They did some repairs to Mom's smart car - the next day we noticed a gas smell and brought the car back. A seal wasn't sealing as it should so they fixed it, cleaned out the gas smell and loaned Mom a car while this was happening. these are some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. There was a glitch with the repair and they jumped right on it and got it fixed no headache no arguing just great customer service. Had the most incredible experience here working with Ashleigh the front desk manager, and Frank the owner. They were amazing at communicating with me about any updates they had for my car. I was on a very tight timeline to get my car fixed from being rear ended. I needed the car to be fixed in 2 weeks before I moved! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED: My car began overheating, and the check engine light came on. I first took it to O'Reilly's Auto Parts to have the code read. They informed me the code was "lost communication with engine coolant pump control module," as you can see in the attached photo. I then took my car to Luxury Auto and informed them of the code, providing a picture, hoping it would guide their diagnosis. Despite receiving this information, they diagnosed a faulty thermostat and insisted on replacing all the coolant hoses as well. This initial repair cost $1600, which I reluctantly agreed to. However, within minutes of picking up my car and driving about 3 blocks, the check engine light returned. Upon returning the car, Luxury Auto claimed the issue was actually the coolant pump control module, requiring an additional $1300 to fix. Their explanation? They said their initial code reader didn't show any issues, so they assumed it was the thermostat due to a small coolant leak (I later learned that a thermostat or coolant issue would trigger a code). Now that they have the car again, their code reader is showing the coolant pump control module needs replacement. I contacted three other repair shops. All three emphasized that, given the code I provided, they wouldn't have replaced the thermostat without confirming it with their own code reader. Instead, they would have prioritized investigating the coolant pump control module first. So I picked my car up and found another place around the corner that knows what they are doing. read more

I have been searching for a new (used) car for about 8 weeks. I found many things I was interested in and I made many calls and every single time was met with problems, 5,000 questions and basically just a bunch of drama followed by "No"! I found this incredibly beautiful Maroon ruby red 2020 Mercedes E 450 coupe at this place called Luxury Auto in Austin. It took me a while to call because I wanted to check it out and get some opinions of friends and everyone told me it was a beautiful car and also every one said it was a fair price. Even the ad said that it was priced more than $3,000.00 below current market price. (Later I discovered that it had every option on it that Mercedes has to offer!!!) I called the dealership and got some salesman named Chris Skinner. I told him that I would buy the car ($38,000.00) but I did not want to put down more than $10,000.00. He spent maybe 5 minutes at the most on the phone with me asking me questions. He really surprised me by telling me that this was a big deposit and with that amount he would have no problem getting me financed. He hung up with me and maybe 20 minutes later called me back and told me to come and get the car and that he had it financed. I could not believe it! I don't have the best credit in the world so I expected to come to the dealership and get raped on the interest and anything else possible. I never got screwed. The interest was fair and competitive. And maybe the best part of all, I told Chris on the phone that all I want to do when I arrived was give him a ton of money and sign 3 papers and drive off. Didn't quite work out that way. I did give him a ton of money and signed 15 or 20 things but it did not take me anymore than 30 minutes from the time I walked in the front door to the time I was driving off in the car. Let me tell you: I'm old. I own a company and at the least I have purchased over 200 cars and trucks and never in my entire life have I have such a good time with people who were entirely professional and really knew their business, made the whole thing easy for me, and completely know what customer service means! One of my secretaries brought me to Austin to buy the car (I live in San Antonio) and I encouraged her to buy a car there because she is looking and every time one of my 30 employees sees the car they ask me questions and I give them Chris' number. If you're looking for a new car and don't go here to see Chris you are probably an idiot. And last, as not a rich guy but someone who is ok, I have never been treated so well and professionally.*** *** These people are excellent profession ass kissers better than me and that's saying something. Please note this review is for the Pflugerville location! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! It's costly to do service on luxury vehicles, but I felt that I could leave my car in a safe place, and that the technicians would care for my car as they would care for theirs at the first time of contact with this business. They were highly communicative and they went above and beyond. I had originally asked about vehicle inspection, but decided to hold off... They kindly added that onto my services and I was happily surprised. My car came back, squeaky, clean too, and the engine issues are good as of now. Now that I've had time to process what happened right in front of my eyes, I can share my tragic lose. Having a part replaced on my car that I didn't ask for but a different part, I arrived at the repair shop after waiting four long days to get her back. I payed a hefty fee for the repair so I waited eagerly for the service agent to turn over my keys. As I waited in the glass entryway of the shop, I noticed heavy smoke, as if someone was grilling right outside the front door. I went outside expecting to see one of the mechanics with grilling utensils, but instead I saw, heavy smoke plumes coming from the hood of my car. I immediately yelled, "My car is on fire!!!" and the word FIRE spread faster than the paint that was melting off the hood of my now engulfed car. Everyone that worked there ran toward the car with fire extinguishers and a water hose. After fighting flames for what seemed like an hour, the flames and smoke finally subsided and we all stood there in shock, staring at the hot gooey mess that is now my engine compartment. After speaking with management I asked for compensation for the damages and they're counter offer was for me to purchase a vehicle from them. If I could give less than 1 I would!! Do not believe the high ratings on this place. I had side swipe damage to my acadia denali and brought it here. They kept giving me new dates that it would be ready by for 3 weeks in a row. Then i go to pick it up and they did not align the pieces back. The front fender trim is falling off and my hatch back does not line up. When I got in the car it was COVERED in the dust from sanding parts I presume, my head board is covered in dirt prints, and what look like splattered soda? (Not sure why you would need in the back with a drink while fixing someones car), not to mention scratches covering the plastic piece by my door handle And speaker, the inner door locks BENT on the side they were repairing(pictures added comparing what they SHOULD look like), and trash left in different areas. This is complete disrespect to someones vehicle and should NEVER happen when left in your care. I am SOOO displeased at this place and very angered at the damage they caused. I hit a deer and wanted someone who specialized in luxury cars, specifically european cars, to repair my vehicle. Luxury Auto did a fabulous job with the body work on my car, it looks fantastic. Paint work was stunning, no more dents on the car, and they even replaced the vinyl stripes! I do have a very small panel misalignment, but I'm not going to ask them to fix it cause the bill ended up being very close to the value of the car. Thank god for car insurance Customer service was okay in the beginning, but as soon as I dropped my car off everyone was super friendly. My only complaint was that the completion date was pushed back several times. The wait was 1000% worth the quality of the job though! read more

They stained my car the floor mats and console. It's drywall residue on it according to the supervisor email reply, From the neighbor unit cutting something. Any repair shop I've been to always put Paper mats down as soon as they have the car. Rather then replacing my stained mat my he offer to vacuum it. As if I didn't try that already. the car is new from February '22 polestar 2 luxury car it's Disrespectful for them to give it back in worse condition. they wanted to still charge us when I said I didn't want them to repair my car after seeing the stains due to lack of trust. I had to complain to cancel the repair. all they did was order a small clip part that was going to take 3 weeks to come in, so we went to pick the car back up and it was returned in they condition. They were quick to get my car in the shop and get it repaired. They did send me video of the things wrong with my car and even fixed a pesky headlight issue I was having. Took my Maserati in for an oil change recently (N. Lamar). Got a Mercedes loaner, which is a very nice service touch, that many do not offer, so that was cool. Got call later that same day, saying a lot of other repairs were needed for the 2 year maint. but it was very expensive, so I declined. (I did not have records at the time I dropped it off showing what I had done). Company would also not reset the maint. light due to liability risk as explained on phone. That was an odd inconvenience, but something I could easily work around on my own via an ODB II meter, which I took care of. I did do research in the Ghibli service manual and also the dealer who sold me the car, (later) and found that my 2 year service was already done, and really it's no big deal, just an oil change and a cabin filter. I also did find the oil level was about 12-13 oz overfilled, when I checked it a couple times, cold and warm. So, either incomplete drain of the oil, which I suspect, or possibly too much was added, not clear. I did speak to the area manager later by phone, today, and he mentioned to check it again, after bringing to operating temp, and letting it set a bit. I will research this more to insure I have it now at correct level. Update1: Checked forum and the service manual, Maserati Ghibli oil level is to be checked 5 mins after engine has been warmed up and turned off. Older Maserati's actually check while engine is running, but not modern Ghibli. This is not an easy car to check, but I'm glad I pulled out the extra oil. Anyways, Luxury Auto works is cheaper than the local dealership. The staff was friendly during my visit. When I spoke to the area manager he stated he would insure my next experience would be very good, and offered a credit for that next service. I will likely try the Pflugerville or other shop(s) and see how it goes. If all goes well on this next service, I will up the rating on the review further. read more

The issue would have been resolved earlier had I been in town. If you have a legitimate hiccup with service, reasonably speak to the service manager. My VW was due for its 60k service, along with a spark plug change. I knew it would be a costly service, but also knew to shop around for this one. It was between Luxury and the similarly popular VeeDub place in town - but Luxury had more consistent top notch reviews. I called to make my appointment and....was emailed an estimate. I was emailed and estimate. I can't say that enough. It kind of floored me. I went in knowing what to expect and it came in under what I thought it would be. I showed up a day later for my 9am drop off and was put in a curtesy vehicle (also prearranged, no hoping). It was a fantastic S class Mercedes, an upgrade for me even if it did have 120k miles - it purred like a kitten. Stephanie (receptionist) called me to provide an update and recommended services - which I expected at 60k. She was clear on what could wait (the owner, who was working in my vehicle, also provided guidance) and what should be done soon. I had been waiting to replace the lower control arms, which the dealership recommended a year ago. They provided the estimate for that service and we set it up for the next week. I had my car back that day and pickup was a breeze. Even bringing the car back for the repair was easy - this time I got another curtesy vehicle (C class Mercedes this time, 200k Miles still purring)- but they again had my car done the same day. I now know what I'll need to get done at 70k and know where I'll head for the service. Great shop, and great people. read more

Took my Mom's 2004 Lincoln Navigator in for AC repair October 2021. We all know how HOT it is in Texas. The car needed a compressor. Great. They will order the part for repair. Picked up the car. It has the standard 3 year/36,000 mile warranty on the part. Worked great for several months. Completely went out again in June 2022. They stated the Relay/Switch went out. They had it for several weeks. I called to check on the status of the repair. Gus stated it would be ready tomorrow. He contacted me stating it was ready, and would be $307. I asked is that for labor? He stated it was for a switch. I told him we'd just brought it in and paid for a switch the last time it was in a couple of weeks ago. He calls 5 minutes later stating there would be NO CHARGE for the repair. Thomas contacted me shortly after the call CONFIRMING there would be NO CHARGE, and to let him know if it goes out again. I contacted my Mom and informed her there would be no charge. When she arrived Gus informs her there would be a $307 charge. WHAT?!? He advised that he was incorrect when he told me that there would be NO CHARGE. I told my mom just pay them the money and I will reimburse her. As I told Gus, he should've contacted me and advised that he and Thomas were incorrect. Not blindside my Mom. We are talking about $300.... Patrick advised that they will pay for the part and YOU PEOPLE are always like this??? Not at all sure why he'd make such a rude and nasty comment. The car NEVER got fixed. I dropped my Mercedes off and was given a loaner within 10 minutes. I was called back within a few hours to say that the car is still under warranty and that I should take it to the dealership. I was under the impression that my warranty was out which is why I didn't take it there in the first place, they corrected me and let me know they wouldn't be taking my money! These guys tried to sell me a lemon of a car!!!!! Never buy a car here!!!! Probably never get your car repaired either because they are LIARS!!! Tried to sell me an Acura RDX that had a turbo issue which they knew about because when I got a pre-buyer inspection report, they had reset the code for the "check emissions" light literally 27 miles before the inspector drove it which means RIGHT before they let me test drive it for the afternoon because my work was about 20 miles away and I drove it straight there for the Auto PI guy since I didn't want coercion from the dealership if he did report there. I don't know how to warn people not to buy from this shop. I would never ever trust them. They were shady from the beginning saying I could not take the car on an extended test drive home because it was "too far". Then the manager wanted me to call him when the inspector was doing his report which was odd. They didn't even offer to help pay me back for the report I paid for. They claimed not to know anything about the turbo issue but I believe the Auto PI guy over the dealer/salesman.
