It's been a few months since I went to this salon, and I can definitely say DO NOT GO HERE!! I didn't go to another salon after this experience and I decided to let my toenails recover from all the digging and scraping they did at my feet. Long story short, I got a fungal infection from here! I did my research and fungal infections from nail salons come from scrapes to the skin and improper sterilization of tools. Let's sum everything up: - Overcharged me for my service by $20 - So rough on my toes that it hurt to walk after - Polish was chipped immediately after leaving the salon - Gave me a fungal infection that I will need to see a doctor for!! read more

If you want your nails to look like trash, this is the place. The language barrier doesn't help, either. The reason the polish looks like crap is probably because they water it down. The only positive is that they're cheap but you get what you pay for. I've done a better job myself. Response to owner: My honest review on social media isn't what hurts your business. If you want to not receive negative reviews, fix the issues I pointed out. Stop watering down literally every polish that was put on my nails and interact with your customers. People want to feel pampered when they come, not to sit in silence while someone paints their nails. Focus on the quality of your work and the quality of the experience for your clientele. As for me, I'll be going elsewhere tomorrow to get my polish redone or I'll just remove the polish for a couple weeks. Have to say that was the most painful pedicure massage I have ever had, same goes with having my toe nails painted super painful as she was digging her nails into my toes to hold them. OUCH!!! We pointed to and asked for the deluxe pedicure and ended up with the more expensive pedicure. (Not cool) I also asked for both of our nails to be cut short. they were not still very long as in a few weren't cut at all. I will have to shorten them when I get home because long toenails and tennis shoes hurt. Also I hate it when they are putting their instruments into a sterile packaging that was never closed. They were never sterilized. they just keep reusing the same package. Tricking customers to thinking they are sterile not acceptable. I .are my appointment 2 weeks in advance to get my eye lashes filled and have highlights put in my hair. The appointment was booked with the same person,Tammy. My confirmation for my appointments gave time and booked alottment of time to be 1& 1/2 hours fir eye lash fills and said it would be $60 and said 3 hours to do my hair and it would be $100. I hot there at 5 til 2, and had to wait about 15 minutes, which was no big deal. I went in and explained that I like my eyelashes done classic style as natural looking as possible with individual lashes mostly and that I DID NOT WANT THICK lashes that looked like the strip lashes that seem to be popular with the younger generation. I like minimal with flair at the edge. It took the hour and 1/2 she had me booked for. She finished and left me for about 10 minutes then came back to take the tape off my bottom lashes and ripped the left eye bottom lashes from the edge to the middle of my eye completely out. Then she told me she couldn't do my hair that she wouldn't have time because she was short staffed. She didn't offer to reschedule just said she was sorry. Then when I saw my lashes I was so disappointed. They ate so thick and look exactly like I asked for them NOT TO BE DONE. I went to pay and insteD of charging me the $60 that I was told it would be and was sent the booking and price for she said it was $85... when I asked her why she said it was because of Groupon, to which I replied I didn't book through Groupon, then she said it was her own pricing and had already ran my card. She ran it so quick she ran it as a credit instead of debit. I am so incredibly upset. I have been sitting in my car for an hour and 1,/2 trying to find a salon on this side of town since I'm already over here( I live in Maricopa) to no avail for at least another week. I am so disappointed in the professionalism, the cleanliness of the salon and the fact that she changed her pricing and didn't honor the appointment, but..... I can only imagine what my hair would have looked like based on how she didn't listen or care about how I requested my lashes..... its probably a blessing in disguise that she didn't do my hair. Oh and the salon had 1 person in it having their nails done. Would NOT RECOMMEND, EVER!!!! read more

Well where should I start? I was recommended to Tammy to do my nails, which she does do a good job, but when I made a appointment to get a pedicure it was bad. I told Tammy that gal that did my pedicure didn't get my heels, and she said, I'll make sure you get you a good pedicure next time. Wow! Then I was referred to Sharon, for my hair, but was booked with Sheryl, but didn't tell me that until I got there. She didn't use a dark enough color to cover my roots, which cost me $100. So I called her to fix it, which she did, but had the never to charge me $70 more to fix her mistake. BIG mistake! I get my nails done every 2 weeks, and my hair every 4 weeks. Great Tues morning with Tony, one of the owners of Vivid. Asked for and got something different. A modified French- super. As has been my experience for the last year Tony does a great job on my nails and several of the pedicure gals are great, Helen and Lolita. Even though the shop is a walk-in, I feel like my time and theirs is important so I always make a recurring appt. If/when I've found it necessary to change they work with me and if I run late a call let's them know. I'm a 3 week mani customers and plan on that for a long time with Vived as my shop of choice. They had a long wait and the girl who worked on me was horrible. At the beginning she was quiet then later she talked about her daughter the whole time and didn't focus on my nails. (SNS lasts the longest on my nails. I'm a picker and I think this brand is the strongest) Tony did my nails and we talked the whole time, he's so nice! I told him I wanted a "skinny straight" nail LOL not quite coffin but not as wide as the tip usually is.
