Sonia called and she was so nice. She apologized. It was my first time at the salon but she set up an appt for a pedicure with a discount. my appointment was at 12 30 pm but I arrived 5 min early. Then, they started at 1 and I left around 2:15 pm because more people were showing at the salon. They left me waiting on the chair. the person that was doing my nails was with someone else doing a full set without an appt. So I was just sitting and waiting for someone to start doing my no chip and in my mind I was like So what is the purpose of setting up an appointment? The nails were ok. Visited here with 4 of us to have a nice two hours relaxing together. We did do both manicure and pedicure. One of the employees went over the top and ripped us open and fingers and feet kept hurting for days. There was also an employee that brought her dog. However the dog was small it kept asking for attention. Normally not too bad as we are dog persons ourselves but this was over the top. Biting our just done toes while we were having our manicures and riding our legs all the time was not the idea we had for a relaxing time. Ones first finished had to sit on the pedicure seats to made sure the dog couldn't reach. The employees didn't seem to care too much and occasionally told the dog not to do it but the dog didn't listen at all. You also start to wonder the cleanliness of the salon if the allow hairy animals to run around. Result, painful toes and fingers from the employee and scratches and bruises over all out legs from the dog. There are better places around to go to. read more

I am not able to respond to the message that was posted about my review concerning ombre nails. So here is my response: yes, I did get the correct salon, it is right next to CVS and my nails were done by Sonya, and it was about three weeks ago, exact date: February 2nd, as I have it written on my calendar and its on my credit card statement. I would not go in again to remedy the situation. If it wasn't done correctly the 1st time, I assume it wont be done correctly the 2nd time. The only thing to remedy the situation is to refund me for the services, but I doubt you'll do that. I just want to let others know about the lack of quality service when you are paying $50+plus, especially since there are so many good reviews on here, which is what made me go in the first place. read more

I just moved to the Naperville area and was very excited to get my nails done after a month of them growing out from their last fill but I was super nervous because i went to the same shop for two years in my hometown and my nails were always amazing. I wanted to spoil myself a little and got a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was great - very relaxing, quiet, and thorough. However, my nails weren't as lucky. I left the shop with many bubbles in my nails, a small hair in my pinky nail, almost every one of my nails are lumpy and there is a lot of extra overcoat on the sides of my fingers. The woman was also aware of this as she tried to file it down. I left a $15 tip on my card and the woman seemed irritated with it because it wasn't cash. I am so bummed with my nails to be honest. I've been getting my nails done monthly since 2018 and this was just a big let down. read more

I always make an appt when I get my nails done because I don't like to wait & I like to go early. Out of the 4 times I've been there, they've opened up thE door AFTER my appointment time, & they've seated me in a pedicure chair with the lights still off. It's incredibly irritating. I went there because my nail tech moved to this location. But everyone who works there is rude & condescending. The owner did my full set once & told me the color I picked was weird & meant for people going to parties.. excuse me? (Glitter colored) This last time? She told me my nails looked dirty as I was paying & leaving. (I got a matte white) It's no wonder they never have more than two people working at a time. I couldn't imagine working for someone that rude. And they're always back & forth talking about whose fault it is on who took which appt or who overbooked. It's a mess in there & apologies to my nail tech, but I will never go back. read more

The customer service was very good, the ladies were very friendly. I got dip and pedicure on Friday and my nails were chipped by Monday :(. I also noticed that polish was wavy/uneven after drying. Unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

I waited 45 minutes past my appointment for a pedicure and no chip. The technician cut the side of my foot. My no chip turned out awful, she over uv my nails so they looked super dry and started to lift. She paint two nails then uv the nail and re apply and reuv overall it was a terrible job. I sat in the salon for 2 1/2 hours.... I'm pretty disappointed in the service it sucks unless the head technician Sonia is working on your nails. read more

She did a great job on my nails. I got the dipping powder and they look great. The last place I went to cut my cuticles and caused them to bleed. I was very pleased with her focus on not hurting me. Also she did ask if I wanted another coat to make the solid color less opaque but I prefer it to look this way. read more

I don't get my nails done as regularly as some people, but when I do, I always come to Luv Ur Nails. Sonia (the owner) does a fantastic job, and makes sure that she hires quality help as well. I've been to other places in the past, and my no-chips and/or acrylics never lasted as long as they do when Sonia does them. I never feel like they're rushing through just to get people in and out, but take their time and pay attention to detail and make sure they're doing a quality job for every customer. I'm honestly sad that I'm moving in a couple months and will have to find a new place to go out of state :( read more

I told her that I was very unhappy with the last manicure I had somewhere else and she made sure I left happy. I've got my nails done for years and I moved to the area not long ago hoping to find a local nail salon that I could relax and truly enjoy. Mind you, I'm a mom of 3 and haven't had time to myself since beginning of covid. I understand covid has been hard for many businesses like this (and I give people the benefit of the doubt) but I just had to post this review. I received Poor service and poor and rude attitude. Never felt this terrible before. I highly encourage others to stay away. I give my nails 1 stars. No massage or lotion for my hands for a $35 no-chip mani. Nails started coming off after two days!! Greeted and treated other customers with fake smiles and 'how are yous' but barked at me to put my nails in and out of the UV machine. Please don't waste your money and time. The lady that did my pedicure clearly doesn't know the proper way to cut cuticles instead of clipping she pulled my skin and caused both my big toes to bleed. My visit here was great. I was calling around to find nail places that were open on a Sunday, and I found this place, which was ready for me in the time that it took me to drive there. I got a full set of acrylics, which look awesome. The woman who did my nails, who I believe was the owner was very nice to my friend and I, and very gentle.
