipt, no questions asked. The employees are always thrilled for you to sample anything you are curious about, and once (at a different location), my sister and I had a sort of mini spa day, no strings attached, they just wanted to share some new products with us. Seriously, the employees are super passionate and love what they do-it really shows. If you've never been it's worth going at least once, and I'll apologize in advance because you're probably going to develop an addiction. read more

I never enjoyed baths until I found the Avobath at Lush. I am very scent sensitive and my skin is ridiculously picky but the natural ingredients in Lush products have converted me for life! I went in this evening to return some products that got mangled in shipment and was instantly impressed with Shelby's professionalism and totally outgoing personality to make sure I was pleased with my experience. Lush is... an experience. First, you have to understand this place is largely for both products. I have a son who loves bath bombs, so we go to Lush quite a bit to stock up on the bombs. As a man, it's the smells and fragrances that assault you when you walk into these stores is kind of overwhelming. It is fun though, as you make your way deeper into the store to look and smell the different concoctions. Lush is worth visiting, even if it's just once, for the experience. read more

I've been living downtown for 2 years, and recently moved south, so this is my closest Lush, and I do not enjoy my shopping experience here as much as I do when I am at City Creek. I've been to a few Lush locations and this one didn't disappoint. The employees there are super friendly and knowledgeable. They will give you samples of anything you want to take home and try. I love Lush products they are natural and the company focuses on a sustainable environment for everyone and giving back. I particularly love the honey lip scrub and the rose lotion massage bar. The charity pot lotion is great also. I've tried the bath bombs and like them but they feel expensive for just one use. They didn't stain my tub as someone else mentioned. read more

My husband used to complain about my lush addiction. He'd say it's to expensive or the store is to small or it stinks. Slowly after being dragged into Lush 3 or 4 times he finally started to give into the fascination that is Lush. He gradually started sniffing about like a curious puppy, trying samples and opening tops to exam the wondrous contents. I called this Lush store today to see if they had stock of my favorite face wash (angels on bare skin) and they did! The young man read my mind and asked if I would like him to reserve it under my name. So nice! When I showed up to pick it up, I believe the same young man was the one who helped me. Wore a big floppy hat. He remembered my name, asked me how my day was going, and when I said I was new to the area he was so encouraging and genuinely happy for me! He made eye contact with me the whole time and made me feel special. He also threw in a hand scrub sample that smells amazing which was a nice suprise. I have always struggled with acne as a teenager. My mom tried every face wash we could think of, and we even got prescribed stuff but nothing ever worked. I got a face/body scrub from here less than a week ago and I'm already seeing a difference! my face is so soft, is clearing up and glowing and my body is incredibly soft! I love lush products but I had a very bad experience last time I went in. I went in looking for some sex bath bombs because my cousin was having a bachelorette party that night and I needed a present. I was going to pair the bath bomb with some candles and bathrobe and call it a good present. The present was a joke gift. When I arrived in lush (with my boyfriend), I didn't see any of the sex bath bombs. I went to the front to ask a blue haired worker. I wish I got her name but didn't. When I asked if she had any sex bombs she very loudly said "you know sex bombs don't actually have anything to do with sex right? They're called sex bombs because a child named it." She continued judging me on asking for a sex bomb. Although I was only there for the name of the bath bomb because it would be funny with the present, I would like to point out that the website says that it is a romantic bath bomb and talks about sex appeal and the seductive ingredients in the bath bomb. Sounds like it's trying to be a little seductive to me. It was annoying because she seemed like she was trying to embarrass me and make me feel stupid. She also made a judgement because I was there with my boyfriend. I explained it was a gift for a bachelorette party and she continued to talk down to me. I have worked in customer service for a long time and would never speak so rudely and pass so much judgement on a customer. She was extremely unprofessional and instead of feeling the need simply answer my question, she chose to try and humiliate me. read more

I need to begin by saying that I've never had a poor experience at the Fashion Place Lush; However, yesterday I was met at the door by Alexis, who was the most helpful associate I have yet to shop with. She first asked what I was looking for- I explained that I was having a girls night with friends and was responsible for providing face masks. Not only did she grab the mask I love and am most familiar with, but she was also a wealth of information as far as other options went. I have sensitive skin, so I was a little nervous to try something new- but she was able to give me first-hand advice on what works for her, and what ingredients have what effect on your skin. the staff is nice but stingy. it was my first time and i heard from my other friends that i can ask for samples since they are a bit pricey and i don't want to spend money on something that won't work on me. i was told i can only have two and the samples they gave me were less than a quarter of the small container, not even enough for one use. my friend told me the lush at city creek is better and you can get more than two and enough for a couple or few uses to figure out which one is good for your skin or hair. read more
