The finished piece's dimensions are only 11" x 24"-- so QUITE small in the grand scheme of things. Several vendors I had called previously informed me that they don't take on such niche projects. Custom Marble Design, however, were the first to respond and went above and beyond in their customer service, execution, and workmanship. As soon as they received my inquiry, they extended an invite to visit their location and shop thru available remnants. When I arrived, I was personally escorted around the premises and shown a variety of options (multiple stone types and color variations.) I had lots of questions-- all of which were answered thoroughly and kindly. Even though I arrived about 30 minutes before closing time (I received their invite while I was running errands & headed straight over), I never felt rushed or dismissed. My "little project" was treated with the utmost care & respect. This location also offered me a flat rate price for the project, so there were no hidden fees or complications regarding the stone I selected or my finishing parameters. I officially placed my order (stone selection and project specs) on Tuesday and was shocked to learn that it was ready for pick up that Friday. I just picked up the finished stonework today & could not be more pleased with the results! The order was completed to my exact specifications & finished with care. When I told them that I'd carry the piece to my car they insisted on taking it out for me. Everyone I encountered at this business (in person & via email) was exceptionally attentive, professional, and kind. (Special thanks to Bojan & Jovan and their fabulous fabricators!) Spoke to Irene Lopez and went down the next day. She showed me my "chosen" Terrazura and also had another slab she thought would work. Both slabs looked great with my flooring, cabinet and paint colors. I went with the Terrazura and everything continued to go smoothly through installation. I have been ignored by Jose and the management team for over a week despite my repeated attempts to resolve a botched installation. I grew up the granddaughter of a Stone Mason; I know quality work, and I know when a company is taking shortcuts. I specifically chose my stone because I was told it would NOT require a seam. Later in the process, the story changed. It became clear they simply didn't want to deal with the labor-intensive task of maneuvering a large slab into place--a job that might have required a minor wall repair but would have resulted in the superior finish I paid for. I only begrudgingly agreed to a seam because they promised it would be executed perfectly. My original fears were justified: it was a disaster. The issues: * Poor Craftsmanship: The seam is recessed and uneven. It is a functional defect that collects debris and requires constant scrubbing. * Lack of Effort: While I understand vein matching is difficult, there was clearly no attempt at a professional transition here. It stands out like a sore eye. * Dismissive Management: After a failed "repair" (just smeared epoxy), the stone manager told me "nothing more can be done." In an era of digital fabrication, that is a flat-out lie. I would never dream of treating my own clients with this level of neglect. If the check has cleared, Factory Plaza is finished with you. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because the kitchen island turned out well and Gina in the front office was a sweetheart who went above and beyond to try and remedy the situation. I had home projects and money ready to spend with this business but…read moreapparently they don't need it and would rather ghost their customers than communicate professionally. 2 months ago I requested a home quote, they responded immediately and I had a project manager at my house with 2 days. She came over and took measurements and we discussed the projects I wanted completed. She was in my house for 1.5 hours! I sent her follow up emails with multiple pictures and design ideas I wanted to incorporate. She said she would follow up within 2 weeks. Now, 2 months later- nothing. I have sent follow up emails to the PM, called the PMs cell phone as well as the main business number leaving voicemails. No return calls or emails. Even a short message saying they are too busy to take on new projects would have been well received. Why even come over to my house to NOT give me a quote or follow up with me again?? Will not be working with this company or recommending them to anyone.

We know someone in the real estate business who recently shared that our kitchen is by far the best kitchen in the condo building, and he has been in many units. Our kitchen remodel turned into a kitchen, dining, and family room remodel. Walls were opened up and closets removed or reduced in size. The space was much more open, modern and beautiful! The mix of white and darker cabinets, of tile and accent tile, of appliances, and of lighting made it stunning! As with many remodel projects, and we have had many, there are sometimes surprises along the way. Jessica adapted quickly. In the end, even the owner stopped by as well to make sure we were fully satisfied. We cannot ask for more integrity in people. Reflecting back, we realize that we were blessed with a game-changing remodel at a very reasonable price. We had an opportunity to stop by their updated showroom recently and noticed a beautiful painting in one of the displays. We learned that it was done by one of their designers.
