I am in process of waiting for a Deposit from Wavex Logistics and so far, I was told the deposit was sent to the Driver and they don't seem to be able to get it returned as told to me by Sahara my contact. In all the shipping I have done the brokers keep the deposit and the driver who had never contacted me collects at the delivery point. So, I feel this is a stall to retain my Deposit. If I could post the picture of what the truck looked like that they were sending for my car, I would. I do not trust this company. John is pushy, plus I was told no deposits and no cancellation fee should be on your contract, and both are. I refused to give my card information and my bank account, and it seems I may even have to block them. After he sent the picture to my cousin (who is also a truck driver), my cousin said he did not feel comfortable with releasing my car to them because that is not a long-distance truck for hauling cars. Sean anderson is a disrespectful person. He was not helpful and tried a bait and switch tactic to jack up the price of shipping the vehicles. The driver did not pick up on the day scheduled and claimed of a mechanical failure. Then Sean went to pose alternatives after the pick up day was over. For the following day, prices went from 1750 for 2 cars to 3k estimates. Then he had other suggestions such as if you can't be there for pick up just leave your keys in the car when I discussed I am leaving the state. After I canceled he started being rude. I was very pleased with the service provided by Harry at Wavex. His timely responses to my questions and regular updates gave me confidence that he was doing his best to cover my transfer from Georgia to Ohio. It took longer than I expected for a carrier to want the load but once Harry had a carrier interested in taking the load he advised me it was a 5-star carrier with an enclosed trailer. The driver needed a bit more money than a big open rig and I agreed to it and do not regret anything. The driver was great and the car arrived perfectly. Agent Sean was nice and answered all my questions. First time ever shipping a car. He indicated there would be vehicle tracking to monitor its progress which was very important to me. I asked all the questions prior to booking with them: can we set a particular day and time frame window for pickup as my dad would be on one end and me on the other. I mentioned we would not leave keys in car for pickup and wanted to assure this company would offer personalized pickup/drop-off as well as a immediate schedule. The following day after making a deposit, the agent called me up to say they needed more money as a deposit because they may have a backup driver collect the car, but he needed additional insurance. I refused as this was outside the contact terms. Whilst the total amount remained the same, I do not understand why .ore money was needed up front and how this was my problem. The driver texted my father twice and said he would be there before noon. At 2:30 I get my dad calling me up irate and pissed off that the driver now says he will be there at 3:30. My dad refused to wait. When he said to the driver you can come at 9:30PM, driver canceled. Sean was able to get a new driver the following morning and vehicle was delivered safely to us. In the end that is all that matters.... however wouldn't it be nice if contractors/truckers say they will be there at x time and show up at x time? Wouldn't it be nice not to have a dad call up on a rant about contractors inability to maintain a promised schedule and wouldn't it be nice for me not to have to take additional time to have vehicle rescheduled for pickup when I am at work. The agent was nice and tried his best, but for some reason there are factors perhaps outside his control that leaves me to give 3 stars. I would use another company if zi had to do this again. They sent me a quote in March to transport my 6-seater golf car door to door. I accepted signed there contract and gave a deposit. I keep in touch with them every few weeks asking if everything was still good for my pick-up date. On April 16 I was told the driver was on his was with an ETA between 3-5 pm. He never showed up, when I Contacted Wavex Logistics they apologize that the driver would not be available to transport a gold cart. They knew this since March. We were schedule to leave Monday. The manger called and apologize but and asked if I wanted my refund he would give it back. He said he would continue to try to find a driver but not during the weekend. Monday I got a call a driver was available at triple the cost. This is a poor way to run a business and to not have employees properly trained. I thought by planning ahead I would be all set. Instead I have to pay triple for a last-minute haul. I will never trust them again. read more

WAVEX Logistics was suppose to pick up and deliver an RV for me. They did not provide the service due to some illegal action their driver had committed. I was promised by John that my Vehicle would be picked up that day at the same price the contract was sign for. I had already paid them 315 dollars and expected to pay the driver the rest when he got here. Then get a message from John that the price had gone up by 2,200 to get the vehicle delivered. When I reminded him of the promise he made he denied it. Fortunately, I have some of the promise on the text messages we exchanged. Attempt to get my deposit back, at first, told he had handed over to the accounting department, then I was just ignored, till I text John this will do their case more harm, then good. All I have gotten from them is delays, excuses, but no refund. Visited their site and looked at their reviews, by the way they do not place low stars, but one reviewer gave the a 4 star, but wrote how they scammed him out of the money and never delivered his vehicle either. read more

Wavex was an absolute nightmare. First driver missed the pickup schedule because he had a wreck and was arrested. Second driver was 3x times the price and demanded cash on delivery, which was never discussed. One of my motorcycles was delivered with a dead battery. The bikes were picked up from the Harley Davidson dealer in Batavia NY and were fully charged. The drive must have left the Aux on and now I am stuck with dealing it. Terrible experience. SCAM!!! I wish I would have read the reviews before I booked and put a deposit down. We had this pickup scheduled for two weeks, we were given the instructions that our driver would call us the Day of to let us know the arrival time. TODAY (day of pickup) we were given 1-2pm estimate time of arrival by driver (at around 12pm day of) after about 2:30 we started getting doubtful so we called and that's when they said they could not our car today. who waits until pickup time to cancel whenever it's a 6 hour drive to me? It just means they were never on the way. And good luck getting back your deposit, they will argue with you over it. My advice is call your bank/credit card and try to dispute it for scam because this is all this company is. A scam. All the good reviews on their website is fake! seems like I'm not the only person who had this problem, even if the company turns out to be "legit" (highly doubt) they are not reliable and will use any cause to keep your deposit even if it's totally on them For canceling. read more

We had arranged pickup of a golf cart to be delivered from FL to MN. Waited all day for a phone call on pickup time. They finally called and said their truck broke down. We gave them four more days to find a truck and they keep telling us they couldn't do it for the original price we agreed on. We told them we wanted our money back because they didn't provide the promised service. We were told no refund was coming because it wasn't their fault. We had to contact our credit card company to contest the charge. We were then told they would give us our money back but never did. read more

Had issues with these guys. Scheduled my pickup and got a text 5 minutes before the scheduled time that the driver was pulled over because of a stolen bike on his truck and he wouldn't be able to pick it up. I asked for a Police record number to verify that this was the case and never received a response. I called the broker and he said they couldn't do anything but they could schedule another pickup. I refused, and if you find yourself in the same case be very specific about the contract you signed, I was able to get a refund but it was really difficult. Im not sure if its a scam or if they eventually would have delivered it, but it was more stress than I could handle. Ended up using Federal Transport who got it done. If you use this company be prepared to quote and defend a breach of contract. Also, signing that you will not use another shipping company while you have a contract with them is VERY predatory, basically holding you in place unless they break contract first. I reported them to the FMCSA and NCCDB for improper conduct and deceptive delivery practices with efforts to prevent you from using a different company.
