I went in for a gel fill and they charged $35!!!! I could've gotten a new set for that price. They used to be fairly priced and did decent work but it's just gone down hill. My nails never lift & he really makes sure I get exactly what I want. Tee does my Waxing! She's the best! I trust her 100% with my eyebrows! She never goes to thin. Lori is the best for Pedicures!! The place looks nice. The eyebrow lady left three cuts over my left eye from cutting my eyebrow hair. The trip overall was a little over two hours. Pedicure and polish job was okay. Gel manicure and eyebrows were rushed (which is why she cut my eyelid to begin with). read more

1 Star for the staff being kind. 1 Star for convenience of being right next door. But I've never felt so ripped off by a nail salon. I think bc of their poor work and expensive prices this place doesn't get much business. Maybe that's why they charged me $80! I've never paid so much for nails. I wouldn't be complaining if they came out nice but that's the worse part. The nails are so ugly, they look like bad press ons!!!. $45 for nails which I had asked for "full set, acrylics" and she did another technique which just made the nail look so thick. They've do this, they tell you to get "dip powder" or this thing other technique "gel set" which I thought was acrylics with gel polish. Well they make the whole nail out of gel. While she was doing it I tried to tell her I wanted powder for the nail but she kind of just did it and said it was better for me. I'm not very confrontational so I just went with it. I need to speak up but they shouldn't take advantage of people either and charge whatever they want. And $35 for feet?!! For a gel pedicure. I didn't get any add ons and my manicure was so bad. So shocked how they would take advantage by nice customers. By the time the lady was done it was like what was I going to say. I had been a regular at this place for two years. When they upgraded to a new building I feel that their service downgraded. Every time I would come in they would rush through my nails. Sometimes they would skip the hand massage, and one lady was cutting my cuticles so rough that they bled. When I would get gel nails they wouldn't let me keep my hand under the light long enough. After my gel nails peeling two days after I got them I finally gave up on this place. read more

I was very unsatisfied with my nails. The lady doing them was rude, she didn't listen to anything I said when I commented on how she was doing it, all I received was an "it's okay" every time. The tools weren't clean for my hands, I felt as though I was sticking my arms into a pile of who knows how many other peoples nail dust. She was very inattentive, I kept getting burned by the nail files. I asked for an acrylic set and got all gel. My toes were done with normal polish and not gel polish, leaving my nails and toes two different colors. I had to switch ladies half way through my experience (The second lady did a great job at painting & design and was very nice). I have never left a salon feeling so disrespected on the wants / needs of MY nails that I was PAYING her to do. If there was a way to rate this lady 0 stars I would. read more

I have come here many times for a pedicure with a bunch of different people, and they usually do a pretty good job. However, the manicures are just okay. The first time I got a manicure, they did a great job. For the second one I've gotten here with a different person, I was super rushed, and it was done very sloppily. They also did not really clean up all the nail polish on my skin. I would recommend this place for pedicures, but manicures might be a hit or miss. read more

The salon was clean, everything seemed new-ish, the people were friendly, but I will NEVER go back. First off, they didnt have a good choice of nail polish. All of the OPI polishes were metallic. Second, when I get pedicures they last ATLEAST 3 weeks with no chipping, usually four. But when I got my toes done a Luxurious Nails and Spa they started chipping the second day. Its been 4 days since I've gotten them done, and I am now completely missing 5 nails, with my big toe missing half of the polish. And honestly I cant recall ever stubbing my toes or doing anything to cause this, like swimming. They also missed the sides of my toe nails, and that's never happened to me. This place lacks professional skills. I'll never be going back, or recommending this place to anyone. I had to atleast give one star on here, but if I could I wouldn't give any stars. read more

I have come to this salon since I was 15. I live in Hawaii and every time I come I get my nails done. Mrs T is so nice and sweet and enjoy talking with her but since she was busy I have been some other short lady to do my nails. At first I wouldn't mind the little mistakes but after I got my full set done I will never let her do my nails. Each nail is the not the same filed. My right hand is very noticeable that it's not the same length . She didn't file the sides so there is excess acrylic on my nails when I asked her to fixed it she pouted and finally I was over it and just wanted to leave. I still of course tipped her. The lady that did my pedicure was amazing!! She was so sweet and made me feel at home. It's sad the lady that did my fullest complained about working she didn't enjoy doing nails and she does whatever it takes to get money. I plan on going Monday and talking to the owner. read more

No blue colored spa water? Just plain water? This place is a shell of where I usually go. I'm going to have to drive 20-25 mins to Kearny Mesa to my old spot. I've been to four different places in IB and they're all dumps. This place included. I should've known by the look of the clientele that was there when I walked in. A 70 yr old, a 60 yr old, and three fat chicks (no offense). Oh, another one just walked in. They don't even put the callous remover on the bottoms of your feet. What kind of place is this? I'm giving directions to the manicurist on my hands. She doesn't know WTF she's doing . You know it's bad when you get done and you need a manicure. Someone please tell me where to go in IB, or anywhere south of the 54, to get a quality mani/pedi. A place with nice chairs, it's comfortable, they have many manicurist to serve you, and they actually do a good job. I could've soaked my feet in a bucket of warm water at home for what they did here. I figured out that if it's cheap, the service is probably crappy. I WON'T RETURN. What a waste of money! I am surprised that there are not more positive feedback notes left here. I love this place. I actually just got back from getting my eyebrows done and my nails done. They do a great job. Always do my nails the way I want them. They do my 6 year old daughters nails too. Very nice people! My circle of friends love going here as well. I especially love the fact that my acrylic nails never lift. I can go 3-4 weeks with out having a fill. read more

This nail shop was a complete waste of time.. Not only did they not have majority of colors in Gel that they had displayed but also totally rude about it, my friends and I went for a girls thing on a Saturday morning.. She kept telling my friend "don't have it pick another.." About 3x without ever apologizing just in a snobby attitude. Not only was that a problem but PLEASE make sure if u go here u ask EXACTLY what you will be paying, I got nails and toes, during the nail part I was told 20 for the acrylic then another 17 for the gel polish which was weird bc on the menu it said 30.. I didn't mind however until my friend came up to me saying "ask about shape they charged me $12 for shape" I asked she said "5 more dollars for shape" then I asked why was my friend charged 12 and I 5? Then I was a bit annoyed so I asked how much for Length and where does it say on the menu, maybe I was a bit petty but I mean after noticing them beginning to talk in their language and being snobby I figured same ol talking crap in their language.. 5 more for length.. then 10 dollars more for ombré.. It continued on to where I said "You know what just put the acrylics on I'm gonna get gel done somewhere else this is annoying now" she said no and she won't charge me for length or shape so I stayed.. I usually have no problem paying for those things as I'm picky with my nails but to wait for 2 damn hours bc only TWO ppl know how to do acrylic then to NOT have 70% of the colors they display.. Give me a damn break, I will never return again.. However thank you to the sweet lady who did my pedicure she was the only pleasant lady in the building and she did great (: read more
