I was referred to Regina by a coworker, and I'm so glad I went to see her! I came in with a lot of bleach damage, and she was incredibly thorough and patient. She really took her time assessing the condition of my hair and talking me through what we could realistically do to improve it. The cut she gave me made a huge difference. My hair looked drastically better walking out than it did walking in. She also introduced me to tape-in extensions, explaining how they work and installing a couple in just the right spot to fill in a gap from the damage that had left me with uneven layers. She cut the extensions perfectly to blend in with my natural hair. What stood out most was how much she genuinely cares. Not just about the health of my hair, but also about how I feel throughout the process. She understood how much hair can impact confidence and gave me great recommendations on how to style my new haircut while I grow out the damaged parts, and how to care for the extensions. His services are incredibly reasonably priced especially given the care and time that he provides. The salon - Luxcy - is small and personal and lovely. There's always plenty of parking and the vibe is always very relaxing. Abel is also just a delight to talk to with a presence that is calm and always leaves me feeling relaxed. I'm in love with this salon! I walked in looking to change and add some spice to my hair. It was past my shoulders all one length , frizzy, and sad. Abel quite literally performed surgery on my hair. Regina is absolutely amazing. My daughter had a hair disaster with a certain gel that would not come off and matted her long hair very badly. I tried other salons and they told me either to cut it (which had to be very short) or use some shampoos that did not work. Only Regina asked about the ingredients and checked them to see if any products would work. Then she offered to come to her salon (very clean and pleasant) early just to show me a technique to untangle the hair, and sent me photos of the combs to get -- all for free. She really has a big heart. As if that were not enough, she did facetime to check on the progress and kept giving me tips -- again, all for free, trying to make time from her busy schedule as a mother. And her technique was the only thing that worked. Thanks to her, my daughter was able to do an important performance. If you have an important event, please go to Regina.
