They moved guests in and out of their cars efficiently, always making sure everyone had a large umbrella so no one got soaked. When it was time to pick up my car, I handed over my ticket and as I was waiting (which was not long at all) EVERY staff member who passed by me checked in to make sure I was already being helped. I work at events for a living and have dealt with many valet companies over the years--this team truly stood out. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made a huge difference, and I'm genuinely grateful for their service. Obviously since I had zero choice, I got out of my car and a doorman said that the event was postponed, and we had to return an hour and fifteen minutes later. Thankfully, my car was still there so I told the original guy to cancel it. Kid that got out of my car however reeked of sickly sweet fragrance, to the point I wanted to tell him I didn't want him back in my car. He also didn't shut the door behind me, simply left it wide open. Returned later as instructed, then had to sit in a line for about 15 minutes, so there must have been some sort of holdup which by now, doesn't surprise me. Finally received another ticket, then find out the event was cancelled. Although this again was not the fault of BHB, they were completely unorganized where I could hear others complain they had been waiting for their car for nearly 20 minutes. One poor girl had to make a flight, and she was extremely patient about it, but these guys couldn't get anything right. So when a friend referred AJ Valet Parking, I was not hopeful to be received enthusiastically and affordable service for such a small job. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased after my conversation with Arthur. He handled this small potato very professionally. He detailed every small aspect of the way they would handle this. I was convinced and signed the contract he emailed me for service from 6 p.m. to midnight. Three (yes 3) good looking young men in nice and clean uniforms arrived 15 minutes before promised time, They introduced themselves, setup street signs in proper locations, setup a Valet stand with umbrella in front of the house and wished us a happy party. At 12.00 a.m. we still had most of the guests dancing. They extended the service for an extra hour without taking advantage of the situation. At 1.00 a.m. They parked 5 remaining cars at the curb. Delivered the keys in an envelope, picked up all the signs and did not charge extra.

I appreciate that their co-founder and team finally responded and issued the payment, and I'm glad to have some resolution. That said, I want to note that they didn't to reimburse the $350 car reprogramming fee, despite the theft of my keys occurring while under their care. I'm updating this review to reflect that payment was eventually issued, and that Arden's restaurant management was communicative and supportive throughout the process, doing their best to escalate the matter with the valet service. While I'm relieved to have received partial reimbursement, I stand by my original concerns regarding Curbstand's lack of full responsibility regarding the full reimbursement of my key. My recommendation, use their service with caution and always ask about liability before handing over your keys.

Curbstand is hands down the most negligent, unprofessional valet company I've ever dealt with. I was told by their valet that my car would be parked safely on the restaurant property under their supervision. Instead, they dumped it at a public street meter, completely unsupervised, without telling me. Because of their blatant negligence, my car window was smashed in and I had nearly $10,000 worth of personal belongings stolen - including my YSL backpack, Cole Haan bag, MacBook Pro, and Bond No. 9 cologne. To make matters worse, when I confronted them, they tried to brush it off and insult my intelligence by saying, "a homeless person must have broken into your car." Really? Fortunately, I was later provided security footage from another company that showed exactly what happened: another car pulled up, a person got out, smashed my window, and stole everything. The only reason my bags were even in the car was because valet assured me the vehicle would be on-site and monitored. That was a lie. They completely failed in their duty, showed zero accountability, and are now trying to dodge responsibility altogether. Curbstand is dishonest, careless, and dangerous to trust with your vehicle.
