So I decided to go back to Pinky. First visit went great, got my usual new set of acrylic nails and a pedicure. Second visit not so good. Just wanted a new set of nails only. I wanted pink and white, her nails were like that too only less white. told her I liked that, could she do mine like that said it 4 time only she just did them the way they were when I came it. I was in that chair for one hour and 35 minutes. I have never had my nail take more then 45 to 60 minutes from start to finish. On top of that a man came in and she yelled I will take him and at that point started rushing my nails, to late someone else took him. But the real topper was when she checked me out, she kept telling me to type my name in I was looking at the screen and my name and phone number was staring back at me. So I told her it is already in there, she got a little huffy came around the counter said type it in and deleted what was already in there so I had to redo it. The total on the screen was showing $65.00 due, when I finished retyping in my info she added on another $10.00 I said what is that for I left you a $10.00 tip at your table she said it was because she had to remove my old set. which was 8 nails not all 10. I have been having my nails done for over 30 years and NEVER EVER PAID EXTAR to remove the old set, it is always part of the price. I said I would be back in a week for a pedicure but trust me I will NEVER go back there again. They are a rip off. Plenty of other salons in town.

I only wanted a simple pedicure with gel polish and a plain manicure with no color. I was told the manicure would be 25 dollars and the pedicure would be 35 dollars plus 8 dollars to fix one toenail. My total should have been 68 dollars. When it was time to pay, they told me the total was 88 dollars which did not make sense based on what they originally told me. As it got closer to closing time they also began rushing me in a way that made me uncomfortable even while I was trying to pay. Because they were rushing me I did not have time to do the math and I just paid. Later I realized that it appears they added in a tip without asking. I left feeling overcharged by 20 dollars and not respected as a customer. I cannot help but feel that I was treated unfairly and possibly profiled. To make things worse it has been less than a week and the skin around my nails is already peeling as if I never got a manicure at all. I do not work with my hands and my manicures normally last weeks. This was clearly poor quality work. I was not going to write a review at first but after realizing I will have to get my nails redone so soon after being overcharged and rushed I am truly disappointed. I would not recommend this salon and would actively discourage others from coming here based on my experience.

I was excited considering it's been months and requested a simple short look for the full set with a ruby/maroon color. The person who did my nails said he had a better option than the color I wanted. He gave a nude color, which I was willing to settle for since he seemed very confident that this was a better option for the color dress I'll be wearing. He gave the short look I was going for, and the nails on the top don't look so bad even though some are more squared than others but the major problem is what's underneath between my nails and the acrylic. I wish I could ignore how terrible it looks but they're also very uncomfortable. He attempted to fix this by filing the acrylic down but it's just bad. I waited over 6 months to get my nails done to not only not get the color I wanted but also a mess that can't be ignored. I just moved to the area and was really hoping I had found a nail salon I can go to but my search will continue.

I got the Green Tea pedicure and a Gel X manicure. The salon was nice and really clean but My nail…read moretech seemed stand off ish. I was trying to pick a color when she walked up to me and asked what color I wanted, I told her a soft pink and she said ok come with me. She painted my toes white. After getting the pedicure (part of it is a 4 min shoulder rub which is why I picked this pedicure) we moved onto nails, I figured she would do the shoulder part at the end so didn't think anything of it. My nail shape and length looked great but there were chunks of dried gel on and around my nails she left on that left them looking not as manicured as I would like and then she said "you're all done" and walked to the front so I could pay which was a bummer becuase I wanted the other part of the pedicure, otherwise I wouldn't have spent so much on a pedicure. Overall, ok experience, not bad but not my favorite. There's also no online booking option, you have to call and as a new patron I don't know which techs are available so I can try someone new if I don't have a great experience with someone else. May try again soon, we'll see.
