They made sure not to let the palm leaves fall into my other neighbors' yards and checked with me often to make sure the job was being done to spec. Very disappointed with this company. A landscaper recommended them and we will not be using them either. Price was good, owner seemed knowledgeable but he was not around to supervise the team that he brought to our home. The chainsaw didn't work, (apparently this tree company only has one), the workers were nice enough but lacked experience. They drop a log into my pool, one of the employees fell in the pool too. Ok stuff happens. They dropped a log into my neighbors yard and broke a light. We called the owner and told him to pull off the job, he committed to being on site for the removal of the last two trees, but left again without telling us and they dropped a log on my pool equipment. They were to arrive Thursday morning by Thursday afternoon they called to push off start until Friday (my husband had taken Thursday off of work). On Friday they showed late but started the work. By Friday afternoon they had some work done and left a huge pile of debris in my yard and had debris in neighbors yard (again my husband took off work). LV Tree Works said they would come back Saturday to finish and no showed. My husband then emailed them cancelling the remainder of the contract due to this. 5 days later, I get a call from Brandon who allegedly hadn't read the email and apologizing for the delay in getting a crew out to finish. This business was late and never arrived when we discusses so to please the HOAs deadline for the dead limbs we hired a new guy and he came out next day to cut the dead limbs off our tree. About a week later this company came out and texts my wife jobs done and to pay them. When my wife explains that they didn't do the work we hired a different guy who came out days ago and sends them pics they said "no we had a contract and tried to bully and threaten my wife. I saw this business working on a nearby property and asked a worker how much it would cost to trim one palm tree which is about 20 feet high. He then pointed me to his boss that saw the tree and quoted $40.00. I agreed and the worker climbed the tree and took care of it inside of 15 minutes. They said when they are finished with that other property, they would come back and pick up the palms that they left in my driveway. They didn't. They drove by and didn't even look. I called Brandon (the owner/manager) and he agreed they dropped the ball and would come back to pick them up. 3 days later, the palms are still in my driveway. I called the office number in which a lady answers the phone and the first thing she asked was how much they charged me. I told her that they charged $40.00 (and I gave them a 25% tip) so she called Brandon who told her they're running behind and they don't work on weekends. She called back and then told me that I would need to take care of it myself since they don't have time and it's too close to the weekend now, then she went on to say, "We normally charge $150.00" (this is without her having any knowledge of the tree or what was said on site). She said they gave me a deal because they were already in the neighborhood. I told her that I don't care if the agreed price was only $3.00 since they quoted the price on site and the price was agreed upon regardless of their $150 normal price. I don't need some flunky on the other end of the phone having her try to make excuses for their incompetence for overbooking where they can't be the master of their trade. Seeing that the owner is cruising around in his 75k pickup truck and not supervising the jobs they are doing, I'm surprised they are still in business. One more thing. My wife is a top realtor in LV & manages 83 properties as well. This was a test that LV Tree Worx failed. They might have picked up more work if they were true to their word, but reading the other reviews, it looks like they can't handle what they have scheduled. read more

Brandon knows everything about tress and goes the extra step. He is not salesman like so there is no pushing. His company is professional and they show up. The crew is respectful and fearless on those trees. They take requests and suggestions and do a little more rather than a little less. Prices are reasonable also. We have had LV do both preventive and wind damage. We are getting our trees finished and then will go on a maintenance contract for next year. read more

But as planes started dying they were not responsive and did not much to correct it. they did put one new plant in to replace one but they never opened the spout to the drip system so in also died. I worked for this company for a couple months and I would not recommend them for anything. The owners are very disrespectful and shady. They never pay their employees on time, nor for the full amount. Yet they both drive brand new vehicles,(a lifted dodge diesel, and a brand new suv) and had just put a brand new engine in their speed boat. Yet they cannot pay their employees. They would lowball estimates and instruct us to half you know what the jobs. We never had the correct equipment for the jobs, and were operating trucks with no registration or insurance. The headlights on one truck didn't work and the lights on the chipper trailer were not functioning. Very dangerous to operate and unsafe to other people on the road. If you're a customer and you question the lady in the office, she will verbally assault you and be super disrespectful. I could not believe what some of the customers told us about how they were talked to. My 3 cypress trees in the backyard and the hedge in the front yard needed a trim. It was the worst experience ever. The employee did not want to trim the tops of the cypress trees as agreed to, but he did do one. The trimmer he used was very dull and the trimming looked as if it was chewed. He was not experienced. The front yard hedge needed trimming as the heat scorched the top leaves. The employee said it did not need trimming and just to add water. LAZY! He did finally do the trim - poorly. After the job was completed on the hedges, I asked if they were going to clean up the clippings. He said, I did not pay for that to be done. So I ended up cleaning it up and redoing the cypress trees myself. A waste of $200 and the office didn't seem to care how bad the job was. I've used LV Tree Worx on two different occasions; once for palms, once for a mesquite tree trim and small dead tree removal. If you have anything other than palms that need trimmed, avoid this company at all costs. The crew took weeks to come out after my quote, showed up without equipment (just a hand saw), trimmed the branches I needed and simply cut the small dead tree down, no removal. The crew was kind and openly felt like they looked unprofessional because the company's leadership had left them unprepared. It took 11 days for another crew to come and pick up the debris they had left although I contacted the company multiple times without a response back. I had to get rid of most of the debris myself and remove the dead trees stump. When payment came, I asked to remove the charge for the dead tree and the massive inconvenience they'd left on me with the debris (my HOA was not happy); I was told I could get $20 off. After an argument, we agreed to $75 off a $275 bill because I didn't pay, I was told, "We will drop $275 of debris back off at your house." Mind you, I'd gotten rid of virtually all the debris myself and they picked up two large branches when they finally came. TLDR:Find a different tree trimmer. read more

The representatives from the company, Limb-it-less Tree Service, came to our house on Wednesday, 4/12/17 to give an estimate for the work my husband and I needed done. The representatives, Victoria and Branden, quoted a price of $990.00 for the removal of four cypress trees, and their stumps, six shrubs, a sycamore tree, and their respective stumps. The work was promised to be completed the next day. I did not receive a formal estimate, the only monetary information that was communicated was done in person and via text message. The company did not complete the work in its entirety on Thursday, instead, they used a chain saw to take the tops off of the three shrubs, removed the cypress trees and their stumps, and removed two shrubs with the respective stumps. Branden promised to return the following day (Friday) to complete the work. The workers did not come on Friday, but again, we were promised a complete project on Saturday. The work also failed to be completed on that promised Saturday. Branden and Victoria promised us, yet again, that the work would be completed Monday morning between 7-8am. I waited at the house until 8:20am, and no one came. Also, there was no communication that anyone would be running late. Because of the lack of communication, and several failed attempts to finish the project, my husband and I decided to hire another company to complete the work. I communicated with Victoria via text that the workers did not show, and we would be hiring another company. She told me that her workers encountered problems, and they were on their way. I told her, again, that we were done giving chances, and we were going to hire someone else. Despite the relay of this information, Branden and Victoria dispatched their workers to our home. The workers went on the property, did work that we weren't quoted for, nor did we request, making that "visit" totally unauthorized. Despite our demand the the work be discontinued because of several broken attempts for completion, the company persisted. This persistence, lead to many unnecessary phone calls, and a very derogatory conversation with my husband, Jaremy Bellows. My husband called Branden to ensure the workers left our property and ceased to do the work they DID NOT have permission to do. Instead of apologizing, Branden yelled at my husband, who serves our country in the USAF. In his belligerent banter he screamed about the situation being "bull shit", and demanding his money. Branden also discredited my husband by telling him that "this is the American way" of doing business. Rest assured, my husband just wanted an invoice. My husband then asked for him to send us an invoice. Instead of calming down, and sending an invoice he threatens to put a lien on our property. This behavior is that of a disturbed individual, and does not demonstrate a desire to please customers. Also, it clearly demonstrates a clear disrespect for the United States of America and her Military Men and Women. This disrespect is completely unwarranted and is, in reality, very threatening. Because of these issues, we have absolutely no interest in continuing work with Limb-it-less trees, and forbid the company from stepping on our property through the trespassing laws of BCPD. The company has disabled their reviews on Facebook, and did not so much as apologize for their neglect, harassment, or disrespect. One star because when they actually do show up to work they do a good job. However the problem is never knowing IF they will show up. I was scheduled to have them come out to my house in July and no one ever came or called to say they wouldn't be coming. My husband called 5 days later and asked why no one came. They said due to COVID things were backed up. We rescheduled for a date in August. Again, no one called and no one showed up. This time, I called the next day and asked what happened. They apologized and said someone should have called us, however they did not. We rescheduled again for a second time, this time in September. We actually did receive a text message this time the day before, but once again they cancelled on us. We will no longer be rescheduling with this company and will be taking our business elsewhere. We have tried to be understanding, but at this point we have been waiting two months to get our yard taken care of. The lack of communication with this company is unsatisfactory. When I called to let them know we would no longer require their services, the woman actually lied and told me that my husband texted them back and said it was okay to reschedule, however my husband did not respond to them knowing we would be cancelling their services. Worst experience ever. Hired them to remove 6 trees. To start with I had to pay deposit ($1100) with Zelle. Day before project was to start I tried to contact them to be sure we were all good with no answer nor call back. When I made the appointment I made it with Brandens wife and made it clear I wanted to be here and would be taking off work to accommodate it. Morning of they didn't show up and I called and called with no answer. Then I looked them up online (should have done that to start) and all you read is how they never show up. So I called again and left a message that I called the bank to try and get money back and not to bother coming. Finally someone named Keven called and said he would be here by 3pm so I said don't bother. Then Branden called and was nice and at the end I said how we going to make it right he said you tell me. I said just give me my money and we are good. He said ok and hung up. A few minutes later my phone rings with a woman yelling and giving me a lot of none sense. She said no we won't give you all your money you have to pay a penalty!! I said what for what?? I took the day off you guys never showed and you wouldn't answer the phone nor did you call me to explain you wouldn't be here and why. They gave us a quote for palm trimming and removing 2 oleanders, which was a great price. Was told they would put something on the oleander stumps to keep them from growing back. Guess what is growing back....you got it. The stumps they were supposed to kill! In March 2020 I contacted LV Tree Worx to come out and trim 6 trees and to remove one tree that had been attacked by beetles. One of the trees that I had them trim, had seen some better days, but I was told that it had "cancer" not bugs and to give it more water. We still have that tree, and have found out it is not "cancer" it does have bugs, but we are keeping it until it has no more growth. The trim that was to be removed, Branden convinced me to have it cut down to a stump and in 2 months later they would come and remove the rest of it. This would give time for the roots and all to die. Approximately 2 months later I called to make the appointment for them to come back out, to find out I had to pay more money for the stump removal. I wasn't happy about it, but needed it removed so I paid it. Branden insured me that once the stump was removed and all ground out I would be able to plant another tree there without a problem. Approximately a month ago, early May 2020, we decided to have a tree planted there. When the gardener came with the tree and started digging, he found that the stump had only been ground down a few inches below the surface and covered over. Needless to say I wasn't very happy about that. I called the company and spoke with Branden, and he was an absolute jerk. His biggest issue I believe was that I didn't call him to put in a new tree. If I had known I would have the run around I did, I would have never called him to trim the trees. He questioned me about the company that was going to plant the new tree...were they bonded, insured, what was their name. I told him it was none of his business. I could tell he was really angry, but what me, the customer. I had to pay another $200 to get the stump out because Branden would not call me or my husband back to reschedule LV Tree Worx to come back out. They do an okay job with tree trimming etc.; however Brandon (the owner) NEVER follows through to come over for an estimate or return a phone call. He always makes some sort of excuse. This hardworking and efficient crew removed a shoestring acacia from my back yard that was probably 20 feet higher than my two-story house. Although the job took longer than they estimated, they were very thorough in the removal and the cleanup afterward. A neighbor paid substantially more to have a virtually identical tree removed.
