I highly recommend Cheyenne. My color is arguably the best red I've had ever had. I hadn't a service for 8 months so my red was faded out into various shades. She did three different processes on my hair to account for that given my hair reaches my mid back and I have a lot of it. My hair texture is fairly curly, at 57 I am also getting some silver. I also have a non-traditional cut (think Bettie Page) with the bangs. She She consulted with me for the cut and did an amazing job. She accounted for the length, the type of curl I have and the thickness in how to cut it. Now I can either wear it natural, straighten it or roll it and the style will work. There were plenty of folks there when I went in. Some had more traditional styles and I can verify this salon definitely listens to what the client wants. Josie usually does my icy blonde and does so excellently. My hair doesn't always take the toner or bleach, and she'll redo it to ensure it's perfect. She basically has her PhD in hair chemistry. I decided to get a vivid temporary color that'll fade into a cool blonde this time, and she never fails to impress me! It took forever because she had to do the blue twice to get it perfectly even and mixed 3 different shades to get the color just right for my red undertones. Im obsessed. Most of the stylists here do fabulous bright and bold colors. Josie does the best ash blonde in the city, and i had to endure a series of bad dye jobs to learn that. Nicole does my hair here and always makes sure i leave loving it. I came in with black hair and told her i wanted to be blonde and have pink hair by July. I had tons of color damage and heat damage and my hair was in pretty bad condition. We lightened and did a beautiful bob which i loved then she treated my hair with Olaplex and told me how to use it at home. My hair has not been in better condition since she has told me about olaplex. We then lightened a few more times and then it was time for the pink. Paul is a talented and charming Senior Stylist here and he gave me the royal treatment. Im new to Denver, moved here from Los Angeles and I had such a great experience, he spent almost 2 hours on my hair! I really loved this salon because it's not full of chairs along the walls like most salons and will never be too busy or noisy inside. Paul made sure he really understood how I wanted my haircut before he did any snipping. He first massaged my head and shoulders, washed and deep conditioned my hair, and even showed me exactly how much he would cut off before he did any snipping. I've had others not take extra measures to ensure the protection while coloring it and they caused bad damage. So I didn't want to pay full price if the result wasn't what I wanted. After talking to 4 stylists, I felt Sanja was the stylist who I could trust. She worked for 6.5 hours on my hair making sure it was perfect. She walked me through the whole process. I am very happy with the color and it's a big change for me! I have to color my roots 2 times per month and the over color had been causing it to blacken. I walked into this salon on a whim one Saturday and booked a weekday appointment with Tina Miller. From my first cut from Tina four years ago up to now, I get complements on my hair all the time!! My style is always up to date, age appropriate, and professional for my work environment. Most especially, Tina has given me a look that easily takes 5 years off my age!! He was amazing- so much so that when he moved over to Luxe de Vil (which has a much cooler vibe) I followed him. He's now been working on my hair for over two years. So, I've never gotten my hair done here, but did you know this wasn't only a salon? That's right it's also a shop. You can buy bags, clothing and earrings, too. She picked a color that would help fade correctly as it turns to spring, which I really wanted. I recently had to seek out a new hair stylist and with a friend's recommendation I called Christy (owner) at Luxe de Vil. She was able to meet with me for a quick pre-cut meeting that afternoon and she was so nice and understood what I wanted to do. I booked my appointment and got my hair cut a few days later. As you can see in my pictures I have curly hair so it doesn't act the same everyday. I did require a 2nd trip to get the layers evened out, but Christy was so sweet and wanted to make sure I was happy when I left yesterday post trim. I won't go anywhere else anymore. Christy is not only a great hairstylist, but a real sweatheart. Better yet, for guys Justin is a real barber... those are hard to come by these days. And there's always great artwork to look at, and if you don't like what's up at the time you can always look at the staff's tattoos. There's also a shop up front that has everything from stickers to handbags to men's clothes. They even have crafty hand-made stuff! If I was going to gripe about anything, I wish they would keep their pomades in stock, but a small gripe compared to what you get here. It's brand new, so give this place a shot.
