When it was time to pick up my car, I handed over my ticket and as I was waiting (which was not long at all) EVERY staff member who passed by me checked in to make sure I was already being helped. I work at events for a living and have dealt with many valet companies over the years--this team truly stood out. So when a friend referred AJ Valet Parking, I was not hopeful to be received enthusiastically and affordable service for such a small job. At 12.00 a.m. we still had most of the guests dancing. They extended the service for an extra hour without taking advantage of the situation. At 1.00 a.m. They parked 5 remaining cars at the curb. All were professional and knowledgeable (e.g. they knew my specific neighborhood and its parking constraints; they provided realistic estimates about how many cars I'd probably need parked based on number of confirmed guests, and all three gave honest advice about whether a valet service would even be needed), but Jose's price was by far the best deal. The point I'm making is that Jose's knowledge and professionalism easily matches the other highest rated, but more expensive options. On the day, Joes's team arrived exactly when scheduled, setup with no difficulty, and confidently provided service for the entirety of our agreed upon window. In comparison, we had other vendors for our party (Bar Tender; Hot Dog Man!) that required varying degrees of support and interaction. But not Jose's team from Logistic -- I literally never had to do ANYTHING for them. They just took care of their work all on their own. As their shift wound down, coinciding with the end of our party, they easily handled moving remaining guests' cars so that they were easily visible from our front door, handed off the keys to me, collected their check, and packed up and said their friendly goodbyes, leaving nary a trace that they were ever there. I'm updating this review to reflect that payment was eventually issued, and that Arden's restaurant management was communicative and supportive throughout the process, doing their best to escalate the matter with the valet service. While I'm relieved to have received partial reimbursement, I stand by my original concerns regarding Curbstand's lack of full responsibility regarding the full reimbursement of my key. Curbstand is hands down the most negligent, unprofessional valet company I've ever dealt with. I was told by their valet that my car would be parked safely on the restaurant property under their supervision. Instead, they dumped it at a public street meter, completely unsupervised, without telling me. Because of their blatant negligence, my car window was smashed in and I had nearly $10,000 worth of personal belongings stolen - including my YSL backpack, Cole Haan bag, MacBook Pro, and Bond No. 9 cologne. To make matters worse, when I confronted them, they tried to brush it off and insult my intelligence by saying, "a homeless person must have broken into your car." Really? Fortunately, I was later provided security footage from another company that showed exactly what happened: another car pulled up, a person got out, smashed my window, and stole everything. The only reason my bags were even in the car was because valet assured me the vehicle would be on-site and monitored. That was a lie. They completely failed in their duty, showed zero accountability, and are now trying to dodge responsibility altogether. Curbstand is dishonest, careless, and dangerous to trust with your vehicle.
