I showed a picture, was told it could be done, and paid. The final result was incredibly bumpy and uneven. When I complained, the staff escalated the situation and called the police on me. The police arrived, looked at my nails, and let me go."paid $45 I paid cash for a nail service, and the final result was completely unacceptable. The nails were extremely bumpy, uneven, and poorly done. When I calmly brought this to the worker's attention and asked them to fix it, they flatly refused. Instead of acting professionally, the employee became highly defensive and hostile, repeatedly insulting me by claiming I "just wanted a refund."To make matters worse, they refused to even give me a physical receipt for my cash payment. It is completely unprofessional to take a customer's cash for defective work, refuse to correct it, and then accuse them of being dishonest when they ask for acceptable quality. I Have currently been waiting in this salon for 2 hours, i had an appointment with nana (2:30) it's now 4pm and I'm still waiting for them to put my pedicure water in. They just completed my pedicure...it turned out ok. Before i got in the chair the lady cleaned the foot part and the inside of the tub then cleaned the chair with the same towel. It's now 5:04pm and i'm still waiting to get my nails done. Nana took another woman before me and keeps trying to pawn me off on other techs. The reason i wont go to anyone else is because she is the only person I can trust to do them per the reviews As far as covid-19...they are not enforcing the mask policy, 3 girls have been in here talking loud w no mask for 3 hours now and eating. They are not wiping the tables down before taking the next person. Also, they are not cleaning all touchable areas on the pedicure chairs At this point i will not be coming back. They do not value your time, health, or appointment. And on top of that it came up to $90 with tip included. my usual place is $60 with no wait. Will not be coming back Everyone was very nice. This place is so great! The people are amazingly nice. I don't remember the name of the woman I was serviced by but she took her T I M E on my full set to make sure it was exactly how I wanted. The shape is so nice. The atmosphere is not super relaxing but it is very homey feeling because everyone talks to you and makes sure you're okay. Had a dip manicure that began chipping horribly within a week. When I come to Nana's salon, my manicures are beautiful and last a solid 3 weeks. My sister and I called to schedule a mani pedi for two people and we were assured they could accommodate us. When we arrive they tell us they were only told about two pedicures. After confirming that my nails were real and I only needed to get a gel polish change they agreed to do my nails. These people couldn't even do a basic french pedicure. The man was inappropriate during my pedicure and then had an attitude when I told him I didn't like the color he chose. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I decided to give East Falls Nailery a second chance, as my first one was not great. I made a Saturday appointment for a pedicure. I still had to wait. When I went to the pedicure chair, I noticed how nice they were and they used plastic to cover the tubs. This was promising. After sitting down, I noticed a few flies buzz by. Okay, no big deal. Next thing I know there are tons of fruit flies and regular flies hanging around. They had a young girl with a fly swatter, trying her best to kill them. I was pretty grossed out, as I had to keep fanning them away from me. I tried to keep my mouth closed as much as possible. During the pedicure, I realize they use fresh oranges. Another customer was telling them, that the fruit flies were coming from the case of oranges. The owner said they were coming from outside when people walk in. A few black flies may come in, but the fruit flies def came from the fresh fruit sitting on the floor in the back. I would recommend they invest in some type of fridge to keep the fruit refrigerated and away from pest. This has scared me away and will scare others away. All in all, the girl did a nice job with the pedicure, but I was not relaxed due to the atmosphere. read more

Overall, I would give this place 3.5 stars, but since that wasn't an open I rounded down. Going into the salon, there was no wait but the atmosphere was pretty loud. A woman talked loudly the entire time and another woman who sat next to me listened to music on her headphones that was audible to me sitting 3 feet away from her. There were also kids running around the salon. As soon as I sat in the chair, the woman put the cap on the water bath upside down so it squirted water all over me. I know it was a mistake but that's where the rounded down number came into play. I asked for a nail color which I was told only came in gel to later find out it did in fact come in normal polish. The pedicure was average, they definitely give a shorter massage than most. Overall the pedicure was just okay but my nails looked good after. Upsides: they use new tools, pedicure bath liners and new pedicure stones for each customer. So I did appreciate the cleanliness. I'm not sure I'd return. I would recommend h20 nails over this place because the atmosphere is more relaxing and you get a longer foot massage.. just make an appointment before you go. read more

So upon my entrance here the woman that greeted me was very welcoming... the bathroom was clean, I Immediately was able to get service because I came earlier in the day...the woman that serviced me was maybe of Dominican race and the only reason I mentioned her race is because I've been getting my nails and feet done since I was a teenager and I've always had Asian men or woman do my nails and feet so I was happy to see a different race tackling my feet lol :) I didn't get the young lady's name, she didn't offer her name to me which is okay...She was very gentle with my feet...I wanted her to not be as gentle, but she does give a great finale foot massage at end with the hot stones that feel amazing..I feel as if my pedicure was over a little too fast for $27...But she was Very pleasant..but to say the least, I was very relaxed in the massaging chair while they played a mixed genre of music via YouTube music that displays the music videos as the songs plays. The other ladies that worked at the salon did check on me to inquire that I was enjoying my pedicure inwhich I was ...thanks again ladies..for your overall kindness. ---FYI They have plastic in the pedicure tubs..Which is a bonus it's something that I liked that the salon "H20" does..it's more sanitary for the customer and YES they do change they plastic with each customer...I state this bc the plastic is already in the tub before you sit down but rest assured it's new plastic..i saw them change the plastic after my pedicure was complete, I also liked the fall decor and the scented candles that they have to match the current autumn season. I am very happy with the work they do here and even more impressed with the hours! They are open long hours every day! For busy people like me, w/unpredictable schedules, who sometimes have to squeeze nail appts in whenever, THAT is a plus. I'm so glad I decided to give this salon a try. The salon is nice inside, & definitely hygienic. The nail techs really care about the work they do and about making sure that people have not only beautiful, but healthy,nails. I've should've said something right then and there!!!!! it wasn't until a week later I noticed that my foot was inflamed I was sick that week so I couldn't go into the nail salon but the next week when I told the manager what happened to my foot she was ignorant yelling, screaming on the top of her lungs being unprofessional and call me dirty! When I pay for my manicures 200+$$$ !!! Her employees are extremely ignorant as well! I had the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon! The customer service was horrible and my fingernail paint chipped hours after they were finished. I asked for dip powder nails and instead I was given acrylic with gel paint on top. They didn't match my nails and toes even tho that is what I requested. I was charged $80 for a mani/pedi and I have never been charged that much in my life. I will never go back here again and I advise you not to go either! read more

My nail tec was SO SWEET and very quick to do anything I asked so I want to be sure I give her credit for that! (Unfortunately I did not catch her name) All in all she did a pretty good job. Below you'll find a couple of things that fell short for me.. My appointment was at 11am and did not start until 11:20 The shop is clean but dated I was disappointed to find my gels were very sticky when finished. Almost as if they had not dried all the way. I've never had that happen before..My nail tec was quick to remove what she used as a top coat and replace it with something else when I asked her to.... with the new top coat they were better but still sticky. My nail tec never applied cuticle oil to my hands and they NEEDED it. In conclusion.. This spot gets the job done & the staff is very kind but I wouldn't make it my go. read more

I was getting a hair cut at a salon close by so I decided to try this nail salon out. I got a gel manicure and it was just awful. The guy who did it shaped by nails and I noticed that one hand was way shorter than the other so I let him know and showed it to him. He said he would fix it but ended up just cutting the other side even shorter! At this point I was already disappointed and felt like things couldn't possibly get worse but boy was I wrong. He then proceeded to paint my nails but got the gel all over my cuticles. He tried to clean it off with his fingernail. He spritzed his hands with alcohol in between to clean them but then wiped them on his pants. Wtf!! It was extremely unsanitary. My nails look terrible and I wasted $35. read more

This place is ok. I've been 3 times mostly bc they are down the street and they do dip powder nails. But, it's not very clean as compared to other places I've been. Also, bc I don't go very often, they usually will put me with the same tech who doesn't do the best job. I got the dip powder again, it's an average job, but not as good as other places I've gone. Also, the tech that usually does my nails is kinda odd. She will look up weird videos on her phone and then show them to me. Nothing inappropriate, but just odd lol. This place is awesome! I frequent H2O and Cinderella Nails in Manayunk, and while I love them both, I always feel rushed and like they are overwhelmed. This place really took there time and seemed to care more about quality then rushing me out. I almost fell asleep during the pedicure! The scrub itself was ten minutes and she did things none of the other places do. Everyone in there was sweet, smiling, happy to help and talking to the customers. I will def be back! I just called to schedule an appointment and I was rushed off of the phone because the worker said she was too busy to take an appointment. So I will be going to another salon. I went on a Friday it was crowded but all the techs was so friendly they didn't look up and try rush who was already in their seat they all were kind and caring about those who waited. I decided to come after reading reviews and checking a few photos on Instagram. The space is so calming. Although the wait was long it was expected on a Friday and it gave me time to see why people love it i spoke with about 3 women who are regulars and they raved about it showing me pictures of previous work. I've been trying so long to find a nail salon that didn't nickel and time prices for length and style. I loved how my tech was able to ask what i wanted and free styled it.
