I was moving from a 4th floor apartment with an elevator to a third floor apartment with no elevator. My total was $200, which didn't seem bad at first. They sent two movers. The movers were 20 minutes late, although we'd confirmed the time three days prior. The movers themselves were kind, and they worked quickly; it took them two hours to complete everything. They did not come with the right moving equipment. I think they rented a U-Haul and used the dolly that came with it. They didn't tape any of the drawers shut, wrap anything in plastic, or even strap my items to the dolly while they were moving them. At the end of the move, one of the movers directly asked me for a tip. It felt a bit uncouth, but I was already going to tip them so I wasn't deeply bothered by it. I tipped each mover $50. I later realized they broke my dresser in several areas. The whole thing is very wobbly, the drawers stick, and there are areas where I can see clear damage. I'm going to have to get a new dresser altogether, which is upsetting considering I paid and tipped them a total of $300. I would not consider booking with this company again. I wish I could get a refund so I can put that money toward a new dresser.

These guys recently moved my 3 bedroom house with grand piano and large dining room table 200+…read moremiles. The movers showed up at 10am and didn't leave my new house until 3:30am when everything was put back together. They are extremely hard workers and have very reasonable prices. I still don't know how they got all of my furniture and boxes into a 24ft truck. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend them.

The reason I went with this company again for my move was because last time we had such a great…read moreexperience. I moved from a two bedroom apartment with my roommate to a three story townhouse. They were able to get this done in under eight hours. We even bought them lunch so with that short break. They were still able to get it done in a reasonable amount of time, especially since they were removing two people's worth of stuff. I even recommended this company to my brother and sister-in-law who have used them several times since and had no issues. For my move this past Friday I previously had a heads up from my roommate that Cacho pushed back their original time, but ultimately ended up having to cancel on her since he didn't have another person that could help him move. Therefore, he sent another company called Antonio's moving, but by that time she ultimately decided to go with another moving company. Once I heard this information I reached out to Cacho via phone call, confirming that they would be able to do my move and would have appropriate staff. He told me yes. The day before the move he texted me and asked me if I was ready for my moves. I responded. Yes there was no communication afterwards. The day of the move. I see a moving truck on my street with Antonio's moving on it this was the first red flag. A period of time afterwards one of the movers came walking up to my house. He did not speak English, but we were able to confirm that that was where he was supposed to be. At this time it was just him and I asked about the other guy but again he didn't speak English. Well my move was supposed to start at 11 AM so around 11:30 AM is when the second guy showed up. Technically they didn't start moving my stuff until about 11:45 AM. In the nicest way both of these guys were not in the condition to be moving my stuff from a three-story townhouse. I knew instantly that this was not the same company and I asked one of the Movers what happened to Cacho and he tried to explain to me, but I could barely understand what he was trying to say. I did reach out to Cacho to ask what happened as I did. Call to confirm that it would be Cacho and he tried to tell me that this was the same moving company. I already know it wasn't based on the truck and the two movers they sent. The truck was raggedy and the door was broken. They literally drove my stuff in the rain with the back door open. Some of items were soaked because of this. These guys took four hours to move my stuff out of my previous resident mind you it took the same amount of time for the same alleged company to move essentially two bedrooms worth of things for two different people and we had a lot of items together. They were taking things down the stairs, two items at a time prolonging the move even further. I reached out halfway through and told him I was disappointed and informed him I've sent you many referrals in which I never got a response. Again it took them a total of eight hours so by the time they were finished, it was 8 PM. The mover told me he was calling his boss and Antonio so that we can take care of payment. Also another confirmation that this was not Chacho's company. I told Antonio on the phone that I was very disappointed and it was at that time when I noticed the damage to my dresser literally looked like they dropped my dresser or didn't secure it properly in the truck so it smashed. He then told me he was going to reach out to his carpenter and give me a call back and immediately hung up. When I received the call back, it was actually the owner of Cacho and I let him know what happened at this time he did confirm that this was his brother's moving company company. He offered to take $200 off at first. He was trying to offer me less, but this dresser is worth more than that especially since they completely damaged the frame to the point where the drawers wouldn't open at the top. I told him it would need to be $300-$400 off. He tried to negotiate with me and tell me no I was not taking over an answer so he finally gave in and gave me $300 off. Still not enough to cover the damage and when I asked about insurance, he went on the rent that didn't make any sense so that just confirmed they didn't have any insurance and that was a lie. To top it all off my sister-in-law used Cacho the next day and it was actually Cacho that showed up and of course it took them about three hours to move the same amount of stuff that I had. All they had to do is be honest and say they didn't have the staff to move me and I could've went with another company. I've attached all my pictures as evidence. I don't want anybody to have to go through the same situation I did. I highly recommend that they stop utilizing Antonio's moving company as they do not have the same standards as Cacho's moving company.

I was charged $500 for used supplies as evidenced by packing blankets that were non purchasable that were old, dirty, ripped up and that stamps all over that read "property of UHAUL, not for sell" on them. The boxes were used as evidenced by other people's names and wrong rooms written on them. I was told that my 3-bedroom apartment called for 80 boxes; I started packing myself and even with the boxes that I had packed on my own there was nowhere near 80 boxes and 80 boxes were not unpacked. Additionally, upon unpacking my belongings, I discovered several broken items that were mishandled during the packing, including but not limited to broken picture frames, wheels broken off carts, crushed games, and my Master's Degree diploma folded and stuffed into a box. This not only caused me significant inconvenience but also resulted in financial loss. Additionally, I noticed that many of my items were mixed in with those from other rooms, leading to confusion and further disarray in my new home. I was also disappointed to find that some of my beverages were consumed by your staff during the move, which I consider highly unprofessional and disrespectful. As a paying customer, I expected your team to conduct themselves with proper decorum. I believe that every aspect of the packing process should be handled with care and respect. Unfortunately, this was not my experience. When bringing all of this to the attention of the company I was met with rudeness and disrespect. I was told that if I did not pay the ADDITIONAL $500+, an amount that was never agreed upon, I would be taken to court. This matter has not been handled appropriately.
